Secluded waterfront cabin, trout fishing, hot tub, pet friendly, game room

This is a waterfront cabin on Brasstown Creek with small rapids, creating peaceful sounds heard from the entire property. It sleeps 10 people. There is a basement for extra space, along with a bunk room perfect for kids. It is 5 minutes from Lake Chatuge where you can rent boats. Less than 5 minutes to wineries and golfing.

This cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. On the main floor is the master bedroom with a king bed and daybed with an attached full bathroom with jetted tub. Also on the main floor, is a guest bedroom with a twin over queen bunk bed with beautiful views of the creek. Downstairs you will find the second guest room. This room has a queen bed, and a daybed with a trundle. There is a full bathroom downstairs, with private access from the guest room, along with a separate entrance from the downstairs living space.

Downstairs is a perfect for extra entertaining space. There is a large smart TV and a ping pong table. We provide tons of board games and cards. Connected to this room is the garage which also has a basketball game, cornhole, putting green, and foosball.

There is a fully stocked upscale kitchen, linens provided, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. There is both a keurig and drip coffee maker. There is both a gas and charcoal grill. You will need to bring your own charcoal if using the charcoal grill.

Outside is wonderful for entertaining! There is over 1,000 square feet of deck space. You can hear the rushing water from any place on the entire property. Enjoy your coffee on the deck, looking at and listening to the water down below. There is over one acre of private land on the water. The yard is nice and flat by the water, and also features a flagstone patio and firepit directly on the water. There are steps to get down into the creek which is perfect for playing in! We do not provide firewood, but there is plenty of wood on the property you may use.

There is a large, 7 seater hot tub on the bottom deck. Also on the bottom deck is an outdoor TV and bar top overlooking the water. Perfect for watching football games outside in the fall!

There is also a small tiny house created just for kids. There are books, games and toys inside the tiny house.

It is 5 minutes from Lake Chatuge where you can rent boats. It is also very close to golfing, wineries, restaurants, hiking, whitewater rafting, and more.

Prior to booking, you must let us know how many people will be present at the house, specifying adults and children. Our minimum age of renting is 23 years old.

**Dogs are allowed but must have a pre approval prior to booking. There is a max of two dogs and there is a $75 pet fee per pet*** We do provide dog bowls and an XL dog crate.

We do provide a high chair and plenty of kid toys and books.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

This was exactly what we were looking for our family's holiday getaway. We were able to comfortably fit 5 adults and our pup with no issues. The house was clean, well equipped, and spacious with the multiple living areas. We used the hot tub every night, which was great after long days of being out and about. There was a lot to do within an hours driving distance - multiple fantastic wineries (highly recommend crane creek and living water), Helen, Blue Ridge, Brasstown Bald, etc. We also passed a lot of water/lake activities but unfortunately couldn't partake in the cold. Nicki was very responsive throughout our stay and a great host.

Relaxing and fun all in one!

Our family of five had a great time! The sound of the creek was so relaxing and we got to see deer in the morning and late afternoon from our balcony! We enjoyed all of the games and the hot tub was awesome at nighttime! The owners immediately messaged and called us when we had a few questions. I do recommend getting there in the daylight. The driveway is steep and it’s hard to see to turn in. But we look forward to going back! Can’t wait to see the landscaping in the early fall!

This property is very unique. There are few properties in the mountains that provide a mountain view that looks down upon rolling flat land that reaches out into a very active creek. You can clearly hear the rushing creek from a six story view. It is like no other!

We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin was beautiful! The kids loved the big back yard and the creek was the cherry on top! We had the best time! The host was very responsive and helpful! Hope to stay here again!

We loved our vacation in Young Harris! The house was perfect for our group (6 adults and 4 kids). The location was great, and we all had a blast sitting by the fire next to the creek. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location and very relaxing

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this very secluded, yet close to all Hiawassee has to offer cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin is equipped with everything you need. Wish it hadn't been so hot and humid, but it's August in Georgia. We liked this cabin more than any other we've stayed at in North Georgia and hope we can come back soon.

Great place!

Very nice cabin. The creek below was wonderful. Kids loved it. Didn’t see any trout, though. Maybe seasonal? One thing to know is that there are some stairs and kind of a steep grade down to the creek. An elderly person might have a hard time. Otherwise, I loved it and would go back.

Great Family Getaway

Our family of 6 and 2 friends had a wonderful time staying at this cabin with plenty of room. Beautiful views of the creek in the morning from the porch. We also had 16 for dinner one night and the kitchen was perfectly stocked for everyone.

Best VRBO ever!

This property was absolutely perfect! The cabin was very clean, well maintained, VERY well stocked with everything to make stay comfortable and amenable! The playhouse in the yard was a hit with our grandkids (7,4 & 2 yrs) but the creek in the backyard was the biggest draw for all of us, including the two dogs! The hot tub worked perfectly and was very clean! The owner was incredibly responsive and kind in all communications. Parking was easy and plentiful too. Excellent excellent cabin! Cannot wait to return.

Beautiful place!

Our favorite part of this visit was just staying at the cabin and spending time together. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck and listening to the creek in the mornings and later in the day wading in the creek. We loved playing ping pong in the evenings. A great place to stay.

Beautiful setting, super clean

The property is accurately represented by the online images. It was sparkling clean. We were concerned there might be pet odor but that was not the case. The creek below the house is the star of the listing. Easy access to Hiawasee and Young Harris. We had an awesome few days at the property. Perfect for families with children.

Spacious cabin on the water dog and family friendly!

This is a great cabin with plenty of space for the family. The kitchen is fantastic, and opens up into a great family area. There is plenty of eating space for everyone indoors and outdoors. We traveled with two ten year olds, two grandparents and two pups. The cabin is very dog friendly, our pup loved the creek and open space to run. The grandparents pup is not a water dog. The master worked for the grandparents since it was on the main floor and the kids room with double bunks was perfect. The entertainment areas are great for the kids , with all the games and plenty of privacy between the upstairs and downstairs area. The walkway down to the backyard could use a railing, especially for older people who want to get down to the creek and fire pit. We had campfires nightly, which was so peaceful with the rushing creek. Boys were fishing during the day when we weren’t out and about. The driveway is a little cumbersome to maneuver in an F150, but manageable. Cabin was well appointed with items we had brought, but we’re available for us on arrival. Dish soap, foil, k cups, garbage bags, charcoal. The property manager was Extremely responsive before arrival, we didn’t need anything during our stay, but assume she would have been just as responsive. We would definitely return to this cabin or if any other properties are available with this property manager would 100% book if it was what we were looking for.

Fabulous

This cabin was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. All you need is your suitcase. Very quiet and peaceful. And the constant sound of the waterfall was so relaxing! We did find it difficult to get from the house to the creek as the rear walkway stone was slick and needs a railing for safety. The steep grade of the yard could greatly benefit from some gentle terrain steps. However, once down by the creek it is so soothing. The beds are all very comfortable. An upstairs and downstairs living area gave this large family room to stretch out. The kitchen is fabulous. There is indoor and outdoor seating for meal time. One of the best cabins we've stayed at in North Georgia. We will certainly come back.
