The property was located in a nice quiet neighborhood but was an easy walk to the downtown area. Enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee in the morning. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Had everything we needed.
Perfect location to one of the best mountain towns
Wonderfully located only 15 min. walk from downtown Black Mountain, this cute condo was perfect for my friend and doggo and I to stay for an extended weekend! Would highly recommend staying here just so you can experience being so close to one of the best towns ever! Not far from Asheville either if a bigger city is your scene/style!
This was our second time coming here and we absolutely love this little condo! It’s close to town and has everything you could need for a weekend away. The only downside is the early check-out but overall, great place!
It was an amazing place to stay. Plenty of space for me and my husband. All the amenities you needed. Walking distance to the shops and very close to Asheville.
We came to Black Mtn to visit my husbands family. First time we have ever brought my mom to NC. She loved the house and it was perfect for the 3 of us. Close to all the shops down town. It was also a great place for our dog to have space to play in the cute little back yard area! It was very clean and so cute!
We really enjoyed our stay in Black Mountain at this cute, little rental! It was conveniently located close to town, which was a huge plus after long days driving/hiking. The apartment itself was clean and had all the necessary amenities one would need (a blow dryer has been added so disregard one of the reviews below)! The queen bed was extremely comfortable! Overall, great rental for a fun weekend exploring the NC mountains!
My husband and I along with our fur babies stayed over a long weekend. The home was perfect, clean, comfortable and everything you could need. The location was great you can walk to town. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. I hope to return. Cheryl, Leo, Sadie and Bentley
I truly enjoyed my stay at this rental. It was exactly as stated. The bed was so comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. Sitting outside in the evenings was wonderful. Communication was surperb and check in was easy. The location was within walking distance to a lovely town. And so many places to hike. Everyone in Black Mountain was so friendly. I will definitely consider staying here and visiting this area again.
This property was perfect for our family! It was so clean and close to everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have a fan in the bedrooms because the AC is in the living room and the bedrooms felt a little warm sometimes. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!
I wanted to say that my family and I really really enjoyed this property. We loved the location.
So peaceful and quiet. Just 0.6 miles to downtown. So close to everything. Only
a 15 minute drive to Asheville. It felt like home away from home. Very clean and well stocked. All you need to bring basically is your clothes and yourself besides what you want to eat. All is is furnished. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, stove, bath towels and wash cloths, toiletries, paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent, soap, bedding, Wi-Fi, dishes, you name it. For this ranch style property being a apartment building it’s simply amazing. The beauty surrounding it on a peaceful little street seeing the mountains outside the windows and back door is awesome. The birds flying around in the front yard and also being able to take my little dog. I could honestly live there. We stayed from 5/27/22-5/30/22. Had no issues or problems whatsoever. The realtor was very pleasant to work with. We even had the newspaper and little
chocolate candies awaiting our arrival.
I will definitely be staying here again. It was a very bittersweet trip for me as my brother lived in Black Mountain and unexpectedly passed away last July after our trip there to enjoy our vacation with him. His house was just 2 streets up from this property which I didn’t know at the time when I booked it. It wasn’t a coincidence, I don’t believe in that. It was God placing me and my family right where we belonged. 🙌♥️♥️
Thanks again for a wonderful, clean, safe stay,
The Varner Family
This unit is exactly as it's presented. A bit dated and probably too small for four adults. However, it was perfect for me, my husband, and our two kids. We love Black Mountain, and the location was great. Price was perfect. Beds were comfy.
It's an odd building, almost a ranch-style house with four clearly distinct units all in a row. We didn't hear a peep from the other units except when the most precious elderly man came out to scoot his car over to make room for our minivan in the covered parking spot.
We plan to visit Black Mountain often, and we'll definitely look at staying here again.
other than going to take my puppy out to do her business and finding a bear walking past my car in the back yard (i had to quickly grab pup and take her back inside)everything was pleasant. my husband never figure out the Roku and he's a tv watcher (unlike me)
A friend and I stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed it! Adorable town and super close to Asheville.
The flat is in between two other units, but there is plenty of parking and we did not see/hear the other residents. Everything you could need was there! The space was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
Only con was that the flat had one wall AC/heating unit for the whole place. It kept the rooms warm (we had outdoor temps of 45-60 degrees) but I could see it being a bit stuffy during the summer due to no ceiling fans.
I hope to return soon!
Love how close to town this sweet little place is, and the neighborhood is perfectly charming for walking my dog. Thanks, too, for having a bit of coffee, some creamer, snd some sugar there for us that first morning after we arrived. SO nice!

Couple things.
No general instructions on the property, ie, check out time.
No hair dryer.
Generally it was clean, quiet and comfortable. And close to town.
I adored this little house that was both hidden in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to cute shops, restaurants, bars, and parks. It had everything I needed for me and my pup - a big yard, comfy bed, reliable wifi, well stocked kitchen. I would absolutely stay here again if I'm back in the area!
