About this property

Welcome to The Pittstop, a completely renovated home located on stunning, private Fripp Island, South Carolina. This gorgeous 4 bed/3 bath home is loaded with all of the amenities that would allow for an absolutely euphoric stay. With a beautiful view of Deer Lake from your master suite balcony and a full size bed swing on the front porch, you are sure to relax and unwind at this home. The home comes with the use of a 6 seater golf cart, a 4 seater golf cart, 2 kayaks, and 12 bicycles. This home has a Roku tv in every bedroom for streaming Netflix, a Nintendo Switch and Wii to entertain the kids on those rainy days, as well as high speed wireless internet. The home is stocked with books and board games on the off chance that you have a rainy day. The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your cooking needs, there is both a gas grill and a flat top grill on the back porch, and we have added a 100 lb ice maker to fill those coolers for beach days! Bedding, bath towels, beach towels, hair dryers, and toiletries are provided. Grab your swim suit and your groceries and you won't be disappointed! We are members of Fripp Island Club and can purchase amenity cards for you for an additional fee in order to access golf, tennis, pools, and restaurants. Amenity card prices are set by the Club and vary depending on the time of year and length of stay. Rates are $50/card for a summer week or $35/card for non-summer rentals. Amenity Cards are REQUIRED for anyone 13 years old or older in order to gain access but you are free to access the beach and shop at Spring Tide Market & Deli, the Marina Deli, and Mango's Gift Shop without the amenity cards. All check in's are with a remote smart lock. I am just a phone call or text message away anytime to help make your stay even better! Cars, golf carts, and bikes are all welcome on the island. Included with your stay is a 6 seater golf cart, a 4 seater golf cart, 12 bicycles, and 2 kayaks.

Great stay

From the time house was booked and our vacation the house had sold. A few bumps along the way (our side and the hosts) but the new owners were absolutely wonderful! Andrew was so accommodating and I feel like they went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Gracious hosts and would definitely rent from them again.

Great time on Fripp!

We had an absolute blast spending the week at the Pittstop on Fripp. Everything with the stay was perfect. We had 9 people which worked perfectly in the house. The golf carts made getting around so convenient. We played golf, pickle ball, volleyball and hung out at the beach. At night we played games in the house! Everything was lovely. Communication with the host prior to arrival was great and we needed nothing the entire stay. We look forward to coming back!!

House was great. Had just about everything you needed. Great location. We had from 3 year to 75 year old. We all had enough space! Having two golf carts available was a great plus. The bicycles they had are in need of repair or replaced. Of all the adult bikes I only found one I could actually ride and the breaks on it were very limited. I did not try out any of the children's, kayaks had no plugs in them.

Teacher Getaway

This house was beautiful and so comfy. We had the best time and plan on returning next year. There was plenty of room for all 11 of us. We loved the two golf carts and the ice maker the best!! Highly recommend.

Fantastic Fripp property!!

We loved this house SO much!! It was the perfect size for our family, plenty of space, and the furnishings were so nice. I loved that when we got there all the lamps were on, and there was beach music playing from the TV. The back porch outdoor furniture needs updated, but it wasn't really that big of a deal. Having two golf carts was very much appreciated! I would definitely stay here again!!

Best place ever

This place was clean, had everything you needed, kitchen, cook needs, games for kids and adults, bikes, golf carts , good sleeping beds, nice big table for all the family to gather around, wrap around deck for everyone to sit on and watch the wild life. The host was quick to answer any questions I had. We will surely be back for a week next summer

Fabulous home, will ALL the bells and whistles

Our family has been vacationing at Fripp Island several times a year for over 15 years, and this house had the most 'extras' of any home that we've ever stayed in. From the Gaggenau coffee machine, the use of a SC State Park pass to visit Hunting Island, all the outside 'toys' (bikes, kayaks, two golf carts, etc) . . . our families had a wonderful and comfortable visit. Taylor is a gracious host who was always quick to respond, and we would love to visit this home again. Thank you, again, for your attention to the extra details. Our visit was great!

Great place!

This house was perfect!! Location was great and located on a small, quiet cul-da-sac. All the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space for two families. Kitchen was fully stocked including dishwasher and laundry detergent. The bikes and golf carts were an added plus. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay at Fripp

We really enjoyed this house. It's in a quiet cul-de-sac but a short golf cart ride to everything on Fripp. The golf carts and bikes included were a huge plus for our group. The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. Taylor is a great host who respondes to questions quickly, before and during our trip.

Another very successful Fripp trip!

Fun vacation

Property matched the pictures nicely. The house was in a convenient location and came with everything as advertised. The home is a little older but renovated. The bed rooms are a little on the small size, but the open kitchen, dining, and living room areas are nice. Kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances, cookware & dishes needed for our party of 6 adults and 3 kids.

Charming house with visiting deer

House was nice & charming. Plenty of bed space and comfortable for our group of 10. 2 Golf carts/12 bikes/2 kayaks were a welcome bonus, so factor that into your decision before renting elsewhere. Taylor is also Extremely Prompt with responses and was a great host. Although we did not actually meet our host - they are just a phone call or message away and are VERY HAPPY to assist you with any questions or concerns. I never waiting more than 5 mins for them to reply. The house has everything you will need and then some, so just bring whatever food you want. There is Plenty of towels, bedding, cookware, soap, shampoo and sunburn gel in all three bathrooms. The double shower in the master suite was awesome for the wife and I. The house is at the end of a culdacac in a quite wooded area... Lots of deer 🦌 bucks & does visit the property daily and the kids/grandkids enjoyed petting and feeding them apples and lettuce. The only alligators 🐊 that we saw were in a pen at the nature station and one on the golf course. So don't be afraid to visit this island. Go to the beach when the tide is out and there will be plenty of room for you to enjoy whatever you want. All-in-all this was a Great vacation and we ended up bringing several sea creatures (hermit crabs, shrimp, star fish, anemones, snails, jellyfish, and other little fish) home to put into our saltwater tanks. Thanks so much to Taylor for making us feel like we were a part of the island family.
