Welcome to our home where you'll find the perfect blend of relaxation and comfort! Enjoy a glass of local wine as you relax in our hot tub / pool or spread out in one of our two living rooms with family and friends.
We are 10-30 min from Paso Robles, SLO, Morro Bay, Avila Beach and Pismo Beach. There are many restaurants, wineries, breweries, and activities in the area.
Please read our House Rules, Noise Curfew and No Music Outdoors Policy as these will be strictly enforced.

DETAILS:
THE PROPERTY:
Our home is located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood where many of our neighbors have lived for decades. We have peach, pomegranate and cherry trees in the front yard, which you are welcome to enjoy.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen has been tastefully updated to include a temperature controlled wine fridge and granite countertops. At one corner of the kitchen, you will find a coffee bar with a coffee maker, Keurig machine, some K-cups and an electric kettle. We have all your basic cooking needs, including utensils, plates, and bowls for adults and children. There is also a blender, toaster, microwave, and rice cooker.
TWO LIVING ROOMS:
Relax and unwind after a day of wine tasting or hanging out by the pool in one of our two living rooms. Log into your favorite show on Netflix, Youtube, Disney Plus, etc with our Smart TV. Please note that the living room has a fireplace that is not operational for safety reasons.
POOL & HOT TUB:
The POOL IS NOT HEATED but stays warm from late spring through early fall. Guests have the option to heat the pool to 82 degrees for $250/day. Heating the hot tub is complimentary year round. We do not provide pool toys but you are welcome to bring your own. For the safety of young children, there is a mesh fence around the pool and hot tub.
BACKYARD:
Plastic wine glasses, plates, cups, and bowls are available for outdoor use. Our pool maintenance professional comes every Thursday or Friday. Please vacate the pool and spa for ~60 min if he comes during your stay. We also have a gardener that comes on Fridays.
BEDROOMS:
- Bedroom 1: The upstairs master bedroom has a king sized bed, an en suite bathroom with a shower and bathtub, in addition to a large walk in closet. This room also has a BONUS ROOM that can be used as a 5th bedroom with a twin trundle bed.
- Bedroom 2: Downstairs Bedroom with Queen bed.
- Bedroom 3: Downstairs Kids room with a bunk bed that has a twin on top and a full on the bottom. Can sleep three.
- Bedroom 4: Downstairs Bedroom with Full sized bed. Includes an en suite bathroom and a desk.
GUEST AMENITIES:
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and body lotion are provided in each bathroom. Pool towels are also provided.
NOISE CURFEW:
The neighborhood Noise Curfew starts at 10pm, which means use of the pool and hot tub ends at 10pm. We want our guests to enjoy their vacation, but please be respectful of our neighbors and keep the outdoor noise to a minimum. Per Airbnb's recommendation, we have a noise monitoring device in the backyard. This device is meant to prevent parties and will only notify us of "party level noises." A normal amount of noise from a group of adults will not trigger the alert and 99% of our guests have not triggered the device. If we receive a noise complaint during your stay, you will be fined $250.
OTHER:
The second floor balcony and indoor fireplace are both not available to use according to our insurance policy.
We have three exterior cameras to ensure the property is safe at all times. One is by the front door and the other two are in the backyard.
Our backyard slopes up. We have a privacy fence in the back, but you will occasionally see the neighbors behind our house hanging out in their backyard.
Our home is in a residential neighborhood and also has a country feel. You will often see deer roaming the streets and lizards in the front and back yard. Occasionally, the lizards may enter the home when the doors are open. The lizards are harmless and you can scoop them up with a cup and put them back outside. In addition, a pest control company services our home every other month, but it is natural for some insects to make it into the home when the doors are open. We appreciate your understanding with this.
Guests have access to the entire house and front and back yards.

- OTHER: Removing shoes indoors helps us maintain a clean home for everyone. Also, illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

PETS:
We welcome up to two house trained dogs for an additional $125 per dog. Dogs should be crated inside the home when owners are out. Damage to the property will incur additional charges.
SERVICE & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS:
Service Animal and Emotional Support Animals MUST be disclosed, in writing, prior to booking. The pet fee is waived only for legitimate service or emotional support animals that remain with their owner at all times. If there is evidence that the animal was left alone, the pet fee will be applied.
Please be aware that in California, falsely claiming a pet as a service animal is a criminal misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 and/or up to six months in jail.
CHILDREN SAFETY:
We do not have gates around the stairs, so younger children should always be watched. Please ensure a responsible adult is watching the children outdoors at all time. We are not liable for any accidents during your stay.
OTHER:
Central CA occasionally has PG&E power outages. These outages typically last only 1-2 hours. We will provide you with updates we get from PG&E. Since these outage are completely out of our control, we are unable to provide refunds due to PG&E outages. We appreciate your understanding if this happens during your stay.
CHECK-IN PROCESS
To ensure a smooth and secure check-in process, we kindly ask all guests to provide a selfie holding a valid ID and the credit card used for booking. Please ensure that the name on the ID matches the name on the credit card. For your privacy, you are welcome to black out sensitive information such as your driver's license number or other personal details—we only require the name and photo on the ID.
EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT:
We offer early check in and late check out when we do not have another reservation checking in or out that same day. You can check in as early as 12pm and check out as late as 2pm for an additional $50 each. Please request early check in / late check out within 24 hours of your check in date so we can check out most up to date calendar to see if we can accommodate your request.
If you'd like to guarantee an early check in / late check out, we can block the day before /after for $100.

Hi! My name is Jane and I live in Northern California with my husband and three young kids. We purchased this home during the pandemic because we have family in Southern California, and we wanted a place in the middle where we can gather. Our home is halfway in between the Bay Area and LA.
I became a stay at home mom about five years ago when my oldest daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Due to multiple complications during her cancer treatment, I am unable to return to my corporate career. During the pandemic, I started investing in real estate and this is our first vacation rental property. I feel blessed that I am able to stay at home and care for my children while managing and maintaining this property on the side.

Why they chose this property
We purchased this property in 2021 from an older couple who had lived in it for 20+ years. They took great care of the home but it needed some updating. We spent a few months renovating the property so it has a more modern and contemporary feel.
The home was furnished with the goal of bringing families together. The property is halfway in between the Bay Area and LA, so it's a great midway point for families from both locations to meet, or for those who need to breakup a long drive up and down the coast of California. We are also very close to the Central California wineries, SLO, beaches, restaurants, shopping, and much more!
