Our place is in the ATV friendly town of Mullens, with easy access to the Pinnacle Creek Trail, which connects to Indian Ridge and Pocahontas with plenty of Outlaw Trails in between. We are a family of riders so we have made our place the perfect destination for families and riders alike.

we were pleasantly surprised at the size of this place. There were plenty of places to sit in either of the two living rooms. And plenty of places for folks to sleep.
Kitchen was well-stocked, and even had a good bit of (still sealed) food in the pantry. (I discovered this after finding out no food delivery services would deliver to me)
The bathroom in the master was huge, but unfortunately the shower was tiny and difficult to use--it was fine for hosing off, but i would use the other bathroom for anything more than that.
Home was in a quiet neighborhood, a quick drive up the road from downtown Mullens. It is right next to the train tracks, but I only heard a train go by once, and it was midday.
Property owner was responsive to requests and feedback.
Everything a-ok except I found the combo lock on the front door a bit cantankerous. Maybe just my ineptness.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
This place was ok
This place was kinda run down, eveything was pretty old and outdated which u can't tell in the listing pictures. Also when I hear the word retreat I imagine its decently secluded and this place has neighbors all on top of you and a school nearby. Also quiet hours begin at 9pm, who goes on vacation to be quiet at 9pm? Probably the worst thing though its right next to railroad tracks and yep you guessed it, the train went by both nights we stayed and blows its horn. The only things we found positive is it was roomy and the master bed was comfortable, I can't speak for the other beds.
House was larger than expected and perfectly located
House was larger than expected and perfectly located. We would like to come back again sometime but with more people. Everything was as expected and more. We even got to watch some of the kids softball games Saturday during a break in riding the trails.
The HMT resort was as described. There was good communication on the front end with Sarah via email. The check process was easy with door code and directions before we arrived. Everything 4 adult men needed for a long weekend of fun and adventure on the Trails.
Plenty of parking for 2-3 trucks w/ trailers. Towels and linens were provided, place lace was clean when we arrived. Sarah was even made sure to have the place ready for our early arrival. My only complaints are small ones. Unfortunately the hall bathroom toilet seat was broken when we arrive, so anyone using had to be careful, and there is a train track less than 20’ from the back of the house and it sounds like you could reach out & touch it when the train comes by. With that said, we only had one train come thru during our stay. We actually tried to stay up the next night to watch it come thru, but unfortunately we were so exhausted from the day of riding we never made it. Not sure if it ever came thru again. LOL! Everyone that I spoke to while in Mullens was so pleasant and appeared to appreciate us coming to WV. I stopped to ask a local sherif for directions to the local car wash which he was happy to provide. Before I walked away he told me thanks for coming to stay with us. Great little town with awesome trails and nice people! All in all a good place to stay and I will look to reserve this place again when we return again next spring!
Thanks
Good times riding the trails, with good friends. Property is as listed. Good access to trails. Plenty of trails in this area to ride for a couple of days.
Property comfortably slept 6. Close access to the Pinnacle Creek trailhead (approx 4 miles) and room to park two trucks & trailers. Very easy access off the highway when arriving & departing. Would stay here again.
2nd time staying here. Love it. Very comfortable, lots of room, 3 good sized bedrooms. Right off the expressway. Very good communication with the host. Look forward to staying here again.
Everything was fine.. use Yahoo maps or Google to get there.. don’t use Waze. But host warned us about the GPS. Super friendly , everything needed was there. Great place to stay
Perfect amount space, great location. We went to Wilmer Dam, Sophia Tunnels, Peach-tree Falls, Ziggy’s just to name a few spots of interest. Great town with restaurants, grocery store, gas station, car wash and more. Located convenient to HF&M trail head and the local trails and sites as already mentioned.
Great place to stay for atv riders! We were able to ride directly to the trailhead from the house, no need to trailer anywhere. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy access from the interstate with beautiful views on the ride in. We had a great time!
This place was truly awesome and met the needs of our small group. Close to all the amenities that one would need as well as easy access to the trails. We will definitely be back!

We are a family of riders that love riding with our family and friends. Since a little girl I always rode ATVs with my Dad everywhere. We started coming to HMTs a few years ago, and its some of my favorite memories with him. He passed suddenly, so we bought our place where he loved the most, where we continue making cherished memories.
