Great view - relaxing and close

This is the second time we have stayed at the property. We spent one whole day just listening to the waves and enjoying the the day. While somewhat cool we were happy to see some boats on the water and enjoyed the day.

This was our second time at this property and it was perfect. We spent, most of our time on the deck, watching the water and reading. The house is well equipped with anything that you might need. Kaye is available if you need anything, but otherwise, is unobtrusive. We plan to go back next summer.

Better than the listing!

The house is just as nice as described, and the location (right on Lake Michigan) is even better! All amenities supplied, including all of the kitchen equipment I needed, great air conditioning, and most important, a lovely deck with table, chairs, and comfortable chaise lounges, looking right on Lake Michigan. The community of Grand Beach is charming. Beaches a short walk away. We were well taken care of. The best vacation home ever!

Beautiful view

Loved the view and the unique little neighborhood of this rental. House had everything needed. Owner allowed us use of the golf cart which helped when going to the nearby beach. I did think that the house had beach access based on the description. Beach was very rocky. Nearby beaches are drivable and beautiful.

Amazing waterfront rental!

The experience was great and Grand Beach is wonderful. Easy access to beaches, dining, kid’s activities and golf. The house was very nice and fit our needs perfectly. The view of evening sunsets was nothing short of spectacular as well. Looking forward to another visit in the future!

Peaceful and pleasant stay

We enjoyed a few weekdays at this property. The deck was comfortable and relaxing with beautiful views. The hostess was very welcoming and responsive and communicative. The area lost power after a big storm, and she kept us updated as she received estimates of power restoration. It was our first time in Grand Beach. The residents were friendly. The golf cart will included with the rental was convenient for getting around. The golf course was quiet, not crowded, and perfect for casual golfers, especially with children. The golf course staff were nice and helpful. The rates are great, especially the twilight special. We explored nearby towns that are busier and have stores, restaurants and big beaches, but we were always glad to come back to the pleasant and peaceful Village of Grand Beach.

Awesome view

We had a wonderful stay at this Grand Beach home. It was clean and the view was amazing. The owner and her daughter were so sweet and everything was as described. I would stay here again for sure!

lovely get away

The house was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The deck though is what makes it very special. We spent our entire week on the deck- listening to the water, watching sunsets and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. One note,, as other reviewers have mentioned- the deck is connected to other decks, so it is not isolated and if other people are out on their decks, you do see and hear them.. However, there is plenty of privacy and after our initial reaction, it proved not to be a problem.

Great place to stay!

Our family of four had a great vacation in Grand Beach. Kaye was easy to work with and responsive to our needs. All was on mark with our expectations (house, location, and views). Enjoyed playing golf/tennis, kids had a great time at the beaches and Warren Dunes State Park. Thank you Kaye for helping us have a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Fantastic Lake Getaway!

A wonderful experience from beginning to end at the Moriarty’s lake house. Well appointed, very clean, and the view can’t be beat. Loved Grand Beach and its offerings including the fun no-frills golf course and beach. The golf court was an added plus! Kaye and her family and everyone in Grand Beach are very friendly. Looking forward to coming back for another lake getaway!

Great location - perfect location on Lake Michigan

Stayed here for 5 nights. Sat on deck most of the time. Great location and enjoyed hearing the waves of the lake. Enjoyed the golf cart exploring the neighborhood. Did not play golf the neighborhood does have a golf course so it can be a nice diversion

Breathtaking Lakeside Views

My mom and I did a girls' getaway to Kaye's place for a few days, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The balcony picture is completely accurate - breathtaking lake views right below you. The house was immaculately clean, which we were beyond appreciative of particularly during current times. Kaye was super friendly and accessible with any questions we had. Would call out that it is a shared patio to Kaye's place, but we had plenty of privacy and space to ourselves. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!! Thanks so much for an amazing trip Kaye!

Week stay - wonderful location, view, hostess

Kaye was a wonderful landlord - very friendly and responsive to our needs and questions . Fantastic location with deck overlooking Lake MI and the Chicago skyline in the distance. The only drawback was the lack of beach due to high Lake MI water levels. The 9 hole golf course and the friendliness of the surrounding neighbors was a great benefit to our stay. Would like to return.

What a a gorgeous sunset!

Loved everything about our stay - didn't want to leave! Hope we can plan to come back again next year. Kaye was super host, as were the neighbors around us. Lakefront was RIGHT THERE! I could have stared at it 24/7. Thanks Kaye for everything!

The deck overlooking Beautiful Lake Michigan was a highlight of this rental. A great location. Check in was smooth, the house was very clean and the owner was delightful. A very nice experience.

Perfect weekend getaway!!!

Wonderful, quiet and peaceful!! Very, VERY friendly owner and was so nice!!!! Wished the weekend could have been longer! Without a doubt want to come back again for another summer weekend and definitely want to come again come October to enjoy a fall weekend! Highly recommend!!! We will be back!!
