A story cabin

We truly felt like norman and ethyl from the On Golden Pond movie. A historical cabin on the river. Lots of room, lots of wood architecture. Yes there were critters but it only added to the story. Yes we had snow and cold but there were plenty of quilts to burrow under. Bluebirds and dolphins made us smile. It was hard to leave.

Peaceful and secluded

The cabin was clean and had plenty of space. It's a beautiful place to be outside, as well. The outdoor facilities are great. There are so many things I could mention

Natural Beauty

This is a great property in a beautiful location. It was well stocked and the owner delivered a few items when we mentioned we could use them. The area is pretty quiet and the river views from the yard are very scenic. We saw pelicans, herons egrets, hawks and other birds. We saw dolphins off the dock at least once and at various other spots on the river from our small boat.If you are staying long-term, be aware there is no mail delivery to this address. We had ours delivered with premium forwarding to the Foley post office, General Delivery.The driveway is about 1,000 feet long and made of clay and sand. It was rutted in places, but our minivan had no problems (we took it slow). It seemed to drain pretty well after rain. If we returned to the Foley area, we would stay here again.

Amazing

It was amazing my wife and kids loved it. Peaceful and quiet. Fishing was awsome. Not to far from shopping and restaurants. The cabin is exactly as advertised very comfortable with plenty of room. Zero issues or complaints. Will definitely book again. Also booking couldnt have been easier.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Very roomy, plenty of space for the 10 of us. Quiet and somewhat secluded area. Great place to relax.

Cute cabin on the water

I stayed here along with my sister and our 4 children (4-12). We enjoying being close to the beach but off the beaten path. The yard is excellent for entertaining and the cabin is adorable

Wonderful!

Such a peaceful and relaxing setting. Loved being on the river and being entertained by the dolphins almost daily and also the pelicans, while sitting on the large deck.The cabin was very roomy and accomodating! We definitively want to come back!

Perfect get away

We really enjoyed the cabin and especially the deck, fire pit, dock on the river. The last day the dolphins came up the river and we were mesmerized by them. Perfect get away for a family gathering.

Week's Family Cabin

The rustic secluded cabin is perfect for a quiet and peaceful get away. It is spacious and well stocked with all the amenities. The Magnolia River is teaming with wildlife, makes for a beautiful viewing from the sunroom. The Host is very acomidating and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend this rental.

Family Fun

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We were there celebrating my 53rd birthday and I had the most wonderful time. The fishing was great and the neighbors were friendly. I will be staying there again. The cabin was nice and clean as well. The owners had left a postcard thanking me for my visit. The only thing I didn't see was a wheel chair ramp for people with disabilities.

Best weekend ever

Pictures do not do this place justice. We had a amazing stay at the Weeks cabin. It was 13 of us in total and the peace and calm we felt was relaxing and rejuvenating. We sat on the dock and talked for hours, Swam, laid in the swings and watched the dolphins each morning . ( up to 6 at one point) This property is stocked with everything you could possibly need. All the ladies in our group asked if we could do a yearly trip to the Weeks Cabin. Highly recommend.

Husband and I have 5 children ages 19,16,13,11,9 My mother 69yrs old 2 of my kids boyfriends 1 sister So we had a total of 11 people there was something for EVERYONE... we fished grilled out... it was peaceful, relaxing and such a great house... we would love to stay again next year ... Fishing Fun in the Sun
