Home decor was fabulous, the ramp to the door/seat in the shower was very handy for my mom, that has arthritis in her knee. Some downsides unfortunately, the heat wasn't functional on arrival, the fireplace wouldn't light, living room couchs looked worn, the main bathroom floor felt soft like it's had a modest makeover to cover the water damage underneath, trash can lid was broken off. We got hit with an unexpected snow storm on our tentative departure date, I sent an email after hours the day before to see what options we had since home (Michigan) was 10 hrs on a good day, next morning I was offered two days to let the snow storm pass. When I called after hours for the heat, a gentleman responded within a hour- hour and a half, heat was put on emergency heat for our stay until they could fix it correctly.
Cabin was very clean. So close to everything and made getting around convenient. Loved the decorations. No complaints!

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
This property is very easy to find, close enough to the main downtown strip but also far enough away to be out of the traffic! It was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed! I could not brag enough about bear camp cabin rentals communication and helpfulness! There’s 3 restaurants with-in close walking distance and a grocery store with drive thru/fast food less than a mile away! The annual Christmas parade lines up right in front of the cabin, which is why we were there so it worked fabulous!
We booked this trip over fall break, it was a last min trip we desided to take with our kids, I'm so happy we picked this cabin it was the cutest cabin we have stayed in, in Gatlinburg and we have went the last 10 years every fall break. It is a 1 mile walk ( took us 20 min) to the downtown strip, We also have 3 kids one is handicap in a wheelchair that is (18 years old) and this cabin was absolutely perfect for his needs, the doors to all room is wheelchair associable and the bathroom shower was perfect for his bathing needs. I have kept the cabin info and we will be defiantly be staying here again. The outside ramp for us to get him into the cabin was great as well.
My best girlfriends and I had our first trip together. The cabin was a perfect fit for us. We loved everything about it, the location, the space, the cleanliness, everything. Highly recommend
Loved everything about this cabin. From the cleanliness, to the convenience, this cabin was perfect for my little family. We hope to return in the near future!
The cabin was very clean and looked as the pictures described. It was very close to Gatlinburg and was not a far drive from Pigeon Forge. We had an issue with the TV and the front office was very helpful and quick to answer. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend getaway!
The cabin was very nice, comfortable, and at a location where it was easy to navigate, the nearby eateries were very convenient and within walking distance, the area has some very nice things to see there.
Very clean, convenient short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Beds were comfortable.
Only issue I had was no blow dryer. Not necessarily a big deal, just know to bring one if you need it. I didnt think to look at the description since thats normally standard in everywhere Ive stayed. I really appreciated that the checkout lost was super simple without a ridiculous list of things to do.
Everything we needed! Clean, comfortable, close to attractions. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. It gave my kids something fun to do while we were at the cabin. The location was good because of its proximity to Gatlinburg and some nice hiking areas, but it’s not a cabin in the woods. But I think that was clear from the listing. There is construction happening across the street, but my boys enjoyed watching that too so we made the best of it.
I really appreciated how clean and new the place was, the bed was very comfortable, and I was able to do laundry and come home with clean clothes! Check-in/out was also a breeze. Loved the keypad so I didn’t have to worry about keeping track of a key. The kitchen was also well stocked- we cooked every meal in the cabin which saved us lots of money. Overall great experience- would come again!
We stayed at this cabin for my kids Winter Break. We stayed March 11th-15th. It snowed while we were there and my kids loved it. The nice little yard beside the house was perfect for the kids the play in the snow. The cabin stayed perfectly warm despite the low being 12 degrees outside. The cabin was clean and looked fairly new. The beds were comfortable. They were no sheets for the pullout sofa that my son slept on but luckily I packed some just in case there weren’t any. Not a huge deal breaker but the owner might want to provide some for future guest. The location of the cabin was nice. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg and all the major attractions. There is a steak house and a pancake place within walking distance to the cabin which was nice on the day it snowed. We walked to the pancake place for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
Cabin was cozy and very clean.
Gas stove clicked the entire time it was used. Needs to be checked.
The TV in the bedroom did not work, but there were two others, so it wasn't a big deal.
Loved the way it was decorated with the Bear Theme. It was also decorated for Christmas.
Took a while to figure out the thermostat, but after that it was very easy. LOL
Wonderful experience, would definitely stay again!
