Summary:
The Majestic View is just that. This beautiful home is newly remodeled and updated with all new furniture, kitchen supplies and home decor. The view of the Mississippi River is breathtaking. A Perfect getaway to enjoy sunsets on the Gazebo. Relax and enjoy the outdoors while sitting around the big stone fire pit with a beautiful view of the river. There is a two level deck with an outdoor 6 person hot tub which is open all year and located on lower deck. Spacious 4 BR home for the perfect family vacation. Sleeps 10 comfortably. One bedroom with a queen bed on main level, Three bedrooms on the lower level. One with a King bed and Two with one full and one twin bed in each. Majestic View is perched high on a bluff, in the beautiful Wisconsin Driftless Region. Enjoy endless activities, local attractions, and this beautiful countryside. It truly is a Majestic View

Awesome space!

The house and views were amazing! The drive up to the house was a little crazy with windy roads, but once you get to the house it’s definitely worth it. The hot tub was perfect for the group of girls for the weekend. We ended up going thrifting in Prairie De Chien, but mainly stayed at the house for the full weekend. We all agreed we’d stay again. Kari responded to all of my questions very timely. Great host!

Great place with amazing outdoor spaces!

Excellent stay with our couple friend group! Absolutely stunning views! Loved the outdoor areas: deck, gazebo/overlook, and fire pit. Nice large table for gathering and we appreciated the beverage fridge and counter in the dining/sun room. Well stocked with everything we needed. Felt larger than the pictures looked. Only downside: no dishwasher. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful scenic and quiet . Several birds to watch and listen to. House is stocked with so many extras Fire pit is a hit as well as the views ! Only 1 needed item would be a dishwasher We did not expect to do dishes but we made it through 😂

Love this 'Chalet'

We came to the region for a wedding, with a dozen family coming and going. Our 'chalet' turned out to be beautifully outfitted, so comfortable, with incredible views. Family meals were a joy to make together in this grand kitchen. Our hostess was welcoming and responsive. We will look for excuses to come back.

Hands down the best property!!

This property not only has stunning views, but we felt like we walked into a brand new home! Not only was it clean, it was immaculate, not a spec of dust or crumb to be found! We had 8 adults and 2 kids during our stay and there was plenty of room to fit us all comfortably. The arrangement of rooms were just as the listing stated. The patio areas were well stocked with plenty of seating, and the gazebo and fireplace was a perfect touch for added views and things to do. I HIGHLY recommend staying at this location - the views, cleanliness and professionalism by the host were top notch!

Great Gathering Spot

Beautiful home with magnificent views. We had a group of 8 adults (4 couples) get together for a long weekend and definitely enjoyed this home. Host very responsive.

Very good family gathering

We had a wonderful family gathering with siblings traveling from several states. All were so pleased with the house, so comfortable, view outstanding, all needs met. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home and area for comfort, beauty and peace.

Fantastic View

Clean, quiet and relaxing. The view is great from inside or if you walk out to the gazebo. We were able to watch a lot of boats down below and a few eagles flying around in the sky behind the house.

Majestic Views Delivered

This property was exactly as promoted. The views were amazing as were the accommodations. To get to those views, you have to drive up the bluff and the roads were a little rough, but well worth it.

Great view and space

Had a terrific Memorial Day trip here. View over the Mississippi is unmatched and the deck and gazebo were wonderful. Nice to grill and eat outside as the sun set. Comfortable space for seven.

Majestic View is a Majestic Stay!

We had an excellent time at Majestic View. We knew we were in a great place as soon as we opened up the door and walked into a warm wood fire burning in the fireplace. What a way to start a beautiful weekend. The home was well kept, clean, and inviting. The view from the deck and overlook was breathtaking in the morning, afternoon, and night, and made our stay amazing. If it would have been warmer we could have easily stayed on the deck until late hours enjoying the view, or early morning coffee. This place would be great for family gatherings or even a romantic or peaceful getaway. We felt so comfortable here that we could have easily just stayed put and enjoyed our time. We found that Desoto and Lansing have enough services to keep us entertained and fed. Cell service was good, wifi worked great, beds, furniture, towels, and necessities were perfect for our stay. There is so much to do in the area that one could easily stay here any season. We loved this place so much and were so satisfied with the Majestic View that we plan to come again next year.

My husband and I own and manage Riverscape Vacation Rentals in De Soto WI. We currently have 5 vacation rentals (all within walking distance of each other) perched high on a bluff with beautiful Views that will take your breath away. We have fallen in love with this area that is referred to as "Gods Country" and love to be able to share the beauty with others. We have a huge passion for hunting and fishing and there's no better place for that then here!!!

Why they chose this property

The views are just amazing. We currently have 5 properties within walking distance of each other, all in a secluded area with Views of the Mighty Mississippi. Wildlife are usually within sight. Our properties are perfect for a family reunion, corporate retreat and not to mention the beauty of the view for the perfect wedding venue.

What makes this property unique

There are many things to do in the area, shopping, antiquing, wineries, apple orchards, fishing (Pool 9 is one of the best fisheries on the Mississippi) hunting (Mississippi Flyway) sightseeing in Amish Country (The bakeries are to die for), bike riding, hiking, canoeing ATV and snowmobile trails, just to name a few. There isn't any more beautiful views and sunsets that overlook the Mississippi like the ones our properties provide. We take great pride in our vacation homes and keep them in pristine condition. We want our guests to be able to enjoy their stay as well as share the beauty of the driftless region.
