Cabin was nice. The beds were comfortable. Phil was helpful with any questions we had. The weather was beautiful all week. Downtown Rangley was nice. We rented a pontoon for the day from a boat rental right next to the public’s beach which had a beautiful playground , free public boat launch lots of picnic tables great area. Went up to Quill hill highly recommended Went bowling at Moose alley fun! Lots of places to eat downtown. Not far from down rangley. Lots of things to do or just hangout and play cards at night or games
We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is comfortable but basic. The best features are an excellent kitchen and a windowed porch looking towards the lake. Kudos to the kind owner who stayed in touch with us throughout our stay! Nice place for a family or small group of friends.
The area is gorgeous.
Very new, clean and comfortable. Had a very enjoyable stay. Did some great late-season skiing at Saddleback and enjoyed the great locally-owned restaurants in the area. Simply a great part of Maine, and a great place to stay!
The cottage was perfect for our ski get away! We enjoyed coffee by the wood stove in the morning, the beautiful views of the lake, walks around the grounds, and skiing at nearby Saddleback! We will definitely be back next year.
(8-day stay in August with 4 adults and 2 children.) Rangeley is an amazing spot and the cabin is probably on the best spot on the lake, 15 minutes either way to towns. Paddle or boat along the shore and this property has one of the only, or few, 'beaches' which is perfect for young children. The property has 10 or so cabins with others being built, and none near this cabin. Phil's cabin was better than described - clean, spacious, w/d in lower level, a huge plus. The lake is readily accessible as the cabin is set back just a bit from the original cabins on the property.
It was 87 degrees upon arrival - very unusual - and night one was warm but there were several fans available, necessary in the upper BR (and based on other reviews we brought additional ones). After that, things cooled down quite a bit and we had to close windows other nights. Appliances are brand new and high end. Beds comfortable, plenty of towels.
Check-in and -out very easy. Phil was responsive and helpful - this was our first VRBO rental so I likely had more questions than most people. Always helpful via email or phone.
excellent experience, really happy we booked here. convenient, beautiful location, first-class amenities, exactly what we needed for a busy weekend of bike adventures, activities in rangeley and family hangout.
This was our second time staying at CC Eagle Lodge!
This beautiful cabin is our favorite place to stay when we visit Rangeley. It's comfortable and cozy with plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax! With a short walk to the lake or the lounge to play ping-pong my kids and I love staying here!
Great place to catch the last of the snow in Maine!
We had a lovely stay at Eagle Lodge. The cabin was perfect for 2 couples and in a great location to enjoy outdoor activities. It was also well equipped and we enjoyed finding all that we needed in the kitchen to cook an evening meal. Wonderful visit!
The house was clean, spacious and perfect for our family (6 adults) We enjoyed cooking most of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Host was very attentive. Rangeley is a beautiful area. Highly recommend.
This property is special because the house is as lovely as the hosts are attentive. The location has a peaceful and often dramatic lake view, and the house itself is spotless and well appointed. It is close to Saddleback, and our family thoroughly enjoyed skiing there. And then upon returning "home," we could enjoy cooking, reading, TV, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company. It was completely conducive to doing it all, and there was something for everybody.
House is well equipped to cook and share a holiday meal for 4 with heat provided by wood stove. If you like quiet and private get aways, this is the place for you!
