Stay in Casa Diaz and live in your own La Quinta resort oasis! Admire 360 mountain views as you lounge by the pool and hot tub, entertain outside in a lush garden setting, relax by the fire pit or watch movies on the giant projector screen indoors. We've made this the perfect location for remote work with fast wifi and desks in every room.

We've made Casa Diaz the perfect getaway for vacation or remote work:

OUTDOOR LIVING: Pool, hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, furnished patio, dining table, lounge furniture

KITCHEN: The kitchen comes fully equipped, with dishwasher, filtered fridge water, a drip as well as Keurig coffee maker, dish-ware & flatware, and a wide selection of spices for cooking.

LIVING ROOM: 100 inch projector and screen with Roku and surround sound to feel like in your own movie theater as you stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. Room darkening curtains allow viewing day & night.

WIFI: Fast 500Mbs wifi with extenders throughout the property so you can work from any room or outside.

REMOTE WORK: There are desks in every room plus the living room, 3 28" monitors (can be used for PC & Mac), and a laser black-and-white printer

LINENS & BEDDING: Sleep like in 5-star hotel with linens from Brooklinen and Quince. Each bed has four pillows, two for side/back sleepers and two for stomach-sleepers

LAUNDRY: Large washer and dryer

OTHER: Pool and bath towels included, complimentary toiletries, central AC/heating

Beautiful home - tastefully decorated with a lovely Garden. Ryan was an amazing host.

During our 2-month stay at Ryan's house, everything met or exceeded our expectations. Check-in was easy and Ryan touched base with us weekly to make sure that we were all good. The house was exactly like the photos and had everything we needed to feel at home, including kitchen items, comfortable mattresses and sheets, and plenty of laundry and dish soap. The wifi was also great and the desks in each room were perfect for remote work (there are even monitors, but we never used them). While we loved the house, we realllllly loved the garden, where we spent a lot of time grilling, eating at the outdoor dining table, and hanging in the hot tub. When we weren't at the house hanging in the garden, we were usually watching tennis, playing pickleball, or hiking some trails. Finally, while the house was great for just the two of us, it was even better for hosting friends and family, and with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms there was plenty of space and privacy. Overall, we really loved the house and its location and would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking to spend some time in the desert.

Great Owner and Beautiful Property

Jeff was great to work with. The home was wonderful. The neighborhood isn’t as nice as some in La Quinta but it was a quiet neighborhood and great place for our family to hang out for the month.

I'm originally from Indiana and I've lived on the West Coast for over a decade. During this pandemic, my girlfriend and I built our own desert oasis in La Quinta Cove and now that we're returning to the city we're making it available for others to enjoy as well!

Why they chose this property

We bought Casa Diaz during the pandemic so we could have plenty of space to work from and feel like we were vacationing at home but only a few hours from LA and very close to Palm Springs. We've tried to make it ideal for a staycation by adding desks in each room and fast wifi everywhere, including the garden (yes - doing Zooms from the cabana bed became our thing). A fun fact is that most of the art that is hanging on the walls is original and was made by my girlfriend who is an artist and used one of the bedrooms as her art studio.

What makes this property unique

The 360 mountain views in this part of La Quinta Cove are hard to beat and you're only a couple of blocks away from the walking paths and trails, so we would make that our daily ritual. We love entertaining outside in the garden, or reading under the olive trees. The outdoor lighting is moody and romantic and perfect for a date-night-at-home - and since we couldn't go to movie theaters, we installed a giant projector screen and sound system so we could have our own movie night experience as well.
