About this property

Absolutely central & quiet - in Oldenburg everything within walking distance in the best area

We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible in a pleasant, family atmosphere.
The apartment is one of 3 apartments in an original Oldenburg doghouse (certain architectural style in the early 1900's). The apartment is located in the bright basement and the garden can be shared. My wife and I live in the apartment above. We are happy to give tips on places to visit, restaurants, etc. On the upper floors there is another apartment with three rooms, which can be rented separately. So far we have had really nice and interesting guests.

This apartment is furnished with approximately 80m ² surface, bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and has the following equipment:

Sehr schöne Fewo

Wir haben eine sehr saubere und schön eingerichtete Wohung vorgefunden, die an einer Fahrradstraße nahe der Innenstadt liegt. Die Lage ist sowohl für Fahradtouren wie für das fußläufige Erreichen der Innenstadt geeignet. Ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der uns einen speziellen Wunsch schnellmöglich erfüllt hat. Aus unserer Sicht sehr zu empfehlen!

Eine schöne Woche in Oldenburg

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Bärbel ist sehr nett bei der Wohnungsübergabe , die Kommunikation mit ihr wegen der Anreisezeit klappte hervorragend. Die Lage ist ideal für viele Ausflüge.

Eine Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Oldenburg! Die Wohnung war in tadellosem Zustand, mit kleinen Accessoires, die einem das Gefühl gaben, sofort einziehen zu wollen. Richtig schön wohnlich und gemütlich, die Betten und das Sofa warn sehr bequem. Die Schlüsselübergabe war wunderbar und freundlich organisiert, trotz unserer Verspätung. Bei meinen zwei Rückfragen habe ich immer schnell eine freundliche Antwort bekommen und auch die Übergabe zur Abfahrt wurde mit einem Lächeln und Anekdoten begleitet. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat absolut gestimmt.

Kalte Wohnung in kalter Jahreszeit

Wir hatten im Sept. 22 von Sonntag bis Sonntag gebucht. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Souterain des Hauses, erreichbar über ein altes unrenoviertes Treppenhaus mit steiler Holztreppe. Die Aussicht nach vorne war durch die direkt vor dem Fenster geparkten KFZ´s getrübt und nach hinten in den Garten durch die Terrassentreppe der EG-Wohnung eingeschränkt. Die abendliche Parkplatzsuche in den umliegenden Straßen wurde z. T. zur Herausforderung und Ärgernis, da kaum frei Plätze zur Verfügung standen. Ab Mittwoch war der Vermieter verreist und stellte uns glücklicherweise einen der Stellplätze vor dem Haus zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung war während unseres Aufenthaltes unbeheizt. Ab Donnerstag fielen die Außentemperaturen auf höchsten 12 - 15 Grad (Angaben d, Wetterbericht) und die Wohnungstemperatur fiel auf 17 - 18 Grad (Thermometer d. Vermieters). Wir informierten am Freitag die Kontaktperson und baten die Heizung umgehend an zu machen. Nachdem bis Samstagmorgen keine Rückmeldung erfolgte, brachen wir den Urlaub ab und fuhren nach Hause. Auf meine e-mail- und WhatApp-nachrichten erhielt ich bisher keine Rückmeldung. Wir werden diese Unterkunft sicherlich nicht vergessen.

Oldenburg ist eine Reise wert

Sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem kurzen Weg in die schöne Innenstadt mit vielen Geschäften, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist und haben unser Auto nicht vermisst.

Absolut zufrieden

Sehr nette und freundliche Vermieter !!! Die Wohnung ist sehr groß, und gut eingerichtet. Alle nötigen Küchengeräte sind vorhanden. Die Lage ist sehr gut,ca. 900 Meter von der Fussgängerzone entfernt, und doch ruhig und von Bäumen umgeben. Parken in der Nähe war oft ein wenig mühseelig, aber immer irgendwo möglich. Brötchen und kleinere Einkäufe zu Fuß erreichbar. Oldenburg ist eine faszinierende Stadt, Geniale Wegeplanung, viel Grün in der Stadt, super Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gutes Essen. Was will man mehr?

Dissapointing

Great Location in the City Center. BUT Serious upgrades are necessary in the whole place. Due to not heating the basement, the place was musty and even with opening windows, it came always direct back. The laminate flooring is in bad shape due to water damage? The bathroom is a 1950 standard and this was one of the reasons we left a day early. There was a washer, but the owner explained to us, we can only run it, when we are there due to the chance of flooding! Upon check in, later as we had asked for, the most important point was, how to close the entrance quietly, so they are not disturbed by the noise from the door. The whole entry area needs seriously work, with towels stuffed in a wall, etc. The place is advertised with a parking spot. We were told to drive around in the neighborhood to find street parking, which is "always" available. 2 days prior to our departure, my wife and I talked about this parking situation at breakfast; 30 minutes later we were offered a parking spot for the day in front of the house. The next day we parked there again and it did not seem to be a problem for him. He had offered us a bicycle to drive around, but we did not use it. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay.

Super zentrale Wohnung

Super Gastgeber , Wohnung war für uns sehr zentral und sehr sauber . Wir würden gerne wieder kommen . Auch unser Vierbeiner hat es sehr genossen :-)

Kinderfreundlich und zentrale Lage

Wir haben eine angenehme Woche in Oldenburg verbracht, die Wohnung ist kinderfreundlich und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. An unserem Aufenthalt hat uns besonders die zentrale und doch ruhige Lage gefallen, und der sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Gerne wieder!

Schöne Tage in Oldenburg

Die Wohnung, besonders aber die Gastfreundschaft waren hervorragend. Auf Fragen und Anliegen wurde umgehend reagiert. Absprachen wurden eingehalten und die Erreichbarkeit war stets gegeben. Alles lief unkompliziert ab. Die Lage, sowie die Größe der Wohnung ist sehr gut. So macht Urlaub Spaß!

I felt like at home

It is a spacious ground floor flat (a Little bit downstairs) , very luminous (a lot of Windows in every room) and very comfortable. The owners, Maik and his wife live upstairs. Maik is really nice and he helped me in all I needed. They are very trustworthy and trusting people and they made me feel like an old neighbour of them. The situation of the house is perfect, because it is near the centrum (10 minutes walking) but at the same time it is very quiet. The bus to the university is 7 minutes walking from the house. The nearest supermarket is not very close walking but 7 minutes by cycle. But I think this is a "problem" of Oldenburg itself, because there are not many supermarkets (or food shops) inside the city, compared to other cities. Another advise for this supermarket is to prepare cash, because they don't admit the usual visa card or MasterCard (it is the only place I found in Oldenburg with this problem) The city is really pretty. both the centrum and the parks.

Highly recommended!

Situated in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood within walking distance from the centre of Oldenburg,this accommodation is much more spacious than shown on the internet.It is fully equipped,very light and clean with a large garden.Since Oldenburg is a great place for cycling 2 bicycles are at your disposal as well. Contact with our host was very punctual and correct,all necessary info was readily available! This is a great place to stay!
