Darßer cottage with a thatched roof at a long-established Prerower family

The small historic holiday home on our very quiet and green property in Prerow offers peace and relaxation for up to 4 people in a prime location.

The approx. 70 sqm living space half-timbered house with its thatched roof (reed) ensures a very pleasant indoor climate. Cool in summer and cozy and warm in winter.

Built in the year of the great storm surge in 1872, processed frames of stranded sailing ships in the half-timbered house testify to the seafaring history of this cottage!
Until 1987 it was traditionally used by our father, an old Prerow fisherman, as a net floor!

Your bed linen is provided by us and is included in the price, as well as electricity and heating. Please bring your bath towels yourself!
A high chair and a cot for the little ones are available and can be provided free of charge!
If required, we will deliver fresh bread rolls from the local baker every morning!
In the neighboring Hotel Bernstein (300m) you can use the swimming pool, sauna and restaurant all year round for a fee.

It is only a 15-minute walk to the beach and after just a few hundred meters you will find yourself in the rustic Darß forest, in the middle of the national park!
From here you can take wonderful bike tours and swim with excellent water quality on the flat north beach or on the unique west beach in the Baltic Sea.

Our healthy, stimulating climate and unique nature have been attracting holidaymakers to our beautiful fishing and seafaring village for over 140 years and Prerow has been a seaside resort since 1880!
Every year Prerow receives the blue flag for excellent bathing water quality!
The Darß has its charm in winter too. Beautiful walks on the beach, the unique light and a wide view of the Baltic Sea will leave you with incredible impressions.
If you are lucky, you will find the rare amber washed up and coveted on the beach in autumn and winter. The gold of the sea!
