This serene and private 4 bedroom home overlooks a private pond and sweeping grounds. Tucked away on 5 acres of private land this beautiful large 4 bedroom, 3 and 1/2 bath (2 en-suite) lends itself to large families, groups or a luxurious couples weekend away. Relax or dine in the spacious open living room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, barn wood paneling, hardwood floors and up to ten person dining table. The kitchen is large and welcoming and has everything you need for a dinner party or cocktails in the backyard. There is one bedroom down stairs with an ensuite, and office, and three bedrooms including the master suite on the top floor. Take a short stroll down to the neighboring Hopkins Inn & Vineyard for a glass of wine or a martini overlooking Lake Waramaug. Warren Town Beach is just at the base of the hill for swimming, boating, and BBQs. Ideal location for access to shops, culture, hikes, and fine dining.

My Husband and I are from New York via Australia and Alabama! We love to entertain for large groups, and will always start with a cocktail hour - hence we have glasses for all your beverage choices.
Why they chose this property
We love that the area is both very private and accessible. If you want to retreat into the trees you can, or you can stroll to the vineyard across the street, followed by dinner overlooking the lake at the Hopkins Inn. The area is surrounded by amazing restaurants, vineyards, hikes and cute design stores.
