The themed bedrooms include “The Houndstooth”: a room dedicated to the legendary Bear Bryant. With red, black, and white décor, houndstooth accents, locker style nightstands, and inspirational Paul Bryant quotes on the wall, you’ll feel just like a player yourself. You’re welcome to borrow the houndstooth hat or scarf during your stay, and enjoy a great night’s sleep on the full sized bed. Sleep in late with the room darkening blinds and curtains. The second room is the “1831”: giving a nod to the year in which the University was established, you’ll find more rustic/antique décor, shiplap wall, and warm gray tones. This room has a super comfortable memory foam full sized bed, and features double closets. Each bedroom has it’s own wall mounted Smart TV (connect using your Netflix, Roku, or Amazon Prime account).
If you need to get some work in during your weekend, you can escape to the nook off of the kitchen where you’ll find a small workstation to set up your laptop. WiFi is available of course.
The living room has a large sofa and a huge 70” screen TV. In the kitchen you’ll find all of the dishware, silverware, and cookware you’ll need. Off of the kitchen, the dining room seats 8 and also has a piano for those who like to play and entertain.
Outside, the concrete patio with it’s twinkling lights and built in BBQ grill provide the perfect spot to cook out while family or friends play in the fenced in back yard.
As for parking, you’ll enjoy the covered carport and spacious driveway. Self-Checkin is easy, with an electronic combo keypad giving you access whenever you arrive.
This is a personal, daily used home for a 3rd year U of Alabama student (Eric) who is earning his food money and paying the mortgage by running it as an Airbnb on select game day weekends. The home will be entirely yours during your stay, Eric will not be on site at all but will be in town if you need him for anything.
