About this property

secluded peaceful lakefront 4br/2ba BOOK NOW!

Welcome to Blueberry Lodge, where the days are long, the nights are peaceful, and the memories last forever! Located just 2.5 hours from the cities, this spacious cabin on Blueberry Lake has something for all seasons. Enjoy summers up north? Dive in to the lake (2021, the lake level is so low it is not currently as enjoyable! We are working on improving the beach and hope to have a dock soon) and enjoy water sports with the canoes provided. Enjoy the milder springs and falls? With cool evenings made for bonfires, watch the world either come to life or go to rest for the winter. During the winter, find the soft peace of a world blanketed in snow. Hike through the woods or out on the lake and check for signs of wildlife.

For adventure, head 20 minutes down the road to Park rapids, MN. There, you'll find all sorts of up north activities, tailored to keep you active, dining, exploring, and/or relaxing! The park rapids events calendar will let you know of any special events happening during your stay. https://business.parkrapids.com/events/calendar

Closer to home, you'll find Kahvila, a local restaurant with amazing flatbread pizzas and cinnamon rolls. So far, all who have eaten there have left rave reviews! There's a donut shop for those looking for sweets, a small local grocery store, and a gas station for your fishing supplies. For last minute purchases, there is a dollar general as well.

Attractions nearby: Blueberry Pines golf course, Logging camp/lumberjack breakfast (memorial day-labor day), Lake Itasca/Mississippi headwaters, two inlets lake, heartland trail, character challenge course & ziplines, go fish guide service, evergreen gifts and fun park (laser tag, super bounce, bumper cars, mini golf, climbing wall, outdoor maze), Hubbard county historical museum, park rapids community center (ice skating rentals), north country museum of arts, artists mall of Walker. Huntersville state park (trails, hiking, snowmobiling)

Everything we could have wanted for our vacation. Plenty of space. Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Lots of extras too! Game room, kayak, canoes, firewood. Who could ask for more?? Property manager was helpful and very responsive to our questions and requests. Truly a wonderful place.

Serenity
We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family to stay. The pool table and air hockey in the game room was perfect for the couple of days it rained. The place was very well stocked with everyday items. Exactly as advertised as far as the peacefulness and seclusion. Host handled all questions in a very timely manner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

About the host

Hosted by Blueberry Lake Lodge

Host profile image
Hey there! We are a few families that have been coming up to Blueberry Lake for a few years now! The opportunity came to purchase this property, and we decided to open it up to share the joy of this lake with others! We love the beautiful sunsets, the loon calls at night, the peaceful bonfire atmosphere, swimming up the river and at the sandbar over to the west at the river mouth. We hope you enjoy hanging out in the screened porch, playing games in the hall, and creating new memories.

Why they chose this property

We are outfitting this property with guests in mind. We would love to hear what worked well for you, and what you might have missed. We hope to add more lodging, more flex spaces, and the ability to use it as a multi-family rental very soon! Keep checking for updates like the bunkhouse, a dock, and more beach!

What makes this property unique

It's pretty rare to find a property that has the ability to easily host more than one family, yet still retains that small homey feel. We hope to recreate that ease of hanging out in a quiet location, with enough space to spread the elbows and take all the deep breaths a person needs.
