The house was in a perfect location. We were UTVing in Blackhills Forest. The driveway and lot were perfect for a truck with a gooseneck trailer to park and get out easily. It was clean and confortable. It had a nice yard for our dog. We had a small hiccup getting inside but the owner was very fast to get back to us and fix it. We would definitely stay again!
Dog friendly cabin with all the amenities overlooking hole #4 at Boulder Canyon. It was clear from our arrival that Anna & JP have put a lot of thought into this property. Everything you need from the comforts of home was provided.
Central location made it easy to day trip anywhere in the Black Hills, Custer State Park and the surrounding areas. We like to cook and grill for meals and found the utensils and cooking equipment to be complete and as good as at home. Relaxing under the covered porch with an adult beverage on those adirondack chairs (tilt & swivel) was a perfect way to end the day. Nearly a dozen deer came down each night at dusk and walked across the property. Even the neighbors were friendly.
Beds were comfy, large closets, tv's, washer/dryer, nice towels, and a shower with good water pressure made the stay very enjoyable. Had to wash dishes by hand and the highway is a little noisy with the windows open but were not considered inconveniences during our stay. The hosts were always available but left us alone to enjoy our getaway.
Overall, you will not be disappointed in this property, the location, or the Vrbo experience with these hosts. 9.5 out of 10... and we will be coming back.
We really enjoyed our stay, cabin was relaxing. Also close to trail heads to enjoy side by side riding. Great location, in between Sturgis & Deadwood. Nice outdoor patio. Plus was nice washer & dryer, along with Smart TVs. We plan to book here again!
My husband and I along with another couple came for Sturgis. It was the perfect location for us to ride and explore the beautiful area. The cabin was exactly what we needed and very clean. Highly recommend!
We booked this gorgeous cabin for one night, at the last minute. Then we decided we needed an extra night, and the owners were very accommodating and made adding the extra night easy. This cabin is very clean and spacious. Everything was new (if not, it sure seemed like it). A perfect spot between Deadwood and Sturgis and not far from all of the National Monuments. Nice big driveway for the truck and motorcycle trailer with plenty of extra room. I definitely recommend staying here. I know I will if we make it out this way again.
Anna and JP were awesome to deal with. They quickly answered all of our questions before we booked our trip. The L.C. Cabin was extremely clean, updated and a very homey feeling. It is conveniently located on the highway between Sturgis and Deadwood. Plenty of space to park our UTV’s, pickups and trailers. They have a nice patio and grilling area with very comfortable chairs. Overall this cabin was a great place for us to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again! Thanks Anna & JP!
My husband JP, and I, are both Army combat veterans. We have four children. My husband has been sober for nearly 10 years. He is employed with a Class 1 railroad and also works as a photographer traveling the country focusing on addiction, poverty, disabled veterans, and anyone living on the margins of American society. He captures images and collects the stories of those willing to share. You can find him on social media at Street Grunt Photography. I have a love for house plants and a deep interest in rare plants. We enjoy hiking, traveling, and we absolutely love the Black Hills.
