Beautiful view but this unit needs work!

This unit needs work. When we first arrived, we were shocked to find the unit completely unlocked. Thankfully everything was okay, but you just never know. As we were getting settled in, one gentle pull and the oven handle came off. We called Vacasa and someone came out and stated that he would have to order a part which of course would not be there to do any good for our stay. The dishwasher door would not open all the way, so I was afraid to even use it at all. There was blood on the shower curtain, the bathtub drained too slowly and the cabinet door under the bathroom sink was broken. We would love to stay in the area again, as we loved that we could walk to some restaurants and were away from the crowds, but I will not book this room and will be reluctant to book any other unit in this condo in the future.

Needs work. Has potential.

Lots of problems with unit. We love Perdido but not this unit. We had problems with locks, tv, Wi-Fi, shower, kitchen, bed, bathroom fan, floor cleaning. We go to this area several times a year - this was worst condo experience that we’ve ever had. The unit has potential- beautiful view, pool and beach access. Building has some rust that needs addressing also but overall the unit itself needs some attention. I can give more details if needed. Personally I think some type of compensation should be offered.

Needs Attention

Water pressure in shower was good. Bed was firm and comfortable. I There is a list of items we have for the owner to make right. Definitely the flooring is risky due to at least four place of loose and torn material Air conditioner cover plate on the balcony falls off at will Bathroom cabinet door below sink was only propped up by the door next it so it half falls off when you open it Bedroom TV remote does not work at all. Even with new batteries Lamp bulb close to slider door does not function. Entry door sticks open and scrapes the floor. This is not the usual experience we have when we stay in this area.

The facility and condo are beautiful. We loved the complex with everything being under one roof. Wasn’t very busy when we arrived but as the week got closer to spring break the elevator traffic increased. We still never had to wait long to get an one. Very fast elevators. Our only negative is that the 2 additional rooms did not have dressers in them. Our kids and grands lived out of their suitcases for 8 days. No place to put your things so they were all over. We couldn’t believe it! Even the cheapest hotels give you a dresser and this is not cheap!!

Served it's purpose

The view of the ocean was great. Condo was in a good location. The room was clean. I gave three stars because the oven handle kept coming off, the smoke alarm in the bedroom was hanging off the wall, and the unit needs new flooring. Otherwise it would've been 5 stars. We would stay at the complex again for sure and would choose this unit as a secondary option.

Beautiful Views

The view was Beautiful!! Beds were super comfortable. Just some maintenance issues. The flooring was missing in spots. A rug was used to cover up duck tape that had been used to cover a part of the floor, the refrigerator did not stay closed, the bed frame wasn't attached to the bed, and the TV wouldn't connect to the wifi even though it said it would. However it was clean Check in and out was super easy. Vacasa made everything easy.

Great Little Condo

This updated condo is very cozy & cute. The only negative I saw were a couple of areas with the flooring that need repair, but other than that this condo was updated, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. I enjoyed my stay, and I would stay here again!

Beautiful stay

Great stay in Perdido Key. The condo was well equipped, clean, and with a great view of the Gulf of Mexico via the balcony. The beach was beautiful and not too crowded. Excellent place to rest and enjoy a beautiful beach.

Beware of keylock system!

I would have gladly overlooked a few minor things we weren't thrilled about because the positives of this unit far outweighed the few negatives, but one thing that needs to be addressed is the keylock system. We arrived and were able to simply enter our code and turn the doorknob to enter (which we learned later meant it was not locked properly before we arrived.) When we tried to leave for the first time we could not lock the door. We tried every way we could think of, and even had other guests try to no avail. I sent a message to Vacasa to get instructions and was given the wrong information repeatedly by multiple people via live chat, texts and phone calls. FINALLY after over 4 hours we were given the correct instructions. This was not only frustrating but ruined the first day of our short vacation. Communication needs to be better, Vacasa. Please provide the correct information to your future guests!

Endless Beach!

This couple truly was mesmerized by this beachfront property! We had everything we needed AND we're centrally located to eateries, shopping and phenomenal State Parks! Besides our waterfront patio above a pool and sugary white beaches was the crispy white linens and the cold crispy A/C! We cannot wait to return!

very clean condo with stunning gulf views

The condo was very clean and the view of the gulf was amazing! Also, it was cold outside when I visited, but the walls on the balcony kept all of the wind out, that I was actually able to site in shorts and a tank top on my balcony in the sun and it felt amazing whereas I would have frozen if I went out on the beach. November, what a great month to visit and 0 crowds on the beach. It was like my own private oasis. Will book again with Vacasa and stay in unit 24!

Our visit.

Nice place, nice beach and centrally located. The place was very clean and very livable. Had a chance to relax very nicely. Enjoyed driving around and found many wonderful restaurants.
