Nice stay in Colorado
The place was great and the owners were super accommodating and responsive. The three of us (and our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our nearly 2 month-long stay. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of closet space; the Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need; and the setting was beautiful.

All You Need & More! Great Stay
Kristin was a pleasure to deal with, and extremely thoughtful. The cabin is nicely appointed, large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, closets & dressers. Plenty of supplies to get you started, pleasantly scented candles, and lots of games & sporting equipment to borrow. Room to spread out for our group of 6 & dog. We were there during some blustery winter weather, so did not use the decks, but there are several, great mountains views, a gas grill & fire pit. Towels & linens were good quality, & bedding is warm & comfortable. The checkout procedures were much appreciated, simple & short. The neighborhood was quiet, & historic Georgetown is worth visiting and only about a mile from the cabin. Lovely and affordable art coop stores, as well as the normal shopping you’d expect. Recommend picking up groceries in Idaho Springs at Safeway if traveling in on I70 West, from Denver. We didn’t head toward Silverthorne area, but lots of options there, too. We’re already making our plans to return!

Georgetown stay
We had a wonderful experience at this home. Kristin had everything we needed. A couple minor maintenance items but she was quick and prompt to remedy if needed. I gave a 4 for cleanliness but overall it was fine. Beds were comfy and we loved the pull down screen projector. We hope to stay there again. Thank you!!!

Great house in a great location! Pet friendly too!
This house is even cuter than the pictures. The owner and location are very pet friendly. There is a great walking trail near the home for dogs. Each bedroom in the house has a private bath, making it an excellent home for a family or friends sharing a home. The bed was very comfortable! There were lots of amenities for recreation: bikes, trampoline, etc. We especially liked the projector for streaming movies on chilly nights. Communication with Kristin was great. Georgetown has an adorable historic downtown, steam railroad trip, and Guanella Pass, with it's amazing views and tons of hiking. We saw several bighorn sheep near town during our stay. It's a great location with lots of nearby attractions too!

Nice, clean property.
Nice property. Clean and cozy. The rules document is electronic and a little confusing. I needed to download an app to view it. It could use being printed out and laminated for easier reference. Also, the property insurance I purchased was charged $141 due to a brittle shower head that crumbled in my hand when trying to adjust it. I would attribute this to age more than negligence. It also still functioned properly. Overall a nice place with cozy beds, but a little unfair with the damage charge in my opinion.

We are a NZ/English couple living in NY. We bought this mountain hideaway to hike in summer, ski in winter, and see the fall colours. This is our second home, not purely a rental, so fully stocked for a family. We designed the house for relaxation - so you can bring kids, dogs, muddy boots, wet ski gear without stress.

Why they chose this property

Georgetown is a historic mining town in the mountains. The house is a short walk (10 min) to both Lake and historic town center.

What makes this property unique

Large house designed for a family living full time - all the amenities. Room for you and guests. Skiing, hiking, watersports on your doorstep
