Our 3BR/4BA cabin (sleeps 8!) is just minutes from all the best attactions and entertainment of the area. Recently upgraded, our cabin awaits you with fully furnished rooms, a bubbling hot tub, pool table, and so much more! And, we have a HUGE backyard, which is perfect for the kiddos!

This cabin is ideal for multi-family gatherings and small groups alike and is perfect for any getaway - so pack your bags -- the mountains are calling!!

Our beautiful cabin is in the amazing Chalet Village located within a mile of Ober Gatlinburg and walking distance to one of the community pools! Hilarious

The cabin was Great no complaints. Great little get away for me and my 5 kids. We got to experience what it was like to have a bear open your car doors and get inside, not once but twice lol. Thank You for new experiences. The cabin was Great.

Cabin in the mountains

This cabin was very clean, in a great location, had many box fans, and we were able to see many bears! Just a heads up, LOCK YOUR VEHICLE DOORS. They will get inside and eat all of your snacks! I was also very thankful for the baby gates and toys there for littles. Great place for families.

Great cabin for the family

The family had a great time at the cabin they enjoyed the pool table, community pool and hot tub and being up in the mountains. It’s within 15 minutes of all the amenities in Gatlinburg. We had one issue but the commutation was great and we were able to find a resolution. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Top of the Mountain

Though no fault of the listing, folks not familiar with the area may want to know it is pretty high up on the mountain with very curvy roads to access it. The location was lovely. The home was clean. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was very nice to use in the morning and though it was ground level, the local wildlife did keep it's distance. We did see a few bears, which was very cool. The only negative was the wi-fi. It was fine for the phones but we could not figure out how to access it for the gaming system we brought along. Thankfully, the teen boys found other ways to amuse themselves. It was a great family home.

2024 Cabin Vacation Stay

First impression when we drove up was it was in a nice location and looked decent. When entering the cabin it looked spacious and clean. However after settling in we noticed multiple issues with this unit such as, ac issues, fan and light issues, exposed electrical wires, broken tv, and the outside grill was in bad shape. I reached out to the propery manage at Avada inc. and was routed through their phone services group. They were very apologetic and promised to get a repair person out as soon as possible. Unfortunately these repairs did not start until three days later and after multiple calls and texts through the VRBO app. I actually requested that the owner call me back through my cell number because the guest services would not give me his number. I never received a call back from Justin and honesty made me feel that their was a lack of "give of dam" on his part. Because of this i was left to communicate through the guest services hot line or through "contact host" in the VRBO app which i believe was filtered by the Avada personnel and not actually the owner. Besides all the issues with the cabin, me and my family made the best of the trip and salvaged our vacation. I believe if this cabin had a thorough inspection prior to each guest stay this could have been avoided. Hopefully our experience and my actions helps the next family to fully enjoy their stay at this cabin without all the hassles.

Welcoming and spacious cabin

Overall, a very impressive home and location for the cost to stay. We had 7 people total that ranged in all ages. The home was spacious enough with several bathrooms (one on each level) and large bedrooms. The main living area is open concept and cozy. There's also a large deck that we enjoyed gathering on and a nice hot tub! We had a hiccup with the refrigerator in the basement. The owner was quick to respond and had someone come fix it right away. My only critique is that the grill was old and did'nt seem to work well. Also, the pool is not on the property, but is only a few minutes drive away. Very nice facility with not only a pool, but basketball, tennis, and several indoor games. The kids had a great time there.

Spacious home with some issues

Cons: The property was listed as having three King beds but upon arriving we found that to be inaccurate -- the house only has two Kings and one smaller bed in the basement bedroom. This disrupted our stay as the other bedrooms were two floors up and we couldn't divide everyone up as initially planned. There were numerous small maintenance issues (lights missing, air conditioning not working, tubs not properly cleaned, etc.) that detracted from our overall stay. Pros: Great location, relatively short drive to Pigeon Forge, downtown Gatlinburg, and the national park. The house is spacious and has ample parking.

Peaceful, Quiet, Absolutely Beautiful yet Still Close to the Attractions

The pictures do not do it justice! It is located in the mountains but that's what makes it so quiet & peaceful. If you want alone time or family time this is the place. We couldn't have asked for better hosts either! Justin was always in contact & sent us a ton of attractions to enjoy along with coupons for those attractions. If you want to be close but not downtown and enjoy a beautiful vacation home with your family THIS IS THE PLACE!! When the time comes this is where we'll be staying again!

My family stayed here for a short trip to Gatlinburg. The home was beautiful and very clean. It was close to everything we wanted to do but still quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Mountain Side Cottage

We had a nice time here. The cottage is very pretty inside as the pictures show. We had a couple of good sunrises over the distant mountains, gorgeous ♡ We had a few issues to which Justin responded promptly to get addressed & we were thankful for that. As far as coming & going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge we found it easier to always use the National Parkway off of Campbell Lead Rd. Left to Gatlinburg & right to Pigeon Forge. Family summer vacation

The process of booking was so fast and always kept good communication! As we arrived evething was clean , rooms where spacios definitely a plus having a bathroom in each room ! Kitchen and living area were our favorite place to be we really enjoyed as a big family never felt crowded enjoyed every space in this home! The community pool was the favorite for the kids !!location of the home is 15min approximately to the downtown Gatlinburg ! On day 2 of our stay we saw a bear crossingtbe road !!! on day 3 on the pool area far across the street we saw some cubs climbing on tree! Great experience over all cant wait to book again!

Bad Communication

Personally messaged owner about room on main floor was informed there was one, on arrival there definitely was not. Meaning my father in law with dementia & mobility issues had to leave early. Response we got was he has “thousands of properties”. Air conditioning upstairs did not work we then received a message that it would be fixed until the day we were leaving. There was only 2 glasses in the cabinets to drink from with 11 guests staying, no frying pan. Glasses and fans were provided late in the night after complaining then again reminding the owner that we still hadn’t received glasses. All pull out couches were falling apart and beds were hard as rocks. The bottom refrigerator also did not work. After talking with his team the owner reimbursed $122…. Not even a nights worth of what we paid…. Beautiful home until You pay attention to detail, will not be revisiting.

Smokey Mountain vac

Our family vacation to the Smokies was a great trip. We had a great time and loved the house that we rented. It couldn’t have been more perfect. We used the fireplaces and hot tub after spending a day roaming the mountains. Having a washer & dryer was a great help so we didn’t have to pack as many clothes. We would love to go back and would definitely stay there again.

Cabin living

The cabin was very well kept. Enjoyed the pool table. All 3 bedrooms had their own nice bathroom plus an extra full bathroom. Very nice place. Road up to the cabin was a little scary. My wife hated the road as it was steep, winding, and no guardrails to speak of. Overall. Happy with, but probably won’t stay at again just due to roads. The managers that oversaw it was extremely helpful and fast to help if needed.

Pros-the neighborhood is nice. Cons-no scenic view of the mountains unless you go out onto the upstairs balcony and stretch your neck out to the left you can see the top of a mountain, there’s no shower in the upstairs bedroom only a garden tub. The cabin had a strange smell while we were there, can’t explain it but not pleasant. Fireplaces didn’t work and no communication from the property manager Dustin after I told him the gas had been disconnected to it back in April (per the maintenance guy who showed up to fix it) so they should have had it working by October when we were there and didn’t offer a credit for it not being available. That is one of the main things I expect to have when choosing a cabin. Had I known this one didn’t have a working fireplace I would have booked a different one. Very disappointed. Overall the cabin was just okay, I’ve stayed in nicer ones for the same price but the lack of communication from the property manager made the whole situation worse and I will never rent a property that is managed by Avada again. The customer service is terrible.

We had a wonderful time at the Modern Rustic. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. It was plenty of room for my family to spread out and enjoy. The pool is right up the hill and very convenient. We saw about 8 bears during our stay. One with her cubs. That was exciting. If you don’t mind a drive high up in the mountains this cabin is perfect. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Had a great time, all questions were answered in a timely manner. Only complaints were limited towels for 12 people, and not having useful items in stock outside of just 1 or 2 when it came to trash bags and toilet paper.
