Mold! Horrible communication with property manager.
The VRBO says there is complimentary coffee provided, but there was none. The dishwasher was full of the previous guests dishes; I should not have to unload the dishwasher after paying for a clean, advertised as “exceptional” property. The worst part about the stay starts with the mold/mildew all over the bathrooms. I sent pictures and our concern to the property manager, and only received one reply, saying that they will send cleaners to replace the moldy shower curtains. Well, the cleaners never came, and the property manager would not respond to any other messages after this, which made an already unpleasant situation very stressful. My wife and I had our dogs at the property, so I needed to make arrangements if indeed cleaners were coming. Unfortunately, the property manager would not respond, and after reaching out to VRBO, they could not reach the property manager either; this put great stress on an already undesirable situation. We came to this cabin because of how it was advertised, and we were greatly let down—there was no communication with the property manager, and the mold is unacceptable. My wife is allergic to mold/mildew. We had to use extra caution and remove the shower curtains so that my wife would not grow ill. I look forward to the response of my message, and will gladly accept a refund for our troubles. I have pictures to share, and will gladly send them in, just shoot me an email with further information and instructions on how to do so.
