Quiet area and great view. Only about 15 minutes away from anywhere we wanted to go. With bathrooms attached to most rooms it really made the stay pleasant.
With private bathrooms in each bedroom, this was a perfect place for a group! Amazing view, peaceful neighborhood, close proximity to historic downtown. We loved it!
Beautiful place, great accommodations for everyone!
Our friends met for the weekend and a great stay on the lake. The property has been renovated with beautiful taste, all rooms and beds were comfortable and we took advantage of a pontoon boat at the marina. Erin, the host helped us book and is very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!
The property and house was amazing! Being just across from the lake made for happy grandchildren! Well stocked house with everything you could need! Thanks Erin!
Our family arrived on a Monday and left on a Friday. Four great days and nights. We liked the old hotel feeling with the long hallway, with individual rooms that almost all had private bathrooms. The living and dining area is spacious and the kitchen has everything a large group needs. We enjoyed being on the White River which provided more entertainment. Views are spectacular. Highly recommended by our group.
We choose this place for a family stay to attend a family wedding. Our main reason was the number of bedrooms with bathrooms. The common area had an amazing view of the river and a big enough area for a hair stylist to set up and do everyone’s hair and makeup. The kitchen was well stocked for a large group with plenty of seating inside and on the porch. It had an oversized island which made a good place to set up a buffet for family. It is an older building with a lot of character. The host was very responsive and she went above and beyond when she went to the lodge before we arrived to take in a delivery from Rent the Runway for one of our guests.
We had a lovely stay with our friend group. We all cooked together the first night and the kitchen had a lot of space and well stocked. Lots of common space for us to hang out. The bedrooms were comfortable. Will definitely come back!
We absolutely loved the lodge. The accommodations were perfect. The views were completely AMAZING. Erin was a great pleasure to book with, work with and communications were top notch!!!
Everything was beautiful both outside and inside the lodge. The living room definitely was our central spot to hang out in because of the wall of windows for viewing the river and other scenery there.
Definitely going to save this location for future trip planning for our group or just a get away for the wife and I.
Thank you again
Stayed at this place in September, and the weather was picture perfect. We had approx. 30 adults and a dozen children coming to Eureka Springs for a family reunion, and this place was IDEAL for our group. We rented the upstairs, and the 2 downstairs units, as well as the Historic Depot immediately behind out unit. Our family and 2 cousins shared the Upper Unit, which has 7 beautifully decorated bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Most bedrooms had their own bath, however 2 bedrooms did have a shared bathroom off a short connecting hallway. That hallway had a doorway that lead outside to the wrap-around porch. Honestly, all of the bedrooms were so cute--no one at ALL minded the shared bathroom between 2 bdrms. Our 4 year old grandson loved the 7th bedroom with bunk bed (twin over full), and although it was a small bedroom, it was perfect for him, and right across from his parents room, which was ideal. The kitchen was fully appointed and had everything we needed. Honestly cannot think of a thing it was lacking. We fed our group at this place two nights of our stay, and needed crock pots which they did have. Fridge is nice and big, and has a large pantry that had a few things in there to use--some spices, small bag of sugar, etc...Also extra rolls of paper towels and garbage bags. Plenty of ALL the utensils needed to cook for a large family! Our niece and nephew each rented the Lower Units for their family, and those units were adorable and fully appointed as well. Everyone LOVED!
The views are fantastic with the large wall of windows looking out at the lake. The large L-shaped deck with lots of seating options, was very inviting. We found it comfortable with the breeze even in late July. Great area inside, where we all gathered for game playing, eating and talking. There were 14 of us. The kitchen is great with the full size appliances and large island. Extremely well supplied. Bedrooms were nice with attached bathrooms and rooms consistent in size. Amazed at how well the AC units worked.
The property was great. Photo on the listing very accurate to the actual property. The location right on the lake was beautiful & we had plenty of space for our group of 10 girls. The only thing that might have made it better would be if there was a common bathroom or a bathroom that the bunk room was attached to. All other bedrooms have a bathroom attached. It was a great house & great location. We loved it!
The property was absolutely beautiful & the perfect size to have everyone stay. I was pleasantly surprised that 4 bedrooms had their own bathrooms. 2 bedrooms had a bathroom between, but #1 room didn’t have a door on the backside, so anyone coming out of #3 bedroom can see into #1 bedroom. The most disappointing part of the rooms was #6. The room didn’t look finished, no air or heat or closet. It had a bunk bed (full/twin) with no accessible bathroom. The dining room table has been treated rough & one of the dining room chairs was broken. The kitchen had everything we needed, except disposables to cook. The views was amazing.
My siblings and their spouses met for a reunion; this was the ideal location with a beautiful lake view. Each couple had their own bedroom with a private bath and the gathering area was so comfortable.
We rented their available pontoon boat and enjoyed a great day on the lake.
Erin and her husband were welcoming hosts. They have just added two additional, two-bedroom rentals to the property; beautifully decorated. We will keep this in mind for larger family gatherings.
Thank you so much Erin for giving us such wonderful memories.
The place was absolutely amazing at surface level; decorated nicely, attention to detail on amenities, fantastic location. However, upon arrival, well after the 3:00 checkin time, there were work trucks and a trailer blocking the area for us to park and easily unload our cars. It was awkward. Inside the rooms were nice and big with easy access to the bathrooms, with the exception of the bunk bed room. It would have been nice to have an available restroom outside of one of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were clean with the exception of the shower heads where some of the holes were plugged from hard water. The floors were pretty dirty with dust and dirt, the window sills had dust and bugs, and cobwebs lined the edges of the ceiling.
The kitchen was big and had all the necessary dishes and small appliances that worked well. The dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet though. It was nice having the washer and dryer, though there was so much lint in the dryer liner it could have started a fire.
It rained significantly early on in the evening and the roof began leaking in several spots. We placed towels, bowls and buckets around the house and let the property manager know who stated she thought they had taken care of that issue the week before and blamed some birds for eating the roof. That was it. Nothing about coming to fix the problem the next day or anything. It rained heavily the remainder of the night which caused it to flood in one of the bathrooms and leak on one of the beds where a guest was sleeping. So I texted the property manager to let her know, super responsive but, again, blamed the birds and sent pics for proof. Unnecessary, I just want to know how the problem will be resolved and stated we will need a huge discount for the inconvenience of a couple ladies having to sleep on the couch and us having to clean up some of the mess. Not sure if that will happen. The owner was out of the country and we never heard back on that part. Later that afternoon the property manager came to clean up the mess and patch the ceiling. Definitely a patch and not a fix. Hopefully it is taken care of for the next folks who come in. They also allowed us to use the rooms in the unit below so no one had to sleep in the room with the leaks.
It would be nice to have some shades over the front windows as the last morning was extremely sunny and heated the house up to uncomfortable levels.
Needs to be cleaned better for a $395 cleaning fee.
This was a perfect place for a leadership team retreat. Privacy for guests and a great communal space. We were close to great restaurants and also had a fully stocked kitchen to make meals. I appreciate the hosts work to make this historic site a destination for travelers.
