I stayed at a lodging in Marathon, which is in the middle of my trip to Key West. It was a quiet and comfortable place to stay. It was a little narrower than it looked in the picture, but it was fine for staying with family.
We had a pleasant stay. The location is good with access in the middle of the Keys. We enjoyed the easy access to Curry Hammock State Park and kayak rental. Also there is good walking in the neighborhood, important to us seniors. The condo is comfortable. If you plan on cooking you will need to bring basic ingredients and morning caffeine supplies.
Wonderfull stay no issues. I did want to recommend for the owner to update kitchen items. There isn't any oven safe dishes and the pots/pans are in bad shape. The kitchen isn't set up for cooking meals. Having young children I needed to keep a regular diet with dinner meals. It was a challenge in this unit. The area is very small and there is no where to store any food. They also didn't have anything to use for cooking in the oven. Just keep that in mind when planning on cooking here. Other than that everything was wonderful and we enjoyed staying there.
The villa at Duck Key was a great location. Easy to find, and easy check in. The view from the deck was beautiful and the villa was very clean and comfortable for two couples. We would definitely stay there again.
We stayed here for one night on our way back from Key West. The house was clean and looks exactly like the listing picture and description. I would stay here again!
This unit was spotless and laid out in a very efficient way. The views from the back porch and upper porch off the bedroom are gorgeous, especially for sunsets. The stairs to the bedrooms on the upper level are high however, for people that have trouble with stairs, it could be difficult. We loved the cleanliness and the location, which was close to Marathon and restaurants.
Stayed April 12-19. Great view and beautiful sunsets. Quite and peaceful. We found it a little small for four adults. It was a ways out to do things in the lower keys, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves. Checking in and out a breeze. Frank was easy to work with and always answered our questions promptly. Would we stay again? Yes.
This place was great. Great view, great location and great communication. The two rooms worked out well for us and our infant; who ended up in the master because our pack & play wouldn't fit in the other room. We spent most of our time relaxing on the deck and walking along the water. The mini beach a few yards away was lovely but we found an even better one tucked around the corner of the block.
Would definitely recommend this place for a couple or small family looking for a little getaway.
The location and views from the balcony were perfect. The place was nicely laid out but it really is just a place to sleep. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. The hand soap was a cheap hand soap that was poured into a dove container and the laundry detergent that was there smelled foul. Additionally, there was a lot of little black hairs all over the bed sheets in the guest bedroom. Tv in the master is so outdated it’s practically not useable.
This villa was the perfect place for our Florida Keys get away. Beautiful views & quiet. Even though the weather was less than ideal, we were able to sit out on the porches and enjoy the views because they are covered. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing I would have added was a cookie sheet but maybe I’m the only one who cooks occasionally on vacation. LOL! The location was perfect. We were able to get to Key West in an hour and 15 minutes or Key Largo. Since it is in the middle, you can experience all the Keys have to offer with ease. My husband and I are already planning on returning next year. Thanks for a great time!
NOT Hawks Cay, this property is located at Hawks Cay but J could not go to Hawks Cay unless I paid for a room, which I did and it doubled the expenses I had planned for this trip…. Unacceptable, that should be clearly stated in the property description ! ! No pool is not accurate, since many other townhomes in the community has or has not a pool! But no pool DOES NOT mean no access to Hawks Cay which is why I booked it in the first place.
Also, the property descriptions reads sleeps 5, and the goth bed is a sofa !!! A sofa is NOT a bed !!!
It was not a pleasant experience at all, I feel like I was ripped off

We loved this 2 bedroom villa. Neatly appointed, with washer and dryer. Spent our mornings drinking coffee on the porch watching the water, birds and iguanas. Top and bottom floor porches facing he water. Close to restaurants and activities. Pretty neighborhood for walking. Frank was helpful and quick to reply. We would absolutely stay here again.
