An Escape to Lookout Mountain

This is a perfect getaway to check out Lookout Mountain and the surrounding area. We had an incredible four day weekend here and definitely plan on coming back! There is so much to do in and around Lookout Mountain. Highly recommended!

Fantastic, charming and cozy

We really loved our stay. The property is located close to most attractions. It has everything and a bit more to stay comfortably with small touches added by the hosts to make your stay better. The hosts are extremely kind, letting my son help feed the animals and providing helpful information. My son loved being able to move around the house and interact with the animals. I would definitely recommend this property for a stay and we will be returning.

Amazing property

Our family loved this home! My kids adored the animals and helped feed them in the mornings. The guest house had everything we needed and more. One of my favorite unique amenities were the toddler bed bumpers we found. I didn’t have to worry about my 4 year old rolling out of the bed during the night. We had family game nights with the provided games and even built a fire and ate smores one night. We definitely plan to stay here again! We’ve stayed in multiple rental homes and this is one of our all time favorites!

By far, our best vacation rental ever!

This property is perfect!! The location is so peaceful and beautiful! All the animals are so friendly and are such an added bonus! The hosts are super friendly and easy to get ahold of, although there were no problems with our stay! The cabin itself is the most well thought out space and so tastefully decorated. They thought of everything! All the beds were very comfortable! We used the fire pit and the ingredients for s’mores that were laid out for us, which was such a nice touch. I was surprised that we could find such a private, quiet location so close to Chattanooga and Rock City Gardens. We only stayed two nights, but all of us wished we had spent our whole spring break there!

This house is adorable! Very cozy and welcoming.But the very best part is the animals. Greeted by a smiling dog. Saw the horses and called out..they came running up to us! Goats and chickens ! We had the very best time. Ownerscare SO nice. We will be back!

Fun on the Farm

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The owners are so welcoming. The cottage is a 10/10. It had everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the fire pit and bbq area. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated. Our kids loved the goats, horses and dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the farm! Thanks for having us!

This cottage is the perfect little piece of heaven! I seriously did not want to leave.Everything was so clean and the setting is extremely peaceful, but just minutes from most anything you want to do in Chattanooga. My granddaughter loved the animals and was even able to take advantage of 6 inches of snow to do some sled riding!The owners are wonderful and kind people. They respond right away if needed.I would definitely stay again - we are already planning a trip back in the spring to see a different season on the farm. :-)

Truly Amazing

We loved our stay on this beautiful, quiet farm. It was exactly what we needed and the owners were nice enough to leave little touches for us, like bottled waters and a smores kit that we could use at the fire pit. The cabin was warm and cozy and perfect for our time there. I would highly recommend and plan to go back soon for a longer stay.

My family loved staying at this property! It was clean and stocked well. Our little girl loved getting up every morning and seeinf the goats, rabbit, and horses! The property was easy to find with a GPS and the directions given from the host.

Fantastic property with breathtaking views!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property for the Thanksgiving week of 2024. The views from this property are breathtaking and the presence of Fall was defiantly making it even more picture perfect! Our family, especially our children, couldn't get enough of waking up every morning to go outside and say good morning to all of the animals on the property, even so much we had to make sure we were back before sunset a couple of times so that they could say goodnight to them as well! This cottage/barn home is meticulously designed and laid out, extremely clean and offers everything you need to enjoy your stay! So close to so many tourist attractions, downtown Chattanooga, hiking trails, waterfalls and great restaurants! Thank you SO MUCH for letting us experience time on your property, memories were definitely created there and will be cherished for a lifetime! We will definitely reach out again if we are back in the area!

Beautiful Farmhouse Getaway!

We came to see Chattanooga, and quite honestly Lookout Mountain had everything we wanted. The location of the property was excellent, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a quiet retreat. We loved how it was decorated - just enough without being overdone. One of our best meals was a grilled cheese sandwich on the deck watching the animals! Audrey and Rob were super responsive with any questions we had. Big thanks and big 10s all around!

Great location for a relaxing vacation

Fate would have it we stumbled across this cottage at the last minute (due to a hurricane in FL) and honestly it was perfect for us! The hosts have set this home away from home up beautifully. Close to all the attractions, hiking and food but nestled into the quiet comfort of a mini farm. The hosts were friendly and it was a joy to watch the sunrise and visit with the animals. We highly recommend!

We have resided on Lookout Mountain for the past 17 years. The majority of our professional careers have been in hospitality. The farm and the mountain have provided an excellent environment for raising our family, as we all enjoy hiking, gardening, mountain biking, and horses. With both of our children now grown, we decided it was time to share the farm with others who we hope will enjoy it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Quaint cottage tucked away on over 12 acres. The cottage sits on a hill overlooking horse pastures and farm animals. The farm is home to two Pigmy goats, (Daisy & Sadie) several chickens, two dogs (Piper and Boyd), a mini horse (Willow) and a horse (Sport). All the animals are kept fenced in, except the dogs.
