Golden Feather Getaway (#552) |10 min to Ski - Deck - Golf/AC/ Pool/Hot Tub

Golden Feather Getaway at Tamarron Resort (HighPoint #552) is our studio condo featuring a full kitchen, one full bath with modern updates, and a private deck. It’s situated in a peaceful escape, set amidst the beautiful scenic mountain valley. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

King bed, sleeper sofa, smart TV. The kitchen has a nice sized refrigerator and induction stovetop and toaster oven. Also a dishwasher, microwave, crockpot, waffle maker, french press and coffee pot. There are 2 chairs on the deck facing west views of trees, red cliffs, and the golf course. 2 small deck chairs for young kids are stored in the closet.

Coin laundry in the guest service building in the center of the HighPoint parking lot.
Please note, due to HOA regulations, this unit, and all of the units at Tamarron DO NOT allow pets.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Great stay

Room was great. Bed was comfy. The whole condo was super cute. (Just wish water pressure was better in shower.). That would be my only negative, otherwise it’s a beautiful property. Great views from Balcony. Hot tub and pool were nice as well. :).

Nice for a couple

The condo was perfect for a couple. Comfortable bed and the unit was well stocked . Unfortunately we left a day early because the air conditioner kept breaking/ freezing up. Maintenance tried to fix it but couldn’t. We noticed other aircompressors outside were also frozen. Overall it was a lovely condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly enjoyed our stay with you. Everything was clean and well provided. The only suggestion we would make is to provide something to cover the window on the front door. We had to hang a towel over the window so we could not be seen from the parking lot. Overall, wonderful stay. Thank you!

Loved the room and loved the stay. One thing i would change is two room keys for when my wife was at the pool and i was going into town. I ask the front desk if i could have two keys and he asked why? When i said why he said no.

Tamarron Resort

The apartment was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had everything needed to prepare meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) when we ate at the apartment. Access to the well-equipped gym and pool was included. My only suggestion to the host for improvement is to move the refrigerator hinge from the left side to the right (10 minutes work?).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this rental property just right for our long weekend near Durango. We appreciated the comfortable bed and casual sitting area. It was nice to have a large refrigerator. We didn’t try cooking in the kitchenette. The A/C worked well. We used access to the pool and to Valley Golf Course to add to our fun. When the tv in our unit didn’t function correctly, someone from maintenance came to help us. We do wish there had been a written welcome guide to the property instead of having to use the online guide ( which did not mention trash responsibilities). The person who checked us in at the lodge mentioned trash takeout verbally. She was not very friendly during check-in.

Lovely condo at the Tamarron resort

My mom and I had a great stay in this condo at the resort. Everything was just as pictured and there's a great view out of the patio sliding glass doors. We had one minor problem that was resolved quickly and easily. The condo is about 20 to 25 minutes from Durango so great location if you want to do some touristy things but also want to be out in nature a bit.

Property was very clean. Nice, quite and relaxing. Definitely the right location away from the main crowd, if that's what you're looking for. 17 miles to Durango and 30 to Silverton, makes for a nice drive for activities.

We had a lovely stay in this cozy condo . The kitchen was small but well stocked for light cooking . Unit had good storage for food and clothing so you could unpack and be very settled in . We golfed the Glacier Golf Course on site and it is a beautiful course . Would rent this unit again …

Will Stay Again!

We had a great stay in this well appointed and adorable unit! This property is well taken care of and we appreciated the small, yet noticeable details & upgrades the owners put into it. The only possible improvement that could be suggested is to put a small Keurig coffee maker for k-cups rather than what is there. Maybe it'll be there on our next visit:) Thank-you for a great stay! Such a beautiful area.

Awesome little condo

My family and I stayed 4 nights over the long holiday weekend. Upon check in at the main lodge my family and I were blown away by the beautiful landscape and golf courses. The only small hiccup was the front desk attendant initially didn’t know where the key to the unit was. She found it only after a few minutes of waiting. Once we oriented ourselves and headed up a short drive to where the condo actually is located it was very easy to find. The condo is actually very comfortable and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and my 5-year-old daughter loved sleeping on the couch pullout bed. The back porch was our favorite part of the condo we really loved the view and just being able to sit out back and talk. The pool and fitness center at the lodge was beyond awesome. My daughter loves the pools and hot tub and I really enjoyed the fitness club level gym. All of the staff working at the club were extremely nice and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!
