The Bica Attic is a bright, sunny apartment in Lisbon District São Paulo. It meets all the conditions that can be put to amenities and comforts of a modern home. And, differently than you might expect from an attic, it is very pleasant temperature thanks to a completely overhauled roof insulation. The apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon, "Bica", a historic district on the southern slopes of Lisbon towards Tejo. She is ideally suited for 1 or 2 couples, but is also well equipped child-friendly (2 double beds, 1 Snap-bed, cot available).
Bica is a picturesque district in the half of the roads are stairs - so hilly it is here. Through the center, the Rua da Bica Duarte Belo cuts, on a ropes drawn tram, a "Elevador" Cais Sodré at the foot up to the Bairro Alto (above) runs. This Elevador operates since 1892 and is classified in the meantime, as a historical object.
In Bica you are virtually "in the midst". Up where Calhariz the party mile Bairro Alto Bica and Sao Paulo separates, one encounters a busy life. Also you will find there plenty of shopping opportunities for everything you need to live.

Also you will find there plenty of shopping opportunities for everything you need to live. Turning to the other hand down, we come to Cais Sodre, the station of the "Linha de Cascais" that, a kind of light rail along the Tagus river goes to the flows in Cascais, the last stop in the open sea.
From the apartment is about 50m upwards until Calhariz. Then right down leads in 2 mins to Largo Camões and in another minute, across the square as early as Café Brasileira in Chiado. Camões (pronounced Kameusch) and Chiado are certainly two names that you should remember, because everyone knows them in Lisbon, and in addition, they are popular meeting places.
Always the legendary tram No 28 along the narrow streets of old Lisbon through to the parliament building in São Bento Turning to the Calhariz arrived but left, as you pass through. And who is there still adventurous and on foot, you can walk on to the cathedral in Estrela. A coffee or tea and one or the other piece "Pasteis" but definitely recommended.
