3 Bedroom Home in a Rural Country Setting.
2021 Beautiful new home in the heart of the Finger Lakes. This fully furnished Cape Cod Cottage sleeps up to 6 adults with a futon available for an additional 2 people. Enjoy a quiet vacation relaxing in a clean country environment with the stars brightening the night skies. The cottage sits on a small lot surrounded by trees on 3 sides on a narrow country road.

Enter in to enjoy a spacious living room with a gas fireplace to bring tranquility to your evening reading of your favorite book. Adjoining the living room is a bedroom and kitchen with a glass patio door opening out to a large deck overlooking a beautiful backyard where cookouts and yard games make for a great evening of connecting with family and friends. The deck holds a luxury grill and fire table and the backyard has an outdoor firepit surrounded by chairs, perfect for a relaxing campfire! The basement is full of entertainment for children and adults! From a cozy living/ fireplace area, to a pool table, and children's play area stocked with trikes, scooters, games, ect.. you're sure to While Away your time! Free Wifi available! There is no TV. 3 kayaks available on site with lifejackets! Yard games include Spike Ball, Corn Hole, Kan Jam, Ladder Golf, and Bocce Ball!

Local attractions are plentiful with Keuka Lake/Park and Garrett Chapel close by, Penn Yan 10 minutes away, Canandaigua 30 minutes, numerous wineries and Wine Trails, Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, Edgewood Country Store nearby selling handstitched Mennonite and Amish quilts, and a small Mennonite book/binocular store directly across the street. delightful stay/ rural setting

New, clean, and well-stocked. Nice play space for young children in the basement. Located on a quiet country road in a lovely rural area. Hosts were very responsive to any concerns. We had a delightful stay.

Great house!

The house is super clean and very well stocked. We cooked dinner (on the grill) and breakfast at the house and it was really nice - great kitchen. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Great place, indoor and out!

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend and had such a great time. It was close to several breweries with great views. The fire pit out back was used every single night, with the wood they provided. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet Birthday/New Years Getaway

Our stay was amazing and exactly what we needed after a hectic year. Peaceful, beautiful clean cottage. Everything was as advertised. The cottage was so clean and had every amenity that we needed. It was the perfect get away for us and only a 3 1/2 drive from Ontario Canada. Town was only a 12 minute drive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. And many thanks for the welcome basket of fresh bread, honey, coffee and maple syrup that we used everyday! We hope to return in the summer! Thank you!

While Away Cottage

This home was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, well appointed, quiet location, just an amazing delightful getaway. My grand babies loved the playroom in the basement, especially the scooters and the air hockey table. The host was super nice and responded quickly to questions about the home. There was a lovely welcome basket upon arrival filled with homemade bread, local honey, pancake mix, local syrup, and coffee. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely home. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to New York.

We were very pleased with our stay. We are a couple from Ontario and were meeting mid way up with a couple from Pennsylvania. The While Away cottage was as advertised. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed and we had a great getaway with our friends.

Wonderful weekend

Finger Lakes Stay

The house was fabulous. It having 2 bedrooms with Queen beds was convenient when traveling with other couples. 3 bedrrom with 3 good sized beds is rare when I was looking for a rental property. The house was very clean and well appointed. We thought the waffle and maple syrup gift basket was very sweet, no pun intended. The propane fire pit on the deck is a perfect place to relax in the evening. My wife and I are already discussing next years trip. Thank you for hospitality.

Girls weekend in the Finger Lakes

My 2 girlfriends and I spent a long weekend. This house was perfect for our stay. Plenty of space and well appointed. The back yard is beautiful. Quiet location, with just the occasional sound of a passing car or buggy. We had a great time!!

Nice Getaway at Finger Lakes

This property was perfect for our long weekend at the Finger Lakes. It was close to both Keuka and Seneca Lakes and many restaurants, attractions, and wineries. The property was private with large backyard and nice large deck for entertaining. Description of house was very accurate and owner was very responsive. Neighbor across the street (owner’s parents) were very hospitable, inviting us to their nighttime sky viewing party. Overall, great all around experience in the Finger Lakes. I would highly recommend this house!

Best Accomodations!

This was a diamond in the rough. Our only problem was that we didn’t stay long enough. The home is clean, big and caters to all ages from infant to senior citizens. We loved meeting the owners father, Ivan. What a charming man. The location was close to some of the finger lakes and shopping. We were welcomed with a basket of fresh bread made by the owners mom, Anna and local coffee with honey and syrup. The home is totally furnished with all kitchen appliances and a back porch with a quiet great view. Beautiful to see the Mennonites in their horse and carriages passing by. Lots of toys for kids, games, puzzles and a pool table. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for one of our best VRBO stays!

Perfect House for a Girls Getaway!

My friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend and I can’t say enough good things about the house! It was even better in person, very spacious and the rooms were a good size! The deck was amazing, perfect huge backyard! 5 min to a wonderful brewery and beautiful winery! The house was well stocked with everything you needed just about! Very well prepared for their guests! And the beds were so comfy! We’ll be back!

Wonderful!

The house was even better than described. It was clean, well stocked and the hosts were wonderful. They were welcoming and responsive. My grand children especially liked the basement full of toys and games. It certainly helped to occupy them on those rainy days when we couldn’t get to the beach to swim. Can’t wait to return there next year!
