Here for a short overnight stay in Portland on our way to Acadia. Space was nice - clean with comfortable beds and clean bath and kitchen. Easy walk to Old Port area. Thank you!
What a great property for our girls weekend in Portland! So close to everything…..waterfront, restaurants, coffee shops, airport, etc. We had a great time. Highly recommend!
Unit was very nice, accurately described, comfortable for a family of four. Parking required a little bit of a walk, but nice to have as street parking was limited. This is an urban setting, like any city there was a homeless population, nothing that could have been done by the owner.
Overall very nice stay, host was very attentive with good communication.
The apartment was in a great location. Our night was less than ideal, however, because the people in the apartment above us started walking around about 4 am and made it impossible to sleep—we could hear their every step. One of the bedrooms had no windows, and became quite hot at night and the door to downstairs didn’t completely close. The parking was also very inconvenient. All in all, it wasn’t the luxury stay we had hoped for.
This is a wonderful little spot in Portland and in a wonderful location! Jason and Megan were great communicators and were very responsive whenever we needed them. They were very accommodating to some last-minute changes on our and and did everything they could to make us comfortable!
Getting in and out of the apartment was very easy.
Their home was very clean and welcoming, and my friends and I had a blast! The listing was accurate and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend Megan and Jason's place if you plan on staying in Portland!
Our family of three and two large dogs (one’s a Great Dane) had a wonderful stay in the condo. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the hosts were extremely responsive. One block away on State Street there’s lots of grass for dog walks, and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. We mostly walked everywhere (Munjoy Hill, Old Port, etc). Like most cities these days, there is a homeless issue, but we did not have any problems. We hope to stay here again, and we highly recommend this spot!
This apartment was amazing! So clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. And best of all, it is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and local sites. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!
We all loved the space, cozy and clean everything we needed in the apartment and a very walkable location.
On a hot night the second bedroom got a little uncomfortable. So, with the AC on and bedroom doors open it was better second night.
We enjoyed our time and would return again!
Weekend in Portland - all fine but the dog barking
The property was very nice and located in a good location. On the surface it appeared clean, but there was quite a bit of dog hair on the furniture and on the floor. A quick sweep of the floor turned a big clump of dust & dog hair.
On the first night of the 2 night stay, we returned to the unit around 9:30pm. There were 2 large dogs in another unit of the building barking non-stop. We immediately contacted the landlord, who is very responsive. He said he would contact the people renting that unit. He got back to us and said that they were on their way back and would be back within 30 minutes. They did not get home until 11:15 PM at which point the dogs finally stopped barking. I will see that the landlord was responsive and apologetic and did what he could, but two hours of non-stop barking late at night was frustrating.
He did contact the dog owners and told them they could not stay the next day if they were going to leave the dogs alone, so they checked out and we had a quiet second night.
Overall, this property has lots of potential to be excellent but just needs to have a little extra attention to detail.
It was a long day working ( I’m an event planner) and my assistant and I decided last minute to stay over. The hosts were super accommodating and created a day of rental link to make it possible. It was so warm and cozy to relax after a long day. The rental was clean, modern and organized as always. Already looking forward to my next stay!
This is my second stay with the hosts. I cannot say enough amazing things about them & the property. They are so kind and accommodating. They communicate throughout the entire stay.
The location is so convenient and easy to access from anywhere.
The property is modern and functional.
We stayed the night after attending the nutcracker show to start off the Holiday season. My family and I enjoyed ending the evening in such a cozy and comfortable sport as a night away home.
I once again highly recommend staying here! You’ll be so glad you did!

My son and I had a wonderful time in Portland and the VRBO rental was a big part of it. Nice property with a great location to visit Portland. Would definitely stay here again.
This is our second stay with Jason and Megan - we really enjoy staying at their properties. The location is so convenient to restaurants, small grocery stores, even a Pilates studio. The parking spot is so convenient to have with all the parking rules in the neighborhood. We love that the apartment was dog friendly, they even had food and water bowls for our furbaby! Megan is so easy to communicate with and check in mid-stay to make sure everything was ok.
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was conveniently located for walking around Portland. We walked to the old port thru the West End neighborhood and then back along Congress Street enjoying the restaurant activity and great shops. The apartment is very well thought out with a great flow. We enjoyed all of the conveniences. Highly recommend this unit and hope to return at some point in the future.
My husband and I travelled to Portland with our 14 yr old, 6 yr old and dog. The apartment was conveniently located on the 1st floor, and about a block from Local 188 - I restaurant I have been wanting to try for years. Furnishing was new and well situated for the space. 2 window AC units that cooled the space more than sufficiently. The home owners were very gracious in reaching out several times to make sure that we had everything that we needed to be happy and comfortable. The space is tight, but was ample for a family of 4, plus a dog. I would definitely reccomend to a family traveling to Portland.
Jason and Megan were great hosts. Walkable to wonderful restaurants and the Portland museum. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Great apartment for 4 people, horrible parking situation.
The apartment is very nicely decorated, all new and very clean. The owners are very responsive, even at 11PM. The dedicated parking is over on another street in a 7 Eleven store parking lot. The dedicated 2 spots is misleading, it's if you get there before anyone else, you are really only dedicated 1 spot. The first day we parked there several homeless people hanging out in the lot and we were very unsure we wanted to leave it there but after a few rounds on the surrounding streets we could not find street parking. The 3 minute walk from the 7 Eleven to the apartment is thru an alley and parking area that we twice saw a homeless man bunking down in with a knife sticking out of his back pocket. In the end no one actually bothered our car or us. Unfortunately, my bumper got caught on the parking spot cement in 7 Eleven and ripped off. I have a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder and apparently spot 7 is not bill enough for a vehicle that large, in order to not stick out I went to far into the spot. We had to duck tape up to get back to NY.
Also, I think 6 adults is to many for the apartment, if you had a few smaller kids probably fine. If the pull out couch is open there is not way to get the the kitchen without going thru one of the bed areas. I gave the apartment itself a good review but the experience was ruined for us, I will not be going back to Portland anytime soon.
The apartment was beautiful and very clean. It had everything you need. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer! There were extra blankets and pillows. I loved that the apartment was on the first floor. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. Check in and out was very easy and the hosts were extremely considerate and communicated consistently (they checked in on us when we arrived late). Great place to stay!
The apartment was super clean, well decorated, and communication with the hosts was so easy. It's also in such a great location for accessing downtown Portland. Would highly recommend!
