Wrightsville beach

We enjoyed our long weekend at Wrightsville Beach. The home was beautiful, close to a great beach access, and on a quiet street. It was our first stay at Wrightsville Beach and we hope to return.

Perfect Ocean View Retreat for a Memorable Family Stay!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our son’s parent weekend! This beautiful house with stunning ocean views exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the breathtaking scenery from the two spacious decks. The house was clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to enjoy family meals together, and the cozy living room was perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. The bedrooms were spacious and provided a restful retreat, with the sound of the waves creating the perfect backdrop for a great night’s sleep. The location was ideal—close enough to campus for all the parent weekend events but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the ocean. We loved spending mornings on the deck with coffee, soaking in the view, and evenings watching the sunset as a family. This home truly made our weekend extra special. Great stay!

Our friends and I stayed at this house for a wedding. We had so much fun, we were only five minutes away from the wedding venue, and we were able to walk to a couple bars from the house! We will definitely stay here again next time we plan a trip to Wrightsville.

Great stay in Wrightsville!

Our group enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful property and is kept pristine. Steps away from the beach and the house is well stocked with everything you’d need. The property manager is great and very communicative. We will be back!

Great Stay!

The house was as advertised, a newer home, very comfortable and clean and on a quiet street with quick beach access. It had a nice view of the ocean from the deck on the top floor and being south facing both decks had lovely breezes. The beds were comfortable and the three full bathrooms were a great feature. The common area was very functional and a lovely place to gather. We will probably rent it again in the future!

Just what we wanted

The Blue Heron was exactly as advertised and pictured on VRBO. The house was roomy and clean. It is a short walk to the beach.We loved the top deck with the ocean view. We played cards there each evening. This is the third house my family has rented at Wrightsville Beach. Though they were all nice, this was a favorite. I hope to stay at the Blue Heron again.

Relaxing family time in a beautiful setting

Very close to the beach on a quiet street. The home did not have any spices, obvious coffee filters (found these in a closet near the kitchen bathroom), or enough hand soap in the bathrooms but overall, great house.

Excellent Location

The house is ideally located for beach access with just a very short walk. It is modern and nicely laid out although I think it might be a bit of a tight squeeze with more than 6 adults. With parking obviously at a premium in the Summer season the fact there is driveway and garage parking is a major plus. There was an initial slight problem with the elevator caused by a previous occupant leaving the inside door open resulting in the exterior doors locking shut presumably to prevent someone falling into the shaft. The elevator was a major draw when booking due to some mobility issues with our group and this would have been a big negative. We reached out to Liz and she responded quickly and started working on her end to either have a repair or explanation but in the meantime we were able to gain access to the lift and get it running which it did from then on. Other than that we did enjoy our stay.

Wonderful Trip

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The home was great and everything I expected it too. The location to seafood restaurants and the beach was great! Enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to others and would stay again. Our only complaint was that the elevator did not work, otherwise perfect place.

Perfect Beach House!

I rented this house for Labor Day weekend for my entire family and I cannot recommend enough! Location was fantastic, right off of the beach and close to the restaurants and bars. The house was very clean and very well stocked, kitchen had everything you need and there were even a ton of beach chairs for our use. Will hopefully stay again in the future.

Family vacation

We rented for 2 weeks. We have 4 sons. So family of 6. It was heaven! The beach was so close. The house had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of beach chairs. Extra fridge in the garage came in super handy! We loved the decks. We would happily rent here again.

Great home and perfect location

Blue Heron was perfect for our large family. The four rooms including 2 ensuite bathrooms along another full bathroom and half bathroom. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and to the chairs in the garage Overall, This ia one of the beat vacation rental we have ever used. Property manager was great.
