The ‘Tugaloo Tuck-In” lake house is “tucked-in” perfectly on the beautiful Tugaloo River on Lake Hartwell, in a quiet cove around the corner from amazing mountain views and the famous Jumping Rock! Our newly constructed 2-story home can sleep 14 comfortably. With two covered porches, spend your mornings looking out onto the HUGE backyard with lake views, or enjoy your days on the lake with your boat in the private cove with a covered dock, or use the kayaks, paddle-board and floats to swim! The home offers two covered porches with lake-views, hammock and porch swing, a large flat backyard and spacious patio with a fire-pit area. The yard has plenty of room to play yard-games or relax in the sun. Enjoy your days on the lake and store your boat in the private, covered dock - Or feel free to use one of the three Kayaks, Paddle-board or floats! The secluded cove feels like your own private swimming pool and only a five minute kayak ride around the corner from the popular "Jumping Rock", where lake-goers jump in the lake from a 30 foot cliff! Relax at night by the intimate fire-pit underneath the beautiful night sky. Game nights will be a blast in the basement game-room with a NEW arcade game with over 20 classic arcade games including “Mortal Kombat”, a beautiful pool table, an air hockey, and darts - Or enjoy watching your favorite team on one of the 3 Smart TVs. It’s your lake destination get-away at the secluded Tugaloo Tuck-In! Come relax and enjoy the "lake life"!

Dock/Lake Toys: Relax on the dock-swing or take a swim in the quiet cove! Grab one of the fishing poles or jump on the angler-kayak and find your new favorite spot. Paddle out to the GA or South Carolina side of the lake, just beyond the mouth of our cove, or test your balance on the stand-up paddle board. We have two complimentary adult life jackets.

HUGE Back yard Fire Pit & Games: Enjoy the huge, flat backyard with an amazing fire-pit patio or swing on the hammock under the covered porch. Enjoy an outdoor game of Bocce Ball, Volleyball or lawn darts!

Close to many attractions: 45 minutes to multiple vineyards, 15 minutes to Curahee Country Club, 20 minutes to Tugaloo State park, 45 minutes to Tallulah Gorge State Park, 50 minutes to Clemson, 1 hour 10 minutes to Athens (University of Georgia).

Wonderful family house on the Lake

We loved this house and property. Our family of 12, including 3 grandchildren, had such a wonderful vacation. The house has everything you need and is exceptionally beautiful. The cove is great for swimming and little children. Jumping rock is literally around the corner! We brought 2 boats and had plenty of room. We will definitely come back.

Golf weekend

Property was clean, well stocked, and plenty of room. We are a group of friends who do a golf weekend each year. Usually 10-12 of us, so this house was a perfect fit. Thanks for a great stay.

Great experience

Our family of 13 had a wonderful time at this vacation house. The house was very clean. The hosts were accommodating and were super responsive to texts. Having lake access was a plus even though we didn’t rent a boat. The kids and even a couple of our adults enjoyed jumping off the dock and learning a new skill on the provided paddle board. Great area for a fire pit and our night of having s’mores. We really enjoyed our time together at Tugaloo Tuck-in!

Great stay!

The house is perfectly decorated and accommodating for large groups. Our family of 9 got together for Thanksgiving and we so enjoyed our time and cooking there. The main living space is comfortable and cozy along with the 4 bedrooms, 2 on the main floor and 2 downstairs. The air hockey table and pool table got plenty of use as did the outdoor pit. We definitely recommend staying here!

Girls Weekend Getaway

We loved the house. Very cozy with everything we needed. Super easy to get to for all of the guests. In the fall/winter the lake is so low that the property is not truly lakefront. I am sure it is great when the lake is full, but we didn’t get to enjoy any water activities this trip. We loved the house and the trip was another success! #Girlfriends

Fun fall weekend

We enjoyed our stay and took full advantage of all the activities it offered both inside and out. We used the kayaks and paddle board, played bocce ball, air hockey and pool. The house is very modern, clean and well stocked and has nice spaces both inside and out. The lower level with its game room and two bedrooms is great when you have older children. We also used the fire pit. Overall it was a fun weekend and nice getaway.

Clean and comfy!

This property was perfect for our family! The home was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked and we enjoyed the quiet cove location. The water off the dock is deep and clear, and our kids loved jumping off “jumping rock” which is a quick and easy kayak trip away. Cell Service/WiFi was a little spotty, but workable. Communication with host was excellent—Great family lake house!

The house was great and the host was phenomenal and very quick to respond. My guests and I had a great time on the lake and with the game room. The dock and house was very accommodating and very clean for our two boats. Would definitely recommend to others!

Tagaloo Tuck In

The property was great. Owners quick and responsive to all our needs.We rented a pontoon boat for a couple days. The dock was perfect. The walk down to the dock was ok just need to watch your step on the stairs. The walk back up a little breath taking and hard on legs and knees for nanas and papas. Had a great time.

Great Family Vacay!

Our family enjoyed this much-needed get-away and the Tugaloo Tuck-In Lake House proved to be the perfect location. Our family enjoyed the boat dock, kayaks, canoes, fishing poles, pool table, large dining room table for games, and the refrigerator (haha) the most. The sleeping arrangements were perfect, and we loved making smores over the firepit on the last night. With three children under four, there was plenty of space for them to play, as well. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Lovely getaway

Wonderful place to hideaway, enjoyed the private cove for our children swimming. Very clean, great kitchen. The driveway in and out is a beast. The stairs to the lake could use railing on the last section. My elderly parents struggled with steep walk. While it was clearly posted, the lack of washer and dryer became an issue for the ten of us staying for a week. The laundromat was closed during our stay to refinish the floor, so lots of wet and stinky towels for us. Overall great stay though.

A perfect lake house getaway!

My family and I enjoyed ourselves at the famous “Tugaloo Lake House”. We traveled there from Florida, Ohio and South Carolina. It is a fun little property nestled in a quiet cove in the neighborhood. The kids loved fishing on the dock and making s'mores and exploring the outdoors. The home has such a comforting feel to it that makes you feel as your part of the family. Everything we could need in the kitchen was there, even some if the things we forgot at home we found. We are a small knit family and lost 2 family members last year. We promised to spend more time together and this property was the first of many. My grandmother would not stop talking about how wonderful it was there and her heart was full even though we loss so much. It rained on one of our days but we still ventured out and visited Tallula Falls. Even through we were a little wet we has sooo much fun. These views you cant get in Florida. Overall, our first experience with VRBO was great and the hosts were so gracious… their process was seamless, thoughtful and informative! Even though I am an Florida Gator, I still appreciated being here (wink) God bless.
