There are three apartments in the Villa Rosengarten. The apartment "Romantica" is located on the mezzanine floor and is suitable for 2-6 people with 140sqm. The apartment Romantika has a spacious fireplace room, dining room with passage to the large, modern kitchen with island, two bedrooms, a full bath and a guest bathroom, both with rain shower, in the bathroom also a free-standing bathtub. The sheltered courtyard terrace is accessible from the kitchen and from one of the bedrooms. In addition, the terrace surrounded by roses in the rear part of the property can also be used. The 78sqm apartment "Sommerwind" is on the 1st floor and is very well equipped with 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a large kitchen and roof terrace. The terrace invites you to relax and have a barbecue in the evening sun after a sporty day or a day spent on the beach.
The "Zwergenfee" apartment (51sqm) is ideal for two people. The modern bathroom creates its charm through a level access to the shower and has a large terrace. The interior is modern and bright.

All apartments are equipped with an additional sofa bed. Cots and chairs are also available on request.
Fehmarn is the place with the most hours of sunshine in Germany.

The holiday begins when you cross the Fehmarnsund Bridge and have a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. The sea center or the local museum are worth seeing. Excursions to the Niobe monument or the Jimi Hendrix memorial stone, which was erected in honor of the singer who died in 1970, are also popular. In addition to families, dog lovers, motorcyclists and beach goers as well as water sports enthusiasts and golfers, Fehmarn offers ideal conditions.

The ruins of the medieval Glambeck Castle are located in Burgtiefe in the south of Fehmarn. The Danish king Waldemar II had it built in 1210 and until its destruction it was the most important scene in the island's history.

The Katharinenhof open-air museum offers a journey back in time to the Middle Ages.



Several million birds cross the island of Fehmarn every year. They can be observed undisturbed in the Wallnau bird reserve. The approx. 300 hectare nature reserve is managed by the Naturschutzbund Deutschland e. V. (NABU).

Fehmarn has a total of five lighthouses to offer, of which the Flügger lighthouse is open to visitors and can also be used for civil marriages.


In the northern village of Gammendorf you suddenly find a mast with a memorial stone and a bronze plaque on a walk on the beach - the Niobe Monument. The sailing training ship Niobe was a training ship of the Imperial Navy and sank in 1932. Many of the mainly young officer candidates drowned without experience and only 40 sailors could be saved.
