Peace and privacy abound. Sit and watch the wildlife
Appointed as well as a 5 star hotel. This home sits way off the road in the middle of mature hardwoods. Looks like a park! 2 car attached garage. Set up for short term executive stay, Honeymoons or Romantic Holidays. 2 Kings size beds if 2 couples would like to leave the kids at home and have an adult vacation or long weekend. You can't see another house from the screened in back porch from which you can hear a creek happily babbling by except for in extreme dry weather. Fully furnished Kitchen. Beds are down duvets and pillows. A sofa and two recliners in living room. Was set up with the need to sanitize everything between guests in mind. Smoking is not allowed inside but accommodations are made on the front and back porches. A desk and High speed WiFi connection are provided. This is next door to our home which has a pond with an island in the middle that has been the backdrop for many photo sessions that guests are welcome to visit.

Our stay was great. The location was perfect for our visit and the house was magnificent. It was sparkling clean, beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable.
I needed a safe place for my elderly parents (90 & 83) to stay during a family funeral. This home was perfect! The doorways were wide and all flat services and a walk in shower. My mother raved about how well they both slept, as I did too! The robes were a bonus! Especially for the cold mornings. I slept in the front bedroom and heard absolutely no road noise. The house sits so far back off the main road you really don’t hear anything. I especially enjoyed the deep soaking tub after the long days. I will definitely book again when we come back.
My friends and I were in Batesville for our 50th class reunion. We had a wonderful time. It was so nice to come back to the house at the end of the evening and just relax. We loved sitting. at the table while we drank coffee looking outside. It was so peaceful. We all highly recommend staying here
The home is lovely and very well appointed. Comfy beds, great linens. The property is beautiful. We had so much fun watching the rabbits, cows (next door), tadpoles and tiny frogs in the stream. I can't think of anything lacking in our stay. We hope to be back the next time we come to Batesville.
Stayed here for 2024 eclipse. Great location. Easy to find. Came from Florida an friends met us from New Mexico an Tennessee. Accomadations were excellent in everyway. Hosts Lottie an Boyd were great to meet an talk with. Went above an beyond to make our stay extra special. Would highly recomend this place an stay here again if we return to Arkansas.
Best value I’ve ever gotten from a VRBO. Clean and stocked well with kitchen and bath accessories Had everything we needed. Plenty of space, secluded by by trees and nature but extremely conveniently close to shopping and restaurants.
Owner is thoughtful and kind and was helpful with navigating restaurants.
Beautiful home and ideal location to see wildlife and relax!!
Comfortable, clean, large rooms and attention to all living details is found at this home. Every time we return it is a treat. Love the screened in porch looking out at the trees and watching deer, birds and wildlife roaming. Thanks, Lottie!!
Nothing was forgotten in getting this home ready to rent. Plenty of space, clean washer and dryer, great beds and linens, plenty of towels and supplies and stuff in the kitchen cabinets. Double attached garage with openers as well
This stands out as one of the nicest that we've rented.
What a beautiful property with hotel quality amenities! Lottie was very accommodating and the house was perfect for our quick family vacation. We enjoyed staying at this beautiful home!
Once again, a great stay!! The host has thought of every detail and the home is lovely. Out of town enough to be quiet and relaxing but only a 10 minute drive into Batesville. I even watch two deer one morning while enjoying my cup of coffee - an added bonus!
We were in Batesville for a family reunion over Memorial Day weekend and rented this house.
My wife and I had our daughter and her family with us .
The home was perfect . The property is huge with plenty of room for the children to run and explore.
It’s a very cozy and peaceful setting. We loved sitting on the porches while the children played in the yard.
The home had everything needed for an extended weekend ( or much longer) for a family . A real home away from home.
We look forward to staying here any time we’re in town to visit family .
Lottie was great to deal with and made everything easy and welcoming . Thank you SO much we had a great holiday !
We look forward to our next visit and would highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I have traveled a lot for business and grew weary of Hotels. We bought this property because it was contiguous to our retirement house. We bought both properties because together they make a beautiful park like setting. Tenants are welcome to visit our side with a pond and Bridges that cross over to an island in the middle. Most locals know it as the duck pond property. Many pictures have been shot on these two properties. Photographers love to use it for a backdrop. It is our wish to share this with travelers who would prefer to be in a beautiful home rather than a hotel.
Why they chose this property
It is very private but also only a few miles from Batesville. Grocery store and dollar store very nearby. Bedrooms are furnished with beds and bedding comparable to a 5 star hotel with down pillows and down duvets and high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Kitchen is fully furnished with all you could need. It has a washer and dryer for your use. If you are staying longer than a week and would like linen service it can be done for a additional fee of $75 per cleaning.
What makes this property unique
Has both a front porch with rockers and a big back screened porch from which you can not see another sign of civilization. An oversize garage allows you to put your car away and no one would have any idea you are there. It sits way off the road. Most windows are in back and look out at nature.
