7 Bedroom Country Estate with Large Private Pool!
Summary:
Welcome to Sawyer Country Estate! This 7 bedroom, 6.5 bath home is on a secluded 2.4 acre lot less than a mile to downtown Sawyer, and minutes to Warren Dunes Beach and the southwest Michigan wineries. Enjoy the large 25'x45' pool (with safety cover) and spacious yard. In the off season, enjoy the proximity to the areas wineries, breweries and distilleries only a short drive away. Southwest Michigan has so many offerings that you'll never be disappointed in what you can do all year!
We offer weekly rentals from early June through late August, Friday through Friday. Off-season rentals are 2-night minimums and holiday weekends are 3-night minimums.
The Space:
The 5,300 SF home offers multiple spaces for groups to gather and plenty of outdoor space for enjoying the pool deck and yard. On nearly 2.5 acres this property caters to larger groups and families looking for a secluded retreat.
WEDDINGS AND EVENTS: While we are not an event venue and its in a residential area. We can host small weddings group gatherings with total event occupancy limited to the capacity of the house, 25 people. We do not allow DJ's or bands. Limited catering is permitted. Guests are responsible for any damage casued by vendors they hire.
BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE CONFIRM UNDERSTANDING OF THE CANCELLATION POLICY. CANCELLATIONS DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS (INCL. COVID-19) ARE NOT EXCLUDED FROM THE POLICY SO GUESTS ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BOOKING. Inspired by our travels around the world and our love for real estate and design, our vacation rental allows us to combine our passions and skills. Molly (an interior designer and artist) and Bill (an architect and real estate developer) are focused on every detail of our properties to make the guest experience as special as possible. When we’re not busy with our four young kids, we build the furniture and create the artwork that furnish our properties. We look forward to hosting your next memorable vacation!
Why they chose this property
Sawyer Country Estate has plenty of room for large groups to spread out and enjoy the country setting while still being walking distance to downtown Sawyer. The main floor living space, with dramatic 10’ ceilings, has two family rooms and two dining tables with seating for 24-25 people. The home has 7 bedrooms with 6 king beds and 12 twins (3 bunk bed + trundle, 1 bunk bed and 1 day bed). Two of the king bedrooms are set up in a family suite configuration. 5 of the 6 king beds have en-suite bathrooms, and all bathrooms have marble finishes with Kohler spa showers.
The home offers multiple spaces for groups to gather both indoors and outdoors. In warmer months enjoy the pool deck and yard. The hot tub and fire pit are open all year!
The patio has two couch areas, multiple dining tables, 12 Adirondack chairs for enjoying the fire pit (firewood included) and a large outdoor bar with 6 bar stools, gas grill, wine and beverage coolers and a 65” TV with multiple streaming options including ESPN+ for enjoying fall football game weekends.

Sawyer Country Estate is like your own private resort! The spacious outdoor area has multiple seating areas and a large outdoor bar with TV for watching your favorite sporting events or TV shows. The large heated pool is open from May through October. As with all of our homes, the interior is a balance of historic charm with modern elegance. Enjoy all of the comforts of a first class hotel with high end mattresses, comfortable linens, plush towels and all of the comforts of your own home.
Our spacious kitchen has brand new appliances and is fully stocked with accessories (tableware for the entire group, pots, pans, knives, Kitchen Aid mixer, blender, etc), oils, spices and everything you'd expect in a chef's kitchen.
The game room in the garage has both a ping pong and pool table for further entertainment!
In the fall, winter and spring, this home caters to girls weekends, friends getaways and families who seek a unique harbor country experience with convenient access to wineries, breweries and distilleries. Sawyer Garden Center is so much more than a place selling flowers – gourmet grocer with a selection of fine wine, spirits and beer, and their home section has many different accessories and clothing. For a first class dining experience, visit Susan’s Restaurant. They are currently open Wednesday thru Monday and walk-in only. Their patio in warmer months is fantastic! In Sawyer, Greenbush Brewery is one of several southwest Michigan craft breweries which offer their own beers on tap plus a really great food menu. Infusco Coffee Roasters is a great place to grab a morning coffee and pastry (if they don’t run out!).
