We spent a month at this house. The hosts were responsive to our questions and the setting was beautiful. We enjoyed the convenience to Kalispell, Whitefish, as well as Columbia Falls. The house is in an the Meadow Lakes Resort community and felt private. We enjoyed our stay.
The house was lovely and the back patio overlooked the golf course, providing a beautiful view of golfers and wildlife that was very relaxing for coffee in the morning and evening wind-down. The master area was nice with large ensuite bathroom and large closet. Guest room was fine with other bathroom located right next to it but lacked space for storage and luggage. Guest room sheets were musty smelling and had to be washed the first night (personal preference) and all pillows in both rooms could stand to be replaced. Kitchen was stocked adequately. Furnishings were very nice. Main complaint was that the description did not include information that it did not have air conditioning. Since the weather does get into the upper 80s and 90's, it would have been good to know this in advance since one of us has COPD. Assumed air conditioning was a given with this kind of temperatures. Upon arrival, the temp inside the house was 89*. It cooled off with the windows opened at night and closed up during the day, but would have been best to know this prior to choosing a home. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location of the house was great. Would stay here again.
This is a truly wonderful home centrally located in Columbia Falls, right between Whitefish and Glacier National Park.
The house itself is tucked away towards the back of a golf course sprawling neighborhood, and provided tons of privacy. You can tell as soon as you walk in that this is a very well maintained house. All of the furniture, appliances, and fixtures were very high quality - much more comfortable and durable than other rental property furniture I have used. This made the whole experience feel like we were truly staying at someone's home, not just another rental property.
David's communication through the whole process was excellent and the keyless entry made for a very smooth check-in experience. Plenty of parking space on the long driveway, and we also had access to the garage to park our vehicles and store our bicycles. Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an elevated stay in Montana.
Right near the entrance to Glacier NP and close to the airport. Great spot to stay and go adventure.

About the host
Hosted by David Parker
We live here in the winter because we love to ski! We move back to the Pacific Northwest in summer, which is why you get to enjoy Montana in summer staying in our home.
Why they chose this property
Location, Location, Location! You don't have to play golf to enjoy the solitude here. While most Meadow Lake homes are cheek to cheek close to each other, we are not! You barley see the neighboring homes and the outlook is vast across the 7th fairway with only trees and grass to see. You are close to everything yet away from the hustle and bustle. It's a very comfortable home to enjoy your vacation in!
What makes this property unique
Glacier National Park is about as unique as you can get! The opportunities for outdoor activities is endless. You probably know that already!
