We enjoyed to the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and the easily walkable access to a public park with tennis courts (and live music on our first night).
The house was perfect for our girls weekend! It was easy access to downtown, but a nice quiet neighborhood. The pool was a great addition and hard to find in the area!
If this property could sleep 10, i don't know where they would all sleep. Lots of old steps. Not necessarily for people that have a hard time going up and down steps. One bathroom was in basement,
A nice house and neighborhood. We stayed in November so the pool wasn’t an option for us. The home is older and has some usual older home things with it. The stairs are quite narrow and there are some creaking noises when someone walks above you. The kitchen was nice and well furnished. The game room wasn’t as good as the listing made it seem but we made it work. There are a LOT of cubbies and drawers in the house which is cool but nothing is labeled so we just happened to find an air mattress upstairs that was able to be used in a room that we assume is considered a bedroom but it just had a futon and nothing else in it. Overall a good stay and would stay again.
We had a good stay at this house and the location was centrally located and in the general vicinity to McKennan Park and downtown. It was a very easy drive to the airport. The house was clean and comfortable and nice and warm despite the frigid temperatures outside. Parking was plentiful. The only concern was the sleeping arrangements. While the listing indicates that it sleeps 10, it's probably closer to 7. The futons weren't really functional for sleeping and the air mattresses weren't in great working order. Fortunately the kids are flexible and could sleep and we could figure it out, but this would not work in terms of sleeping arrangements for more than 6 adults. I believe this could be solved by adding more beds or pull out couches. Otherwise, we loved the house and the Christmas tree was a lovely added touch for the holidays! It's obvious that the house is cared for and kept in good condition!
We loved the pool, which was the main reason we rented this house. Game room is more for lttle kids, we had 9 years and up. 2nd full bath is in the basement which we did not use. Deck above pool needs some major work. Very spongey when you walk on it. We sat around the pool and only used the deck to eat so the kids didn't get water in the house. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.
Was a great stay and the house was beautiful.
Only issues were the front door was extremely hard to open so we had to call late, but they came over and addressed it right away. Just had to use a lot of force to get it open each time.
Dishwasher did not drain so we had to leave that as is.
Overall great place and Casey was very quick to respond.

Center House
Decent location. House is very old (with very narrow stairs, that are carpeted but very slippery. There was a fall in our group). But beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. Basement stairs have no handrail and are very steep so caution must be taken by anyone using those, actually any of the three staircases. Pool is great and grand kids loved it...very clean. Deck is very saggy and soft in spots. It is a synthetic material but really needs work. House overall is spacious and the attic rec room was great fun for kids. Location was great for walks to McKennan park and downtown as well as getting around by car. All in all, other than "old house" issues that are common in " turn of the century" homes, Center House was good for our large group.
The house is listed as sleeping up to 10 and we had planned to have 10 coming for the weekend. Due to life happening, only 6 ended up coming and we were thankful for that or sleeping would have been super uncomfortable.
The only comfortable bed was in the master bedroom which technically could sleep 3 but not many adults want to sleep 3 to a bed.
The bottom bed of the bunk beds the mattress sinks in the middle and the full/queen bed in the second bedroom was very unstable and the mattress is awful. Everyone who slept on the bed (and we took turns over the 3 nights we were there) woke up very sore in their hips and back.
The futons listed for sleeping were not great either and none of use would have chosen to sleep on them, especially as adults.
The pool was nice to have and the main reason we chose this location but there is a large tress that shades the pool most of the afternoon which was a major bummer. The deck is also extremely warped and felt unsafe to walk on.
Overall we were disappointed based off of why we chose this house. Would not stay again or recommend.

Pool was awesome. Deck is dangerous!!
We LOVED the pool!!! So fun!! That is definitely what you’re paying for with this pick.
The deck is dangerous! Literally could fall through if you stepped on a few of the spots that need work!! And they just cover it with rugs. Not safe!!!
My 85 year old grandma struggled with this location, it’s NOT ment for elderly or handicap. No main floor bedroom and lots of steps so keep that in mind if you have someone who can’t do steps.
Needs updates inside the house and steps outside.
But if your a fun younger group that just wants to spend your days in the pool. You’ll love this!!!
There was NO TV on the back deck as shown in pics, which was a super bummer for us, again we had our elderly grandma with us and planned to let her sit on the deck and watch us swim while watching tv, when I asked the owner she simply responded with it’s not listed on the amenities. (Well then don’t post pics of it as if it’s there!!).
I’ll give this a 3 simply because of the updates needed on the deck and the rest of home and no tv on deck as shown in pics.
If I was rating just the pool I’d give it a solid 5!! Super fun.
The house was as advertised. We were in town for a wedding and had a group of family stay at the house; it was perfect for what we wanted. Due to the time of year (March) we didn't utilize the pool, but the backyard would be a great place in the summer months.
