Great place for a quiet weekend getaway!

Stayed here for just a couple nights in early June with my wife and our dog and we all loved it. Very nice property and close to some decent hiking trails. Plus we saw moose our second night! Highly recommend!

Charming home in the mountains

We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of accommodations and great location. Convenient spot for those looking to experience some of the best Colorado has to offer. The property was everything we needed for our stay and more. Hosts were also very friendly and provided great recommendations in the area.

We loved our stay at this property. It was clean and super cozy. The views from the deck were beautiful. We loved drinking our coffee in the morning and taking in the sights. Location is great as well - tons of beautiful hikes within a short drive.

Mountain getaway

We headed to Fairplay to escape the heat of Denver with our dog and loved this little retreat. Being so close to town but feeling like you are in the middle of the mountains was the perfect combination. They nailed the decor and the front deck was my favorite spot to have coffee and start our day. We worked remotely there for the week, so I can confirm the Wifi was also excellent!

Celebration!

My children and I had a lovely stay. The accomodations were perfect for us. I'm a young mom with breast cancer and we were celebrating the end of a treatment phase, so the trip held a lot of meaning for us. I hope to stay again soon!

Engagement Weekend!

Our stay here was amazing! My partner and I wanted a weekend away before we moved into our new home and this perfect little home allowed us that! We were able to ski, spend time with our puppies, and spend time remotely as a family. We even got engaged that weekend! It was the PERFECT little spot for a relaxing weekend. We will absolutely be back.

Great weekend trip!

This little house was perfect for us for a fall getaway! The views from the deck were amazing. We saw about 30 elk across the way one night and got to listen to them bugle. You have no neighbors and the house was well stocked and cleaned. Great proximity to hiking trails without dealing with all of the people. We will likely be back!

Anniversary Trip

My wife and I visited for our 10 year anniversary and enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was central to a variety of things to do around the area. It was a beautiful secluded spot with great views of the Colorado terrain. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and comfort of the house. Unfortunately, my wife is allergic to dogs and there was dog hair present throughout the house so we had to do some cleaning to prevent her from being dealing with that. Other than that we really enjoyed the house and even got to see a moose wandering the road while there.

Beautiful spot!

We had a great time! Loved seeing the elk pass through the field across the way. The tile and concrete floors made it so I didn’t worry about the pups. We’ll stocked kitchen. Enjoyed my nightly baths in the tub. The bed was a bit of a challenge (it’s high) for my five foot height to get into, but that’s a minor complaint.

Peaceful getaway

Property images are accurate. A great place to getaway. Quiet with pretty views. We had a moose family grazing right below the back deck for two days. Close to town for shopping and dining. House has Dish TV with HBO and Cinemax. House was very clean had plenty of linens and the master bed is very comfortable. I would say you wouldn't want more then three people to stay here as it is made for two. Check in and out easy.

Helles, schönes Häuschen in den Bergen

Mitten in der Natur, sehr ruhig und erholsam. Elche & mehr waren zu beobachten. Hier kann man auch einfach mal nichts machen. Super schöne Unterkunft und eine Gastgeberin, die sofort antwortet. Perfekt!

If you are looking for a quite secluded get away with fantastic wildlife watching this is the place! It was so quite and we were woken up my 5-20 elk every morning. The town of Fairplay is a hidden gem. Would love to go back and will recommend it to others.

Amazing View

The view that this home offers is what makes this property a great place to stay. We saw a mama moose and her baby down in the rocky area. The home has nice appliances and all the dishes/pots/ pans, etc. needed. At night, it was quiet with no city noise.

Super comfortable, great wildlife watching, wonderful location for hikers

We had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed, modern "cabin" on Beaver Creek. It's very comfortable and has great views for wildlife watching -- we saw both elk and moose -- across the valley. It's well-located for hikers, with many excellent trailheads within a 25-30 minute drive, but it's also a great place to hang out on the deck and enjoy the scenery. Perfect for a couple. Recommended!

Fabulous home!

Beautiful little house - perfect for me, my 15 year old and our dog. Indoor/outdoor living with the French doors opening onto the deck. Our dog did not want to leave!!

An amazing property and wildlife was all around. We enjoyed this cabin so much and plan to re-book soon! If you’re considering, do it! Smaller in size, but so super cozy. We really enjoyed FairPlay and Alma which both are really close by.

Cute and cozy!

We loved everything about the place! While we only stayed in the area for a short time, and spent most of our days out hiking... returning to this spot for rest and relaxation was wonderful. They really pay attention to the little details to make your stay fun and comfortable. It's not far from Breckenridge and so many hiking trails. It's a perfect spot for a couple looking for a cozy getaway. If this place caught your eye, don't hesitate to book!
