We loved everything about the place. We will definitely return and stay for longer. The room and property were excellent. We loved the outdoor area and the overall location. The hosts were very welcoming. I'd give it a 10 out of 10.
Wow! I found a gem. The Lodge is right in the middle of everything I wanted to do in the Nantahala Gorge. Comfortable room, awesome amenities and even more friendly host! Loved sitting around the fire with Shane. I’ll be back!
I stayed here a few weeks ago for the first time and fell in love. Totally secluded from the bustle and Shane and Hughlena and staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. They started the fire pit without me or any guest asking. Last weekend I stayed with a group of buddies during our annual Trout Fest trip. The rooms are spotless and fully equipped. I slept like a rock. We all loved our stay and will be back this summer! Thanks for the amazing time. God bless.
Decided to schedule a last minute trip to celebrate my mom's birthday and came across this cute Motel. The owner's have taken great care to make sure we had everything needed for our stay. It had everything needed inside and plenty of outdoor seating on the front porch or by the fire. Truly a gem and very convenient to everything! Would highly recommend it.
The pictures don't do the property justice honestly. We were blown away by the overall size of the property and the number of amenities onsite. Truly one of the best places to stay in the area.
This property is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. The rooms were very confirmable with the four of us. The showers were amazing with the rainfall showerhead. The fireplaces and grills was a wonderful addition that allowed us to spend time together, not in front of the TV. The owners were so accommodating. Just something I don't believe I read before we booked, not a problem but good to know, the property is on a step hill. There is one handicap place to park but you are parking below the cabin and climbing up to it ever time you leave. They do have some stairs built to get you up the hill and they allow you to pull up and unload just not park there. We loved the place and hope to stay again next year.
