Great Place

This was a great place with lots of amenities. Our family of 6 stayed here for 3 nights before our cruise. It was clean and the beds were really comfortable. It came with toilet paper, bar soap in the bathrooms, bath towels, beach towels, and paper towels in the kitchen. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen could have been better equipped. Be aware that the kitchen did not come with the following: a kitchen towel, a colander, for pasta, a bottle opener, for wine/beer, a hand whisk, to whisk eggs, a decent spatula, and some serving spoons. Not having these isn't a deal breaker, but it would have made things a lot easier if these were provided. There is a Walmart and lots of other stores fairly close to the condo. You can walk to the water park from the condo, but it's a long walk. However, there is a pool, very close (across the parking lot) from the condo. Overall, this was a beautiful condo with great amenities. We will definitely stay again.

An excelent surprise

We loved the cleanliness, the neighborhood, the community club, the closeness to parks, grocery stores, medical facilities. Everything was wonderful. My only recommendation: add kitchen towels and a spatula. I will pick this unit and community every single time I travel back to Kisimmee.

A Gem in Kissimmee!

Beautiful property, enjoyable indoors and outdoors! We had a short stay but definitely want to come back for a longer stay!

Nice place, good location, room for improvement

The place was nicely furnished and very large. It had a nice open view to a stream with a walking trail. The things that could be improved were: communication (we emailed with a question right before check in but got no response) and the least equipped rental I have ever seen in a rental. Be prepared to bring or go out to buy toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, and dish towels even for a short stay. We didn’t cook anything, but we noticed the kitchen wasn’t well-equipped at all compared to what we were used to in rentals. It was nice that the bunks were double beds, but the bunks were not against the wall and were really unstable. The railing was also very low. I wouldn’t trust it for young kids. Also, one of the reasons we selected the place was the outdoor seating area but the furniture was full of bird poop.

Location

We like to stay in a condo rather than hotel when we stay for an extended period of time. Plenty of space for our family of 4. This was great proximity to Disney parks. There was minimal to no traffic. This was also a gated community. I didn't see it in description when booking but pleasantly surprised when we arrived.

Nice condo, mediocre facilities

The condo was fantastic - everything the listing promised. The Storey Lake facilities were ok - facilities staff (specifically at the main pool) we're not very friendly. We were kicked out of the pool for 2 out of the 4 days there due to apparent inclimate weather (although sun was shining). There is no shade at the pool for little ones, unless you pay extra for a cabana (50USD for 4 hours). Everything, including towels at the pool, mini putt clubs & balls is an extra charge.

Amazing

I’m never disappointed with Deconova’s condos at storey lake. This condo was amazing, clean, and felt like home. The only thing I’d say is it would be nice to have measuring cups and an oven mitt, maybe some kitchen towels too.

Great complex near Disney

Family and I stayed here for a couple days before spring break, had a wonderful time and will probably be back in the future. Unit was very clean and modern and had all the amenities we could need. Community pool was great, all the kids had an awesome time. Very close to Publix and Target so easy to make grocery run. When we come back to this area I will make it a point to stay at Storey Lake Resort.

Great stay!!

This property was exactly as photoed in person! It worked great for myself, husband, and our 2 friends. The pool area fills up quickly, and line for the bar was long most of the time (prepare to wait), but the resort itself was very clean and conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice and new place. Finishes, linens were fine and what you would expect a this price point. Plenty of Parking and nice overall facilities, although we never had a chance to use them.

Great location for Disney & Universal

I was hesitant to book this property due to the lack of reviews for this unit and some poor reviews for other units in the same building. We were pleasantly suprised by location and ease of entering the development at checkin time. I gave high marks for all except check-in, as the provided internet code didn't work (& cell reception was very bad in this area) and they had to research to get the correct ones. I had also specifically asked them to confirm that linens be provided for the pullout sofa and they assured me they were in the closet. Upon check-in, I discoverd they were missing. I contacted them and they said they couldn't get them to me that evening (it was around 7PM when I discovered this) and we had to wait until the next day which was disappointing. They also need to provide a book with directions of how to work the TV. We couldn't get the TV to work in the main room for regular network channels. This first floor unit is brand new, clean and a very comfortable place to sleep while spending most of our time at the parks. Our teen daughters were in the the bunk bed room and our teen son was on the fold out couch. We were getting up very early anyway to head to the park, so this worked well for us and sure beats a family of 5 in a hotel room. Full kitchen and appliances are all new but we didn't use anything other than the frig as we ate most meals out or take out. The management company just needs to work out some kinks to make guest feel more welcomed and organized upon arrival. I'd stay here again in the future.
