Great location with walk to town and river trail. Lots of places to sleep, enjoyed the hot tub. Nice and clean and full of kitchen stuff, was easy to prep food. To my surprise the house stayed pretty cool, bedrooms had fans to assist. Another great feature, lots of parking, easy to have 2 large trucks, motorcycle trailer, and another small car. Will definitely consider staying again, next trip to Bend.
A great location in town, and loved having the hot tub. Nothing fancy, but you don’t need fancy when you are there to have a good time with friends and family. Gave us a great space to do just that. Would recommend to others who share a similar mindset!
The property location could not be better. We could walk along the River trail to places downtown, or just take wonderful strolls. The house is clean, comfortable and worked very well for five people. A few suggestions would make it even better - clothes wall hooks in the bedrooms and the use of unscented products (bath products, dish soap and laundry soap)

Great location but property needs updates and maintenance
Great location but property needs serious updates and maintenance for the price. Bedrooms are very small. without AC, the upstairs (attic) loft is not habitable. Kitchen has no updates. 1950s appliances. Refrigerator leaking.
The property location is great, and we really enjoyed the fire pit! The hot tub was pretty dirty, and some of "the small things" were missing - like saran wrap and aluminum foil. Also, the water pressure in the shower wasn't very good. Nonetheless, we had a great time and the location definitely served its purpose.
It was stated we'd have firewood for the pit and coffee makers available for our stay. Contacted the owner about each- only 2 logs and none of the three coffee pots were operational. When our concerns were raised, each time we were directed into town to get it for ourselves. Overall a pleasant property, but a little shop worn.

Mixed feelings about this property. It is NOT where listed on the (admittedly not specific) map one looks at prior to making a non-refundable reservation. I am from Bend and was looking for a specific area, and this house is on the opposite side of the river shown— it is off Revere Ave north of Pioneer park (I was expecting the other side of the river in lower Awbrey area as shown on the map.) However, when I realized how close it was to the excellent river walk into town, I was fairly happy about the location.
The house is clean, has the essentials, and is affordable considering proximity to town and considering it has so many rooms, though the stairs to the attic room are so steep (and the attic sooo hot in summer) that I wouldn’t advertise this as one of the rooms if this were my rental. The queen bed is too mushy for comfort, but the bunk beds were solid and had comfortable mattresses, so we slept well.
I think the thing most people are surprised by with this property is that the yard is all dirt/gravel (and in Bend, that tends to mean the puffy moon-dust type stuff that gets everywhere.) We definitely did not want to go into the back yard, and kept our dog on the path out front to avoid getting too dusty. But— to be fair, they don’t advertise a back yard, and the park is close, so we just went elsewhere for our outdoor spaces.
Overall, this place grew on me and worked pretty well for us. The map location should be corrected for accuracy.
We were very pleased with this property and how friendly it was for our young family. With a toddler, it's always difficult to know how much 'please don't touch that' you're going to have to do, and we were happy to find very minimal objects/precious things in the house. It served exactly the purpose we needed it to: beds in separate bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom. The hot tub was a great bonus, and the outdoor sitting area was welcoming. Its proximity to the riverside path was also great. I can't imagine carrying the canoe down there, but no doubt if we were determined we could have done that. This is not a fancy home by any stretch, but it suited our needs perfectly and we would be happy to stay here again.
We had a great time here! The home is in an amazing location right by the river, which was great for morning walks and swimming/chilling by the water. This location is also super close to downtown and lots of great restaurants and breweries. We loved the fire pit outside, as well! The home is older so there’s no A/C or modern amenities (dishwasher, etc.), which was fine but just something to keep in mind in the summer months. The property owners/managers were really responsive to any questions and check-in was super easy. We’d rent here again!
We really enjoyed our time here. Air-conditioning would have been nice, but we took full advantage of the many fans available. Short walk to an amazing walking path along the river. The provided life jackets need replaced, were covered in mold. Right front burner on range didn't work and the batteries in the remote controls were dead. Regardless, we had a great time.
This is an older house with lots of GOOD character. Plenty of sleeping spaces including the attic bedroom. Clean and well-supplied. The only thing missing is a “regular” coffee maker; instead there were two Keurigs and a French Press. The location is very central and the big surprise are the steps down to the river walkway just at the end of the street. We would definitely stay here again except our kids and grandkids are moving to Washington DC. ☹️ Thank you to the hosts and manager!
Great location. Easy river walk to downtown. Yard needs some attention, especially the backyard with broken down van.
Hot tub was a nice bonus!
May stay here again.
This place was everything we needed after some hard work weeks. Our host was extremely communicable and accessible. Location is great. We loved that it was dog friendly. Puppy, partner and I are very happy with our experience staying here.
Old but clean home, small rooms but super cozy (10 people would be tight!) and a great location with easy access to everything! Firepit was a lot of fun!
This property was great for a weekend of brewery tours. We were here for a bachelor weekend before my best friend's wedding. After a day enjoying the local fare it was nice to sit by the fire and kick back. Thanks!
No problems on check-in. Fast response from manager on minor issue. Hot tub and firepit were big plus. This is a "rustic" house so expect an older house & appliances but very clean and location is great. Plenty of room for two adults.

This little house in Bend is in a good location. It is close to a river where you can walk to. It has a cabin like feel which would be great for a family reunion or a group of friends who want to get together to play games and sit in the spa (if it's working). The TV wasn't working and the small bluetooth for music wasn't working. The owners obviously have not visited the property recently and are letting a property management company take over. I was so disappointed.
We loved River Terrace! After walking to the river then on into town for yummy food (highly recommend Taj Palace Indian Cuisine) we came home to a well lit, very safe sanctuary. River Terrace is in a convenient neighborhood. It is easy to find and so cute! What a fun little bungalow - so cozy. Each room had a fan and the beds were so comfy we all were surprised to find ourselves sleeping in each day. Hiking, Hot Springs and the glorious beauty of Bend so accessible. Book it now before you miss out!
We were visiting Bend for a race and had a nice stay here. The house slept four adults comfortably and is in a convenient location close to the river and downtown. The communication with our hosts was great and very easy. Thank you!
All was as advertised and when I had trouble figuring out how to work the t.v. I got a quick and helpful response.
