What a wonderful property, clean, well appointed, great yard for entertaining family and friends, quiet neighborhood, easy check in/out, responsive owners. You could not ask for more in a vacation home. Can’t wait to return.
The house is clean, lovely and well supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we had a pleasant view of the courtyard during every meal. We appreciated the comfortable sofa in the living room. My husband was fine with the king size bed; however, it was too hard for me. We bought a 2-inch twin foam mattress and that worked fine for me. (I checked the other beds, and they were even firmer.) Our favorite spot was outside in the back with a view of the mountains. The patio chairs were very comfortable, and we spent many afternoons at the table reading, playing games, and relaxing as we watched the hummingbirds at the feeder. That is, after I spent the first afternoon cleaning the outdoor furniture. Although the house was very clean, the outdoor furniture and kitchen had a layer of grit. Fortunately, I had some old towels that I used to thoroughly clean the table and chairs. After that, we just had to wipe away the bits of falling leaves. We also liked the quiet location and enjoyed walking up to Sunrise Trailhead with great views of the mountains and desert plants.
