In the country, what we lack in street lights, we gain in big sky and stars!
Located near the hustle and bustle of San Marcos, however able to enjoy a slice of country quiet. Just 4 miles (7 minutes) to the college stadium, convenient access to the Outlet Malls and the beautiful San Marcos River. Approximately 37 minutes to Austin, 30 minutes to New Braunfels, Gruene, Wimberly, Canyon Lake, and Dripping Springs.
Outside the tiny house is a cozy shared (with another rental, first come first serve basis) courtyard, featuring a full entertainment gazebo with solar lighting, two areas for grilling, two outdoor eating tables, ambiance, and enough room for yard games, and so much more! Note: Want the courtyard to yourself or need additional sleeping space, we have other short term rentals available on site. Ask about availability.
Inside the 300 square foot suite, (behind the fence to the right of the garage) the Lone Star Serenity Tiny House unit provides an environment to feel right at home!
The living area includes a mini kitchen including all appliances such as a microwave, sink, refrigerator, toaster, and coffeemaker. (please note: no stove/oven).
The main suite living area also includes a queen-size memory foam bed and a full-size pull-out couch. The flat screen Smart TV can be viewed from most angles within the suite. Queen bed area has its own smaller Smart TV.
Suite includes one full bath with a step-up walk-in shower (please note: no tub and a step-up shower).
Rental agreement will be due prior to confirmation of reservation.
Whether you are here for an active football game, (GO Bobcats!), a graduation, tubing the scenic nearby river, visiting the San Marcos downtown hot spots, or just conveniently passing through - this is the perfect stay for you!
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in is at 3pm and Check-out is at Noon. Please be cautious when driving to and from the apartment. Due to being in the country we have an abundance of deer, critters, and natural wildlife that are very active.
SHARED COURTYARD: The shared courtyard area is outdoors that is fenced in. this courtyard is shared with another rental unit. Our property is across the street from over a 1000 acres. This allows our area to enjoy some much appreciated quiet and wildlife. We ask that if you eat or grill outside, when you discard your food and items in the garbage, you close the garbage lid down tight. Wildlife gets hungry too!!
BOOKING: We do not allow third party bookings. Therefore, the person making the reservation must be staying on the property as they are taking responsibility for the stay. Host reserves the right to require an established traveler account with positive reviews.
Photo ID may be required at check-in.
The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanitary napkins, paper towels and baby wipes in trash containers. Our sensitive pipes are on a strict diet of toilet paper and will throw up any other items.
No smoking allowed inside. A cleaning fee of up to $500 to remove odors and stains may be applied if evidence of smoking inside is found.
Pets are not allowed. Due to future travelers allergies, violations could result in a $500 cleaning fee for additional deep cleaning needs.
WEATHER / ACTS OF GOD: Host is not responsible for any weather conditions or acts of god or nature that happen during the travelers stay.
CAPACITY: To ensure all are comfortable, our Maximum Traveler Capacity is 2.
PARKING: Room for ONLY two vehicles at the uncovered Guest Parking marked spots. (Marked with Guest Parking signs)
AMENITIES: Free WIFI, fans, hair dryer, bed linens, towels, and much more.
NOISE: Due to being courteous to our neighbors, we do ask that loud music be turned down after 10pm. Parties and events are not permitted.
SAFETY: COVID-19: Please rest assured we are being proactive and taking necessary precautions in light of COVID-19 in implementing an extra thorough deep cleaning between each and every stay. One 24 Hour Outdoor Video/Audio monitoring camera is installed in courtyard area. This camera faces the front area of the courtyard, including the courtyard front doors. Owners live onsite.
Due to circumstances that may be out of the travelers hands, we highly suggest purchasing travel insurance prior to your stay. Traveler acknowledged and agreed that they are responsible for the safety of themselves, their guests, and their children with respect to the premises.
By requesting a booking at our location, you have accepted responsibility and acknowledgement to abide by the property rules.
Violation of any house rules may result in immediate removal without any reservation reimbursement.
