The house looks small outside but it is mighty inside. Four bedrooms and three baths on three floors. Ample gathering space for our family in the open living/dining/ kitchen areas. The house is in excellent condition and extremely clean. It is full of charm from the "old Atchison" mail cabinet to the charming 33/45 record player with albums to the over the top coffee bar complete with flavors to add to the coffee. It was a very nice experience. It could use better pictures on line.
This is a beautiful home!! Very spacious and clean. I would most definitely recommend this house for anyone staying in Atchison!
The only callout is that there were cats that lived the property as well.
Everything was great! From cleanliness of the house, to location and to the house being beautifully decorated and having comfortable beds! We had a lovely time, thanks for letting us stay at your charming house. It was one of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had!!!😊
This was a beautiful place to stay. We had space for all our children and grand children. The hosts lived next store and were available as needed. The place was gorgeous and newly remodeled. They had everything we needed.
We loved our stay here. The house is fantastic. There was plenty of room for our large family to spread out. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen as well as on the gas grill outside. Everyone had a space to relax. I especially enjoyed the outdoor space. In addition, the house is beautifully decorated. Marty and Kerry were very helpful. They reached out when our son left something behind. We look forward to renting this home again.
Our second time staying here was just as great as the first time! Everything you need to feel right at home. 3 levels for kids to spread out and a fully stocked play room!
House is fantastic. Plenty of room, updated, great hosts, what else there to say? We were here on a work trip and should we be back, we will definitely stay here again!
It’s always nice to stay at this home. It is very clean, which we appreciate so much! We’ve stayed several times. The owners, Marty and Kerry, are extremely helpful, easy to communicate with and have taken very good care of this home. We will stay again!
Deferred (from Aug) mini family reunion including seldom seen relatives and on-going genealogical research. Found every comfort needed in a family - friendly house. Very well done renovation and tasteful decor.Fast computer connection and cable. Well provisioned with non-perishables and every modern appliance. Will gladly recommend this house to any responsible group.
Another great stay at this beautiful home during Benedictine Homecoming
This is the second year of renting this house during Benedictine Homecoming and it did not disappoint! the home is beautiful and the size was perfect. We hope to come back next year.
We were in town for family weekend at BC. The house is close to campus, which was a bonus. The house was so well decorated and updated. From the moment you walk in, you know you’ve picked a good house!
Comfortable and welcoming. And the neighborhood cats are nice hosts! Everyone in the family had amble space to feel settled, and the basement allowed us to gather together.
Wonderful house super clean and the owners were so kind five star

This is perfect spot to help any family feel like they have stepped to a beautifully restored home. The owners have done an amazing job of thinking about all the extras that make a short stay feel like you are in the comfort of your own place. We loved the restoration in the home and how they have used so many vintage items from the old and incorporated them into the modern decor and design. It was great mix of history and modern convenience in things such as lighting a bluetooth speakers in the bathrooms. If you are in the area please find a way to stay in the beautiful home...our family was very impressed and highly recommend.
This is a great place for families! We stayed here while celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Benedictine College. Very comfortable. Quiet and friendly neighborhood.. Great hosts too..
We went to visit our daughter at Benedictine and this house is amazing. We had such a wonderful stay. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked dinners and brunch and the house had everything we needed. There were tons of toys in the basement for our little kids to play with and my husband and teenage son loved the record player! The sound was great and we had fun listening to the various records. The house was very clean, bedrooms were great and beds comfortable. Bathrooms were modern and her clean and showers were great too. Location was perfect, close to campus and grocery stores. Also a park only one block away. We would love to stay again!!
We were bringing our family together in Atchison for Thanksgiving and this proved to be a great place: lots of room, comfortable, and three floors meant that we could separate for a zoom meeting, reading or a nap, and gather for meals or watching the World Cup.
Our family wanted to be able to stay together, so that we could socialize between events for our son's Wedding Weekend festivities. The house was clean, functional to accommodate multiple families - Nice, big kitchen and open space to gather and talk. Plenty of bathrooms, the basement and the attic space is nice for those who need a quiet space to refresh. The owners were helpful and really nice to work with if we needed information or had questions.
The owners have put a lot of thought into this property. The house is very spacious and immaculate! They really thought of everything. There is an office in the basement, toys for little ones and two grills out back. They really exceeded expectations. The record player was a hit with our family. We would love to stay here again.
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Marty and Kerry's lovely home in Atchison! With three bathrooms and four bedrooms our group had plenty of space to move around and as much privacy as desired. The home is spacious, great kitchen with everything you need! It was a short drive to our reunion and a wonderful space to unwind. We highly recommend this home!
Highly recommend this home! The owners were great to work with and the house exceeded our expectations. It easily accommodated our needs from a young family with toddlers and my elderly mother using a walker. Location was fantastic as well. Great stay!
