We had a nice time and would definitely visit again. Maybe next time when the snow is melted. Navigating our way to the hot tub was tricky but we managed. Although chopping wood for the fireplace was part of the ambience it proved to be too difficult for our abilities so we ran to town to buy wood. We loved the cabin.
Definitely not what you expect when you pay over 500 for 2 nights.
This was our 2nd time at this cabin and, unfortunately, the experience was not nearly as good as the 1st. Walked into a partially clean cabin; food on the couches & carpet, hair all over the bathroom counter/sink/floor, the dryer was FULL of wet bedding/towels and multiple dishes that we removed from the cupboard had food stuck on them. The water in the hot tub smelled rancid and there was mold on the hot tub cover. Very disappointing as the 1st visit was nothing shy of perfection. The property manager was informed, hopefully this will not be someone else's experience.
Our group of 3 girlfriends had so much fun at this cozy property! We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, relaxing on the sofas while taking in the beautiful views, driving to walk around the nearby sites, and unwinding at the end of the day in the hot tub under the stars. The beds were comfortable and this house had all the necessary amenities! We're already talking about making this an annual trip. A wonderful gem of a property!
The cabin is beautiful, easy to get to and had spectacular views. The entire weekend was fantastic and the fireplace is so cozy at night. Will definitely be renting again!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. The hot tub was the perfect touch. We loved how the property had all the amenities we needed and all we had to bring was our food. Be sure to plan your meals and bring everything with you as the nearest grocery store is about 20 miles away. We loved the location! We would definitely stay again.
Our stay was great, though the master bedroom bed was small. The cabin itself was amazing. The cabin itself was clean, but there were certain spots that were overlooked and missed. But all in all would definitely come back.
Property is as advertised.
Checkin was easy.
Communication with the owner was quick and clear.
Cottage was clean and well stocked with supplies.
Location is great, it's a quiet neighbourhood. Road in front wasn't busy, although we were here during the offseason I think, might be different during the summer months.
View from the front porch is stunning!!
Lots of great hiking trails in the area.
Great experience staying here, would stay here again!
This property was great. The property was clean and quant and just far enough from town. The hot tub was a great touch to help relax. Would stay here again.
The property was comfortable and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay here and lived being so close to the lake that we could just zip up there for a short while to tire out the dogs.
Thank you so much for letting us come by and stay at your place. Thank you for being a dog friendly place!!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities of home. After a day of fishing we relaxed in the hot tub and then enjoyed the spectacular mountain view from the front porch. Darby is only a short drive away. Only regret is we didnt book our stay longer.

Beautiful, quiet relaxing place to stay! Loved it!!
We were greeted by a 2 point buck upon our arrival to the property! He stood there for the longest time which allowed us to get some great pictures. The home was comfortable, clean and was a great stop after riding utvs for 2 days. We hope to go back again for a little longer next time! Only recommendation would be house numbers by the street but minor thing. Thank you for all your quick responses to my questions:)
Great, cozy little cabin with less than 5 min drive to Painted Rock Reservoir and the river right across the street. Beds were super comfy, cabin was very clean, fridge stocked with loads of condiments. Beautiful area that we will be visiting again! We brought our boat and there was plenty of room to park in the driveway. We caught suckers, bull trout, brook trout and west bank cutthroat. All small but still fun to catch.
Very nice property. Really enjoyed ourselves. Kay was extremely helpful!
