We had a very large group- enjoyed the space to spread out. Lots of outdoor room to gather - my family used the bag boards for a couple tournaments and there was more than enough parking to accommodate 5 cars and the tournament. Had everything we could have needed to make our annual trip to the river enjoyable and comfortable!
We enjoyed the home during our stay. The air conditioning worked great and the beds were comfortable. Thanks for providing wood to burn in the fire pit and we also enjoyed playing bags in the driveway.
Me and my group of friends stayed here to float on the ruver and had a great time. A lot of amenities and a large driveway to park trailer and trucks if your hauling side by sides down for trail riding. Over all pretty cozy little house.
House was a great place for a bunch of friends who were coming from all over, plenty of space for all of us. Loved that we had a kitchen so that we were all able to cook together
House was great. Had personality, a lot of room and all the amenities. I was worried about the basement due to some other reviews but it was great down there, just half-finished and concrete floors. Host was super responsive and helpful with tips for the area. Would definitely stay here again on a group trip. Thanks Lori!
We got there and found the toilet was falling over and the floor was rotted around it. There was tiles missing all over the bars of soap all over the floor there was.
The house was as previously reviewed. Everything worked and was AC nice and cool when we arrived, 90+ outside. The Basement 2 bedrooms are available for sleeping, but our group avoided. everything else was fine. Bag Chairs and cornhole game was nice bonus under the carport.
Every year we go on a float trip to Eminence with our adult kids and spouses.
This house had everything we needed. Big enough for us to all spread out and have some privacy. We were especially thrilled with the 2 full bathrooms and 1/2 bathroom. We enjoyed sitting outside each night under the large carport where bag chairs were provided as well as citronella candles and bug spray which was a very nice touch! This house is in a quiet neighborhood yet only a few blocks from Main Street. Wendy’s Canoe Rental picked us up at the house each day. Thoroughly enjoyed our quality time together!
The house is exactly what you’d expect based on listing and photos. It is very clean and smells nice. There were around 8 lawn chairs In the carport and a corn hole game. Regular coffee maker and keurig coffee maker and toaster. There are two queen bedrooms with tvs and a twin upstairs. A twin and king downstairs with another Rec space. Beds are comfortable with good pillows and blankets.
We used Windys for the float trip. They were out of rafts so we just bought ours off Amazon and it was 10.00 cheaper and good quality (brand river run) l. They have you park at the ball field and shuttle you from there. They do not pick you up at the house which we thought would be a bummer but it’s only a mile to the house.

Good Place to Stay for Floating
Overall the house was okay. The beds were very uncomfortable and there were no pictures of the bedroom in the basement and out of the 3 couples staying in the house no one felt comfortable sleeping in the basement. The tv in the one bedroom didn’t work. The host was always very helpful and responsive.
Spacious property and great location for our stay. My dad is from Eminence so I’ve grown up visiting this special town my whole life. We usually stay with family but were in town for a funeral and needed a last minute place with room for 6 adults - this is the spot! The vintage decor was super cute and we enjoyed the corn hole boards as well. Thank you for sharing your space with us!
We had an awesome experience staying here! The home was clean, smelled really good, and was very comfortable. Lori was very intentional with hospitality. From condiments, paper products, soft sheets and mattresses, corn hole game outside, etc. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher at the home as well. The property was perfectly located in town and Windy's Canoe Rental picked us up and dropped us off both days we floated. Perfect!
I would definitely recommend this place and will probably stay here again when in this beautiful area.
Perfect location to experience Eminence and the local rivers.
No surprises as we found the property as listed. Having food beyond condiments in the fridge was a little strange. But property was quaint and comfortable. The basement is not finished but provides a spot for foosball and additional relaxation area including a TV separate from the main floor. Our favorite was sitting outside under the carport area at night. Area was quiet.
The home was very cozy and loved, with the owners clearly having put effort into updating the main floor. The basement is unfinished and could still use some updating, but was fine to use for laundry. As a group of young women, we were would not comfortable sleeping in either basement bed, but the three upstairs bedrooms were perfect with an added air mattress in the living room.
The A/C worked perfectly for our visit and the house was set at a crisp 70° for our check-in. There were plenty of pots, pans, and silverware for making dinner and the bathrooms has clean towels and hand soap.
This was the perfect spot for our small bachelorette float trip and we would happily stay here again in the future.
We were a group of photographers exploring the area for a few days. The house provided us a great home base for our adventure. The house met our needs for our stay. It has some lovely touches, but could use some updating in the quality of the furnishings. Communication with the host was wonderful!
It was perfect for our trip. Two days on Current and Jack's Fork. Enjoyed local restautants and cooking in. Visited the gorgeous Alley Spring Mill, Round Spring, and Echo Bluff. A very fun trip!

Needs work
So in fairness I think this was a new listing but the place needs work. Faucets leaking, loose toilets, needs sprayed for bugs, shower curtain falling down in master bath.
Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dirty kitchen sink.
Maybe the worst part was the programmable thermostat that was set to like 80 and it was a 100 degree weekend. The house never did cool down.. the living room was nice and the check in was fine.
The place needs some work and better cleaning to be a better VRBO experience.
I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. The place has a rustic beauty as well as having everything folks would need or want to make their vacation exceptional. The rooms are spacious and there is a terrific fire pit right on the premises. The beds are super comfy and the decor is antique and distressed throughout the house. We really enjoyed staying at this house.
