weekend in New Haven and Yale area

This wonderful property is updated, immaculate, and provided a wonderful stay for our family. It's on a quiet street with ample parking. I enjoyed a peaceful cup of coffee sitting on the porch each morning. The amenities were great, and we appreciated the great work of the hosts in making things easy for check-in and having everything ready for us. Highly recommended!

New Haven stay

The apartment was very well appointed. Lovely colors and appliances although we didn't cook. Beds very comfortable. Easy to find with plenty of parking. Several old and empty homes on the street but we felt safe and it was quiet.

About the host

Host profile image
We are a husband-wife team, local to New Haven, CT. We love this city and have devoted our lives to restoring houses and creating beautiful spaces for both guests and city residents to enjoy. Outside of our business, we enjoy spending time with our children, biking around the city, gardening, visiting with family and friends, and traveling.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located in the historic Prospect Hill section of New Haven. This neighborhood is home to perhaps the finest architecture in the entire city - a collection of large mansions from the mid to late 19th and early 20th century. These homes once belonged to wealthy industrialists, Connecticut governors, elite educators, and business luminaries. Many of these properties have been wonderfully restored in the past few decades and the area now offers terrific opportunities for architecture fans and history buffs.
