Get ready for a real treat at Big Buck Lodge!
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits on 7.5 private acres and is pet friendly. Gorgeous floor to ceiling windows in the living room with propane fireplace allow for long gazes out into the heavily wooded surrounding area. Just out the back door are several private hiking trails that lead to the Sandy river. In the Winter time you can use the provided snowshoes to hike around the property or you can sled on the hill right out back. Bring your favorite coffee or K-Cups and start your morning with a nice hot beverage outside in the covered gazebo with bar, mini fridge & firepit. Or relax and melt away your cares in the new hot tub.
If you would prefer to stay in; there is ping pong, shuffleboard, and corn hole in the garage. This home has a well appointed gourmet kitchen for the chef in the family to cook meals for all. A refrigerated wine chiller for those bottles of your favorite merlot have a place to relax too. The master suite downstairs offers a nice sized jacuzzi tub and lovely forested views.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a beautiful setting! The view out the main windows and off the back deck are incredible! The hot tub was a great addition. There is also a hiking trail in the back yard that can lead you to the river within a short walking distance. There were a few cons: -the house was very dark with very dim light bulbs-it looked like the landscaping around the whole house hasn't been touched in a VERY long time. We had to knock down weeds to enjoy the back patio. -there are a few chairs under the covered, outdoor fireplace area but not any other furniture outside. That's where we wanted to be! -the ping pong table should be thrown away. It looks like someone landed on it

Family Summer Vacation to Mt Hood
We had an amazing stay at Big Buck Lodge! The home and location was ideal for our family.. the home was welcoming and cozy; the property was serene and the ease of location to the many of Mt Hoods trails, restaurants, shopping, etc! We hope to return to Big Buck Lodge during the winter months!

The kitchen was a dream and had everything you could ask for. The outdoor covered fire area, hot tub and garage games were added bonuses. A beautiful Christmas tree greeted us upon our arrival. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had the best experience at Big Buck Cabin! It was the 4 of us but we hosted family for a dinner. The cabin accommodated 18 people for dinner easily! We had everything we needed. We stopped at the Walmart near the Portland airport and did curbside then headed to the cabin. We only ate out twice at the Zig Zag Inn for an awesome Breakfast and Timberlane Lodge for dinner. All other meals were super easy at the cabin. There are so many activities to keep everyone from 1yr to 99 yrs busy! We loved the trail down to the river and the kids loved playing on the swing set. The hot tub under the stars was breath taking and perfect after skiing Mt Hood. The view out of the living roomEvery morning with the sun rise is something we will always remember. One evening the power went out (even surrounding homes nearby) and the cabin had a generator! We felt that was such an awesome luxury to have in the mountains if the power goes out! Made us feel like we were in good hands. Thank you for making our family holiday so perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay in such an awesome place!

The space was perfect where we could spread out just a bit, but also be together a lot. It felt very isolated and private, but also was just a little drive back to the store if need be. The views of the hills from the house are stunning all throughout the day. The access to the trails and river was great. We had deer out the window and could hear owls hooting from the hot tub. Check in was very easy and the property management was friendly and helpful. Perfect size for 7-8 people. I didn't notice anything that wasn't clean when arriving and kitchen was well appointed. The outdoor fireplace is so much better than a firepit because the smoke isn't chasing you around the circle the whole time - and there was plenty of wood. The only issues we had was the door of the bonus fridge in the garage was wonky and we kinda were hoping for a dvd player for some of the movies that were provided - very small issues in light of how much much we enjoyed this house! Would definitely stay here again!!

A lovely, large home with everything and more you need. Great for those with a dog and/or children. Very well maintained and appointed. Customer service by All Seasons again was top notch. Many restaurants and a Thriftway closeby.

Wonderful place all around. Well cared for and excellent service from management company. The stereo that is listed is not accessible so recommend bringing a bluetooth speaker or check with management. They ended up driving out a couple small bluetooth speakers to make it right. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Cabin Found Lacking
We searched a LONG time for the right place for our anniversary trip to the Mt Hood area. We loved the way the house looked online, and we were excited to experience it. From the check in day onward though, it just wasn't what we expected for the cost. The keys weren't left as we were told they would be. When we left messages hoping to hear back immediately, it took over an hour and a half to hear anything. We had gone to get dinner 5 minutes away, and had HOPED the company would bring us the keys. Instead, we had to backtrack to get them after dinner. We arrived to house, and the gate wasn't open. We had to climb around gate to get into house to use WiFi to call (as there was no cell service). At first, we thought we had wrong keys, as the keys didn't work at front door. Wish there had been explanation keys are for garage door, not front door. Someone did come open gate, which was appreciated. FYI - fan in master bedroom grinds when on and is useless (we are fan people so disappointed there too!). I think this place could have been so much better if it had felt like it was WORTH the added cost I spent. In future, I will question the need to spend more when it didn't get us anything but frustration.

Top Tier Property for Family Trip
Great property that seemed to have all the things you would want and need for a family trip. Kitchen stocked with extensive amount of tools to prepare any meal and all were brand name. House has space for everyone to have personal space as well as group seating for meals and games. Lots of options for hiking on the. Great location where you are completely secluded and only 10 minute away from grocery store and coffee shop.

We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday with a relaxing girls weekend here. It was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking. We enjoyed many hours at the outside fireplace talking and relaxing. Beautiful Mountain Oasis!
We so enjoyed our stay at Big Buck Lodge for spring break this year! It was our family's first trip to the area, and we couldn't have picked a better home as our base. The area is so serene and our two dogs loved the ability to wander with us around outside in the expansive rear acreage or sun themselves on the large concrete patio. The kids had a fabulous time playing ping pong, tabletop shuffleboard and corn hole as well as enjoying the well stocked game closet. The kitchen was very nicely appointed with everything we needed to make delicious meals to enjoy together. My personal favorite spot was the outdoor fireplace where we were able to play charades and make s'mores on our final evening of the stay. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with us! We will certainly be back!
