Great Flat in a Good Location

The flat is lovely! Very clean, very comfortable, with plenty of space & amenities. The owners’ level of communication was excellent. The flat is within walking distance of many attractions. We were very pleased to get into the rental early, thanks to the owners letting us know it was ready. The only downside is there are no sports channels on the TV.) (CFL, NFL, MLB, etc). TSN is the most watched channel in Canada. Adding TSN to the TV lineup would be a huge bonus.

Great base for exploring Halifax

We enjoyed a four-night stay at Wendy and Carol's place, and used it as a base for exploring the downtown/waterfront area of the city. The apartment was cleaned and ready for us when we arrived and was easy to access and move in. We spent most days out walking the city, but usually relaxed at the apartment in the evening, either reading in the living room or private deck, or watching Netflix. The hosts were very prompt to respond to our questions, and provided lots of useful information about the area that guided our daily activities. Whenever we needed something, they were quick to provide it and made sure that every aspect of our stay was comfortable. It would be difficult to beat the combination of good location and welcoming accommodation that Wendy and Carol provide and we would happily stay there again when we have future opportunities to return to Halifax.

Great place to stay to explore Halifax! Fantastic communication from the hosts Wendy and Carol made our visit easy and enjoyable. Flat was spotless, everything as described, great deck out back to enjoy the good weather. Easy to walk anywhere in Halifax, we didn't even have to move our vehicle, would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again on our next visit to the city!

Perfect place to stay!

We came from BC to stay at this place. We were walking to restaurants, walked down to the waterfront, walked to the Public Gardens. We only ate breakfast at the condo, but it was ansolutely set up to cook dinners! I couldn't believe the little extra touches! Washer and dryer, clothing rack, iron, blow dryer, fans, a/c, coffee filters and even umbrellas. All those things that you don't realize you need until your needing it! The place was so clean. Probably the cleanest we have ever stayed at! Communication was fast and check out easy! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful property in great location!

We rented both units in the house to accommodate 6 adults, (3 couples). It worked out beautifully. The units had easy off street parking and were large, bright and very clean and well equipped for our visit. There were grocery and liquor stores within a 10 min walk as well as lots of restaurants in the area. The harbor was about a 30 min walk. Easy to get there, uphill on the way back. Ubers were plentiful and inexpensive. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back! Owners were very quick to communicate and answer questions.

Quiet, convenient, clean & comfortable!!

A five star stellar stay

Very comfortable stay

All you need and more for a very comfortable stay. The apartment is spacious and the photographs don't do it justice! The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped with all you might need. An easy 30 mins stroll into town and onto the waterfront. My wife and I felt very fortunate to have booked this place and would use again without hesitation.

Great Family vacay spot

We spent the weekend there with our daughter and two of her friends who are in university. The space was clean, close to pretty much everything. We were able to have a proper Thanksgiving supper in their fully equipped kitchen. The owners are friendly, helpful and really know how to treat guests. I’m difficult to impress and I was beyond impressed. We’ll be going back!!!

Wonderful Property and Terrific Hosts

4 nights in this spotlessly clean and well provided property close to downtown Halifax. The hosts were very accommodating and responded promptly to all enquiries. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it a little more. We highly recommend this apartment and it's owners. Kudos also to Janice who maintains the unit before and after guests arrive, she was lovely to deal with as well as friendly and helpful. Would definitely rent this again without even looking anywhere else. Thanks to our hosts!

Perfect accommodation for stay in Halifax

The apartment was perfect for us. Well appointed, charming home in ideal location. Short drive down to waterfront, grocery stores nearby, lovely neighborhood. Owners were quick to respond, had many great suggestions for restaurants. We got to apartment late in evening, keyless entry made it quick to get in and get settled after a long day of travel. Can't say enough about this lovely apartment. It was a relaxing place to return to after a day of sightseeing. Thank you!

Lovely centrally located 2-bedroom place

Wendy and Carol have thought of all the little details that make guests more comfortable, like Kleenex, wastepaper baskets, nightstands, and bedlamps in each bedroom. There's a dishwasher and a washer & dryer, so you can really be on holidays on your holiday. Although we never met them, they went above & beyond the call of duty to help us feel at home in Halifax!

The flats on Duncan are central to everything downtown Halifax has to offer. They are eleven years old, have excellent visitor reviews and are fully outfitted as a home away from home. Laundry in the flat, large well outfitted kitchen, smart tv and hosts that want to make your stay the best possible!

Onsite free parking, office desk and space to work on-site, in-floor radiant heat, and incredibly walkable to all Halifax has to offer. We are close to the Quinpool shopping district, major hospitals and world class universities. Steps from many popular restaurants and the Halifax Common. Quiet neighbourhood but close to everything in central Halifax including local tourist attractions and Halifax's beautiful waterfront. This flat has a lovely, small deck overlooking the backyard.
