Good Apartment... But
A good sized apartment with a large balcony, looking down to the beach. Easy entrance and exit, lift access to floor 8 and aircon should you need it.
Spotlessly clean, but a 'toilet' smell throughout.
The apartment is on the higher price range for a weeks stay and because of this, some things let it down a little. The smell, the extractor in the one bathroom doesn't work, the beds are of poor quality, there is a large table in the living room, that is so big, one could land a plane on it, even the fridge door is on the wrong way round. Little things, but all add up to just make you think the apartment is a little overpriced.
The main thing though is checking in and collecting the keys. The letting agent is in benidorm, not La Cala de Finestrat. An hours walk, each way or, 15 mins in a cab, each way. It's OK if you travel to Spain by car, but not, like us, if you fly in and get dropped off at La Cala by coach.
Nice apartment but for me, a one time stay. I have stayed at plenty of others over the last 15 years, where initial arrival is somewhat easier.
