Newly constructed in 2017 with 16’ x 24’ floating dock on the pristine waters of Clear Lake. Gorgeous Kitchen with quartz counters, Kitchen Aid appliances, and quarter sawn Oak cabinetry. Stellar 2-bedroom, 2 bath home with open floor plan, cathedral ceiling, expansive windows, one of a kind staircase and a custom indoor gas fireplace. Large covered porch, gas grill, fire pit, and great fishing right off the dock. 55” 4K curved screen television with Bose surround sound in main living area, flat screen television with Bose surround in Queen bedroom, King sized bed in loft bedroom with additional full size futon sleeper. This home accommodates a maximum of 5 people. Exceptionally clean home in an incredibly quiet location. Far away from any busy roads, but only two miles to restaurants food & fuel. Small 2 person fishing boat with electric motor and canoe included with rental if desired. Kayak rentals can be delivered directly to your door! If you have your own boat, we will accommodate one guest boat up to 20' for a reasonable daily docking fee. There is a launch area nearby. Home has radiant floor heat, gas stove, microwave, washer & dryer. We provide an amenity of Fresh Flowers, Fresh Fruit, Snacks, a Bottle of Wine, 12 Beers & 12 Bottled Waters with each rental. Watch the sunset from the porch, decompress from the hectic daily grind and get “clear” at this peaceful waterfront lake home. Welcome to Clarity Place!

Best Relaxing Vacation

This was our best vacation yet! Everything was perfect from booking to check in and out. The home was even better than the photos! The home was clean, well maintained and everything about it was perfect. The owners were extremely kind leaving us flowers and a few other goods and any questions were answered quickly. Loved our stay. Loved the lake. Loved the home, neighborhood and everything about this place. We can’t say w nice things!! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Wonderful lake home!

The home was so clean and comfortable! Communication with the host was amazing. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and fruit. A beautiful bottle of wine was left for us! The hosts literally have thought of everything for a comfortable stay! Our teen granddaughter had the time of her life fishing in the beautiful lake along with her grandpa! We did not want to leave and are already talking of our hopes for another trip there! Beautiful home, beautiful lake; and hosts that we can not say enough good things about!

You Won't Be Disapponted at Clarity Place!!

If you are looking for a place with amazing lake views, quiet, and good fishing then look no further. My family and I enjoyed our stay! Wish it could of been longer! The extra touches they put into things was appreciated and have not experienced at any other rental. The communication was exceptional and I appreciate the extra information that was given on one of the sites we visited. Highly recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful get away!!

Perfect stay right on the water

This home was beautiful and a perfect location for a summer vacation with my family. Communication with Ken was easy and prompt and he provided all information needed to make sure we were prepared for our stay! Accommodations were above and beyond with snacks and drinks provided as well. Nothing beat waking up with the lake right outside the front door! Definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Peaceful Clarity

We had a fantastic time staying at Clarity on C lear Lake. We stayed for a week and visited the 1000 Islands area on the St. Lawrence Seaway. Alexandria is a close 15 minute drive to get a boat tour. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. It is so beautiful to just relax and look out over the lake. My family enjoyed taking out the canoe and the small boat as well. We absolutely would come and stay here again. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Amazing lake house trip with family

There are not enough positive things I can say about this house and the hosts. My kids had the best time fishing, canoeing, swimming, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. We spent every moment outside! The hosts were extremely communicative and kind, and made the stay that much better. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this property!

This property was amazing. The property and owner exceeded our expectations. The place was so clean, had amenities that everyone enjoyed, and the owners added some nice touches that made us feel right at home. The lake was very quiet and beautiful. Exactly what we were looking for. The owner communicated with us and quickly responded to texts. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to go back!!

Returning renter - another great stay.

Ken is a very responsive owner. Communication is a 6 out of 5! The location is amazing. The lake is really great for fishing; much better than the ADK lakes we’ve stayed at. Everything you need is provided including a canoe, kayak, and two small boats with trolling motors. What other property offers that? My friends’ only complaint was the lack of a coffee table or dining room table to play cards on. But there’s a big kitchen island and you can make it work. Great house. Great location. Great owner. Rent with confidence; you won’t be disappointed.

One of the Best

We had a fantastic eight days staying at this magnificent house on Clear Lake. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. The location on this small, quiet lake was perfect for relaxing, wildlife viewing, or water activities. The house is a short drive from Alexandria Bay or Clayton, both great towns for history, sightseeing, fishing, or enjoying the many restaurants on the St. Lawrence Seaway. The owner also recommended a fishing guide for us and we had a beautiful day on the St. Lawrence River catching smallmouth bass. The guide provided us with a delicious shore dinner on an island preserved as a State Park with some of the fish that we caught. Its hard to put into words how enjoyable it was every evening sitting on the shore of this spectacular lake waiting for that perfect sunset. We have stayed in VRBO properties for ten years now, and this was truly one of the best.

Bafford family fishing trip

This was an outstanding property, and the owners were wonderful. Was well worth the price and would highly recommend it for any adult fishing vacation. The scenery was beautiful, and the home was super clean and comfortable. Never caught so many fish on any trip before.

Perfectly-peaceful sanctuary get-away for Anniversary Weekend!

This property was amazing! Beautiful! Clean! And Ken communicated with us clearly and welcomed us generously making us feel like family. He supplied us with a fruit basket, champagne and for our anniversary! He also supplied beer and goodies for us which was much appreciated. He left detailed information so everything was clear and even different pamphlets with things to do in the area. The property itself is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. We already told him we want to make our second trip back in the near future. I would highly recommend them!

Peaceful Retreat in Northern New York

Privacy and seclusion is exactly what this home offers, not to mention a lake (almost) all to yourselves! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be returning for another visit in the future. Peaceful Paradise!

We thought the pictures of the listing looked great, but to see this property in person was beyond our expectations! It was very clean & everything was very well appointed in this beautiful home! It is literally the perfect location for anyone looking to refresh & recharge & the stunning views just add to this wonderful getaway! The hosts were beyond gracious & were very quick to answer any questions we had. We were welcomed with gorgeous flowers, drinks & snacks & a list of restaurants & things to do in the area! Quiet Lakeside home

Beautiful house on a quiet lake. Private lot, screened from neighbors, with a lot of lake frontage. Great dock, fire pit area, and covered back porch. We loved catching fish off the dock, swimming, and the distance between houses. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Family of Five

When I started to search for places to stay in the Alexandria Bay area, I found that the hotels really did not accommodate a family of five unless I wanted to rent two rooms (children ages 12 - 14). I am so thrilled to have found Ken's place! It was more than we hoped for in a private location with lakefront views. The home is very clean and is filled with personal touches that make you feel welcome including flowers, complimentary snacks, beer, water, and wine. We were not on top of each other like we would have been at a hotel, and we really enjoyed using the boat and the canoe to fish and explore the lake. We rented a kayak from The Wandering Kayak which was very reasonably priced. The home is located not far from Alexandria Bay and Clayton. It was a great homebase for sightseeing. Ken was extremely responsive and accommodating. We made memories here that we will always treasure.

Lake stay!

Beautiful property. House is lovely and comfortable. Welcome basket and flowers were a welcome touch! Pictures do not do this justice. Ken and Pauline were fantastic. Very quick to respond! The lake is beautiful. Lots of fish. We love this place. Very serene. It was fun to canoe and kayak. Close to Alexandria bay. We will definitely be back.

Year 10 of guys trip - best stay so far!

For the past 10 years, my friends and I have been taking an annual trip to golf and fish. This has been the best stay we’ve had in those 10 years. Ken is an excellent owner! He’s extremely hospitable, friendly, accommodating, and responsive. You can tell he takes pride in making it very comfortable and clean. He also goes above and beyond any reasonable expectations by providing fresh fruit, beer, water, s’mores, and other small details that add to the overall experience. He even gave me great recommendations on how to fish the lake and where to golf. The small, fishing boat and canoe that were included in the rental, made the fishing experience even better. However, we had to stick to the dock for the first two days because the wind was too strong for just a trolling motor. It didn’t matter though because the fishing right off the dock was absolutely amazing. We caught tons of bass (including a few fatties), panfish, and even catfish right from the dock. After the wind died down we took the boats out and caught more bass and a smaller pike. Hooked a large pike too but line snapped because we didn’t have braided leaders. Anyway we can’t wait to go back and you’d be crazy not to rent this place. I would recommend an air mattress if you have three guys or more.

Hello and thanks for considering our property. We are a small tightly knit family from the capital district area of New York. As we begin to posture for retirement we are back and forth between homes and this opens some opportunities for property rentals at our lake house. We have extensive careers in the hospitality industry so your peace and comfort are always important to us. We have been a host family for foreign exchange students and LPGA players throughout our years, so hospitality runs deep in our veins.

Why they chose this property

You will find our home to be very peaceful and private. Many lake homes and river homes are tightly packed next to each other with very little space between. Our lake home offers 200 feet of frontage, with the nearest neighbor over 300 feet away, with natural wooded partitions. The home is only 5 years old, impeccably kept, with a contemporary but cozy feel. The lake is small, so the water is warm, and the conditions are almost always very calm. The lake contains Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass, Sunfish & Perch and the fishing is very good. A small 2 person fishing boat with electric motor is available as well as a canoe for those that may want to venture out on the water. If you have your own boat we can accommodate vessels up to 22 feet in length for a reasonable daily docking fee. There is a launce site less than a mile away, and the water at the dock is between 3-4 feet deep. We provide a "Welcome Amenity" with each rental including fresh cut flowers, Fresh Fruit, Assorted Snacks, a bottle of wine, a six pack of beer & some bottled waters. We purchased the home specifically because of its peaceful setting, and it has not failed us in that regard. Bring a book, bring your guitar, bring whatever helps you decompress, and get ready to "Get Clear" at Clear Lake! We look forward to hosting you!
