Cabin was not kept up at all.

Nice little house and guest house. Worked perfectly for the family. Lake was very nice and everyone enjoyed it as well as the hot tub.  Issues we had.  Kitchen sink has a problem. When water was turned on the sprayer would spray you.  The extra paper towels under the sink in their original plastic wrapper were completely socked and moldy.  The bbq grill was super caked with grease and not cleaned. The dryer vent totally didn’t work and was broken in two pieces. Lint was blowing out side on the deck and close were getting tangled around it. We put one of the white plastic chairs by the garbage because it was missing a leg and someone could have been hurt.  No working smoke detectors in either house.  Saw one sitting in the closet on shelf. There was cobwebs in the windowsill. Coffee table is about to fall apart. King bed is like sleeping on plywood. Pull out couch was dirty and had no sheets. Wood is practically touching gas stove.

Girls Weekend!

The location was wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Beds were cozy. Loved having the dock and access to the paddle boat. Some of the fixtures need to be replaced - the kitchen faucet specifically. Other than that everything was as expected.

Charming house but a lot of issues

The guest house along with two beds was not cleaned or made. The hot tub had never been cleaned and the shower door (only one standing shower) is broken and the door got stuck and I couldn’t shower until the next day. I was on the phone with Vacasa twice, 1 time for 45 minutes. I provided pictures that were time stamped and was told the cleaning fee would be refunded; it never was. It’s a charming house in the woods and I understand accidents happen but it was too many and took up too much time to make me want to come back. Still waiting on the refund but when I tries to call a third time I was on hold then got disconnected.

Classic lake house cabin near freeway

The cabin itself is great. Vintage style with a great view of the lake (pond) and the mountains beyond, steps from the water with a newer dock and a few boats to use. Not fancy and missing a few thing (coffee maker, toaster, etc) but perfectly functional. Is hard to get past the constant hum and rumble of I-90 so close by. Was relaxing and our kids had a great time.

Don't fall into their trap

They knew that the hot tub doesn't work and didn't tell us until 2 days before check-in. And said you can not cancel your trip with refund. There was spider webs all around the house. There was limited of dishes, spoons and other cooking stuff which wasn't enough for 8 people. The restroom door was hard to open and close and you will need people to help you open it from outside.

A fun few days at the Lake House!

Great location right on a small lake, just steps out the back door. The paddle boat and kayaks provided were a nice touch and the hot tub a nice way to spend the evening. The house was OK - could have used a deeper cleaning as there were impressive cobwebs in the rafters. A little more maintenance fixing small things like broken screens would have been nice as well. But the beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed, and the lake was the main reason we went. Overall a good stay.

Duck Lakehouse

Cute little house with a second small dwelling with two extra beds. It was obvious that this extra dwelling is not cleaned often. Unfortunately, the main dwelling was not very clean (trash upstairs and outside, cobwebs inside, etc.). The lake is very small and is pretty murky with a strong smell. The private dock is nice. The hot tub was nice, but pieces were broken (the cover mechanism and the headrests). There is no AC, but it stayed cool in the house because of the tree shade. WiFi is spotty. There also weren’t enough paper towels and we ran out of toilet paper with one more night to go. There was also a very friendly a cute dog that came over every day to say hi! Overall, the house is okay.

Good Lake Fun

The cabin house is on a small lake close to I-90 freeway. The house fit our needs which was for five grandchildren to spend as much time playing on the quiet lake. The house was fine, There is a large space for the family to gather and a great outdoor deck to hang out on. The hot tub was a great way to end the day.

Week vacation

From the beginning photo this looked like a great lake/vacation house. This is more of a duck pond than a lake. No motorized boats. Perfect for paddle boarding. Home was clean expect for deep cleaning we noticed after the fact. Dead Flys in all window tracks. Cobwebs in the high tall ceilings. The playground was a great addition with a toddler. Mosquitoes are big here! Especially in the front driveway. Hot tub was great to have on the cooler days. Lake dogs stay for the visit! Don't freak out they sleep under the deck and hang out. Unfortunately there is no wifi connected on TV. Movies available we not good for the kids. Kids had no entertainment during down times. Otherwise great stay.

Wild Duck Lakehouse

Loved that the house was directly by the water, lots of amenities and extra space. Fully stocked kitchen was a plus as well and not to mention a hot tub to relax in, there were toys to play in the water that made it super fun! I do have to say, the housekeeping of this home could definitely do a better job, especially with covid around. There were cob webs upstairs in the loft, on the chandelier and also inside the guesthouse next door. Crumbs were left on the dining table as if no one wiped everything down. Luckily I brought Clorox wipes and had to clean before we brought any of our belongings inside the home. Other than that, it was a wonderful vacation and was nice to get out of the city and make some peaceful memories.

Great Lakeside Spot

This spot was better than we expected. We stayed with 6 adults and 2 babies and had plenty of space. The kitchen was well-furnished, the only thing lacking was a toaster. There were two hard kayaks with paddles on the property for guests to use, along with the float and paddleboat displayed in the photos. We brought our own kayaks and paddleboards for use on the lake, which were easy to launch from the water on a fine gravel slope just past the backyard. Fishing was decent here, as we caught over 20 yellow perch ranging from 4-8 inches from the shoreline, dock, and out on the water in kayaks (silver kastmasters and small artificial worms). I saw some larger species jumping in the lake, as well as two large rainbow trout beneath another pier, but had no luck catching them. I spoke to a local resident who claimed there were also Largemouth Bass and Carp in the lake, but saw no evidence there. Within driving distance of Lake Kachess or Lake Cle Elum if you want to go for something bigger.
